Been bringing my dog Kilo here since he was a puppy with Parvo back in 2015. The staff did everything they could to save him and he was able to make it through that horrible sickness that takes most dogs lives. I brought him in today for a medical emergency because it turned out he has kidney stones. Once again the doctors and nurses did everything they could to help him and make him as comfortable as possible. Also helped me with options for him and gave me the reassurance that I feel most pet parents need. We are currently working on a treatment plans for him and as of right now he is doing well. Amazing staff overall, especially at the front desk I hope they are blessed in every way possible because they really do care about their pet patients.

We have two boxers and Healthy Pet Hospital treats our dogs like they are their own. The ladies up front do everything they can to get you in as soon as possible and they go out of their way to make sure our dogs are comfortable... so much so that Grace JUMPED OUT OF THE WINDOW OF MY CAR to get into the back door of the vet- she has never done that before and never done it since. You can see in the photos my dog jumps up on the counter when we pay and they are always so sweet to her... my entire family brings all of our dogs here and we love this place and love the people who take such great care of our fur family members.

Very kind, helpful, and cost effective to euthanize our sweet dog. First, the price beat every other place we called for a fairly large radius, and we were grateful that they didn't gouge us for "exams" when we had just spent a large sum at the ER 10 days prior. Thank you for that! But in reality, everyone was just so very kind and helpful in what was a really REALLY SAD time for our family. Thank you for that most of all.

Ok, let me start out by saying that the front office staff are OUTSTANDING!! Each time I called, they were so very pleasant and friendly, and were very helpful! That really says a lot about a business! The front office staff are the first point of contact and good customer service is so important for any business!This was our first time at this vet/groomer. I have a grumpy 15-year old shih tzu who was banned from our regular groomer because he was so naughty and not cooperative! And with his age, his groomer was concerned about stressing my pup out too much.So we tried other options - a mobile groomer that came to our house (still stressed out my pup) - we bought a clipper to try to do a DIY grooming job (not very successful since we didn't really know what we were doing) - and I tried to give my pup a bath in our tub, which wasn't too bad, but it really matted up his fur since it was getting so long.So finally, I started calling around to vets offices with groomers and I found Healthy Pet Hospital. I explained my situation to the gal that answered the call, and she was very sweet and understanding, and she suggested that a sedated grooming might be best for my pup. She said it would be less stressful on him, it was very safe, and he would be woken up as soon as his grooming was finished.I was a bit nervous about the sedation part of the grooming, but this was pretty much our last resort of getting my pup cleaned up. We made and appointment and I'm so glad we did! I was pleased that we had gotten an update call when he woke up from the sedation to let us know that he did well through the grooming and was great after waking up. When my pup got home, he just seemed happier! (He was still a little loopy from the sedation, but he was wagging his tail and was actually letting us pet him!) He ended up napping the rest of the afternoon.And this morning, he just seemed like a happier pup! Thanks Rose (the groomer) for cleaning our pup up - you did an AMAZING job! And thanks to the staff at Healthy Pet Hospital - I appreciate your genuine kindness and assistance with answering all the questions I had!

Although I have little time to get to know the clinic, I am very fascinated with the treatment they give to my dog Niki and very good veterinarians and the receptionist Michelle is outstanding and kind. Right now they are offering a great a loyalty rewards that comes with great service.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Dr. Whipple and his team really came through for me and my 13 year old dog. Scheduling was easy and I received quality health care (anesthetic dental work) at a price I could afford.This place truly saved my dog, I called so many other places and was not able to find anything available for more than 4 weeks scheduled out.

Absolutely the worst veterinary pet care I have ever experienced. Took my $400 for exam and set of x-rays, wanted to keep out pet adult cat over night for observation, obviously to charge more money, all with out a diagnosis as to why our cat was having problems swallowing any food, and constantly drooling thick saliva and his tongue always sticking out. Vet-Doctor said needed a more extensive prognosis to determine what was going on. Stating the x-rays indicated something going on under his chin… they wanted to do a biopsy to rule out cancer, more money of course. gave an additional $1500 for lab work, not including any surgeries…. Took our pet home, took him next day to Animal Hospital in Fullerton, within five minutes with their vet-doctor discovered a swollen salvia gland under our pets tongue the size of a marble limiting his ability to retract his tongue and swallow any food, as well as producing the thick salvia every time the swollen gland ruptured. $50.00 for office visit and diagnosis….Save your money and take your loved pet to a real veterinary hospital for urgent care.WHAT A RIP-OFF… ABSOLUTELY UN-BELIEVABLE..

Every at Pet Hospital are amazing. From 7 weeks through 13 years they took excellent care of our girl and when she passed away everyone was so great to us. So sensitive to our loss. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Thank you Pet Hospital.

I love Healthy Pet Hospital, we've been taking our two dogs for a couple years and always had great service, even with the change of ownership a couple years back. And even through COVID19 they have been available. This month they were so kind to help me through sending my 15 year old cocker spaniel to heaven. It was so hard, but their help letting me know it was time and their process of saying goodbye and privacy offered to pet owners was wonderful. With COVID19 at another pet hospital we couldn't be with our pet. Their grooming was great, unfortunately with COVID19 this is not available and may not come back.

I started taking my dog there years ago and it seemed fine at first. "SOMETHING IS WRONG BEHIND CLOSED DOORS". The staff, (who i hear is no longer there), was very friendly so i kept going until they killed my baby cat during her spay. The mom got spayed first & was in pain for weeks after her spay (1st spay & I thought it was normal). Front desk mentioned there were complications but then retracted her comment and no one would give me further information. Shortly after i took the baby and she died. looking back, my dog & 2 cats all trembled severely when taking them here. Never happened with other vets. My 3rd cat & dog were spayed at a different hospital and you couldn't tell they had surgery, no pain. I'm so sad i didn't read the signs better. It's been a year since this happened, i wanted to leave it alone but my gut says i should say something & leave this review for others to know. ♥️🙏🏼

I feel like I can trust them for all my pets needs, allways reasonably priced.Having them as my vet, gives me confidence, I don't have to worry, if problems come up, they have quick appointments, and I know it's not going to cost that much if they need something. Stay away from those big box vets.

A very bad experience at Healthy Pet Hospital and grooming in Orange ...My dog is 13 years old would have had her birthday in October she would have turned 14... She is a Diabetic and takes insulin ..... A few months ago she had anepisode of Low blood sugar.... and was in the hospital overnight...She recently seemed to be experiencing systems of Low Blood sugar, I took her to the vet and got very bad advice....I have gone over the treatment with medical professionals and the treatment I was told to do cost her her sweet little life..... Be WARE of Healthy Pet hospital ... I know God is in charge, but I would like to spare someone else that pain I am experiencing ... God Bless your Pets...

I have been taking my dogs here for years just for a bath. I understand they no longer have groomers but they do have somebody in there that will give them a bath. Today I called to make an appointment and was told my dog needed to have an exam to make sure he was healthy enough for a bath. Never in all the years I’ve been coming here has that been an issue. We use another veterinarian for our medical needs. If anything they only require us to make sure they are up-to-date on their vaccinations, which we have utilized their vaccination services when convenient. I understand businesses are struggling but I don’t think it’s cool to nickel and dime people. It’s a bath people.

All staff there are very experienced, professional and most friendly which makes both my dog and myself most happy and satisfied with the assurance that my dog got the best care I could have ever expected. Their grooming is excellent too, you have no complaints from me, and I've been going there for over 3 years!

Terribly incompetent. Went for a simple neutering procedure but they failed to ligate the testicular blood vessels and my dog ended up with a horrific infection.They should be shut down!

I took my cat there to get an update on her shots with routine labs. Waited 1/2 hour to be brought to the exam room. Another 20minutes for the vet tech to come in. Took 2 hours to get the whole exam and shots done. It’s been two weeks to get lab results and they are saying they are still “pending”. I think they have changed management from when I took my other cat there before. I will not go back. I do not recommend them.

The staff and Doctor are so kindI took our puppy in for an emergency visit today and we were seeing promptly. before we left everyone at pet hospital made sure that the puppy was doing well, that I fully understood what needed to be done to care for her and that we would be okay. I really appreciated their kind and prompt attention and the care they showed when we were there.

Excellent care provided. I have a very skittish dog and they always know how to handle her so that she can safely receive her vaccinations. They handle the dogs with care and expertise. I feel that their pricing is very fair and I love that they have Clinic hours that make walk-in visits easy.

The staff were great and friend. But I was not to impressed with the doctor. I availed a free first wellness check for my dog, the doctor didn't do much but to try and sell me other tests that I had to pay for. Maybe because it was free? I have other dogs which I have also taken to the pet hospitals to compare and even though I have also availed a free exam with the other hospital the doctor really did a wellness check.

NEVER GO THERE ..they will kill your pet .Worth pet hospital .. I left my dog there for board & Care . My dog’s weight was 59 lbs when I dropped him and 36 lbs when I picked him up .The dog lost too much weight and I can even see his ribs and feel, be use they didn’t feed him.Complete negligence and disgusting place ..Looking to sue them soon .

We used to take our boxer here but seems they are under new management. We waited 45 minutes even after calling them we were outside for a vet tech appointment before we decided to leave. Another guy before us waited for 45 minutes and was never greeted. Don’t come here. It seems they are disorganized and poor customer service for not letting us know that it would be a long wait. While 2 staff members sat behind the desks, not one of them came out to even advice us. We just wanted a nail trim and anal gland expression. Not worth wasting 45 min of my time. We are going to find another vet.

All three vets are highly knowledgeable and don't mind explaining the details to those who are interested. They always manage to squeeze me in when there's an unforeseen issue that needs addressing. They have vaccine clinic days so that people who struggle financially can still afford basic care. They have a relationship with at least two Orange County rescue groups, which makes me very happy. I need to know that the vet I give my business to really cares. They have proven to me that they do. Another reviewer mentioned the' revolving staff', but I've always been impressed by how quickly the new staff members learn the ropes. I won't name names, but one of their more recent additions is now one of my favorites. I had been to six other vets in the immediate area before determining that Pet Hospital was the right choice for me. If you're looking for a new vet, give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

This pet clinic has drastically changed since Dr Wyatt retired and sold his business. It is no longer a good facility. Hour long waits with an appointment, doctors that are timid and unclear, techs that can’t read charts to see current medications, and my list goes on. Our dog had surgery Monday to remove a cyst. They asked us to come back on Friday for a check up. What did they do? They took out his stitches after 3 days! Now on Sunday I’m sitting at the emergency vet hospital ( of course healthy pet clinic is closed) because his wound burst open and he was bleeding extensively. He needs to be stitched up again. DO NOT GO HERE! I will be looking for a new vet first thing Monday morning.

My daughter recommended this place to me for my two cats. I took one in for surgery and was very happy with the staff and their concern about my cat, Carl. They kept me updated on his condition while they had him for two days and made sure I had the medication he needed to take home with me. I'll be taking my other cat, Oscar, to them next month for his surgery.

After a very bad experience with Petco Groomers, we were looking for a new groomer but were very apprehensive. After purchasing a new dog they recommended The Pet Hospital for Giovanni's care. We thought we would try it and were very happy we did. My son took his two dogs there upon our recommendation and was equally as happy. The girls were very friendly and the groomer listened to what we asked for. The price was just right also. (We also met an old friend who took his two dogs there and he said he liked the Pet Hospital above all other places he had used before). Our puppies have found a home.

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I like that they will give you advice over the phone on whether or not you need to come in. Also, they try to give you the same vet for follow-up visits so there is continuity of care. No nickle-and-diming. No scare tactics. The treatments are straight-forward and always seem to work. They genuinely care about your pet.

I've been going here for almost 25 years with all of my malamutes. over the past Year or so this place has gone to the dumps they're always trying to push medicine on you. more payments And just basically trying to make a quick dollar off of you. I am currently looking for a new vet because of my past experiences in the last month I paid almost $7000 to them for ACL surgery surgery and I am very very displeased they told me in the discharge paperwork that all post op checks in the next 12 weeks woukd be covered THIS IS NOT TRUE AS I WAS JUST CHARGED AGAIN TODAY!!! If you're looking for somewhere that you can trust do not go here stay away stay away stay away

The Pet Hospital is wonderful! We have been taking our dogs there for over 15 years. They took care of our dogs as if they were part of the family. One of our dogs actually loves to go there. He thinks everyone is there to play with him. Recently our Weimaraner nearly died of tetanus. It is so rare that I don't think most Vets would have even dx it. They treated him with love and tenderness and demonstrated their professionalism and knowledge. Everyone was so supportive! I love all the staff from the front desk to the Vets.Thanks for being there for us.
