SOLID 10/10 FRESHWATER FISH.It’s fish stores LIKE THIS that get you into the hobby of fish keeping, and keep you in the hobby. If you’re debating on stopping by this fish store, just do it. Make it first on your list.The employees are very knowledgeable and passionate about fish. A very kid friendly, family oriented atmosphere too. Stop by to show your 5 year old a giant pleco and puffer fish, or come alone to stock your tanks. Chris (the owner) is an honest guy, always eager to answer questions. He definitely makes you feel like there are no stupid questions.Expect to get a four part answer to any equipment/setup question you ask; the most expensive option, middle of the road option, the budget/diy option, and Chris’s personal perspective given the pros and cons of each. If you’re new to the hobby, this goes a long way. It’s easy to spend a lot of money in this hobby, but given the affordable prices on quality fish/equipment here and the priceless knowledge Chris gives out for free, it’s a great place to start.I’m in no way affiliated with fish world, I’m just appreciative of smaller businesses like this and the hard work I’ve seen every time I visit. Chris and his crew are always busy at work but make time for each and every customer. Chris is very knowledgeable and always willing to help. Before I found Fish World, I had trouble finding a reputable fish store with employees that were knowledgeable and had tons of experience. Chris is awesome. Probably the friendliest most helpful person I ever met at a fish store. He helped me pick out wood and put it together for my new tank! He can also do custom orders for you if you can’t find a certain product!

Always a great experience at Fish World. My sister and I have been going in every so often and we always end up leaving with something unique. Chris has an eye for spotting a great selection to fill his store with which is something not a lot do! He is always willing to answer questions as well, which is great because some shops you feel they get annoyed when you ask a lot, but Chris is always happy to help. Definitely check out the shop if you’re ever in the area. You won’t regret it!

This place is great! I don’t have to fight traffic to get to a fish store that has a good fish selection any more. Chris is awesome and always helpful. People are always in his shop and I bet they keep coming back. I have bought bichir, geo, congo tetra, ebjd, severums, roselines, etc. lots of variety and you never know what will be there week to week.

Just went here for the first time because they were the first non chain store open in the morning. Great little store with a few surprises hidden around and knowledgeable staff. Also great selection of harder to find fish at least in my experience thus far. Definitely going to be a regular.

Stopped by a few days ago just to check it out. Owner is very welcoming and friendly, he seems like the type of person that cares more about quality and the well-being of the fish rather than making a quick profit. Inquired about future aquarium maintenance/service. Will definitely stop by again soon. Never a bad thing to have another fish store in town!

I had a really great experience getting some fish for my son's fish tank here today! The owner was super friendly and helpful, he talked me through all the different options and gave me pointers. Fish are healthy, great selection, and prices are also pretty great. I highly recommend this fish shop!

Chris is the best! It also helps that he's got a great price on RO water and I also love his fish selection. My kids love his axolotl and I love the large fish in his store. I'll likely end up buying a handful of big ones when I set up the next tank.If you're looking for an expert freshwater fish store, Fish World is the place to go.

The shop owner was amazing and very helpful with all my questions about my tanks. I went in specifically to see guppies and out of all the shops I've been too, this place definitely tops all. He had many types of guppies including my favorite, fancy long tailed guppies. Thank you for all the help. I highly recommend this store! I will be back!
