they had exactly what i was looking for and plenty of those items. the parking was a bit difficult and this store was on the smaller side compared to others but it works. it's pretty organized and there was enough staff for the lines not to get backed up. i liked how there were two entrances but it must be tough on the crew.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE WHICH ACTUALLY CAME FROM A CASHIER NAMED MAYA!! (CLAIMED TO BE MANAGER)heres my story I came into the store to make an exchange for a "defective item" May I clarify that I called earlier before coming back into the store.. to ask if they would consider doing the exchange and a guy answer who told me I could try and come and see what they said.... But I told him I wanna know if they gonna exchange it for sure or not because I wasn't gonna make the trip back to the store so they can just tell me no! So he nicely passed me to a manager/ or supervisor. (Not sure) . Who was completely professional and super nice I explained the situation and let her know 2 of the items purchased a few hrs ago were defective and told her I had obviously opened them and attempted to use them as in this case u cant tell wether the product works or not unless you actually use it...she understood & say not to worry about it to come and they will exchange it. I decided to wait till after work to go do the exchange. So I came in very nicely and the cashier who was there happens to be the same lady who actually sold me the items I proceeded to tell her about the situation and she(MAYA) right away stopped me without letting me finish saying they couldn't exchanged it because the items were opened. So I asked if she could get the manager please and she said she was the manager in charge right...I told her I specifically called prior to coming back into the store to make sure this wouldn't happen. MAYA gave me so much attitude as if I was lying or something.....I couldnt really even continue to explain myself....when She's all like just go get them!!!!... I just went to get them and kept quiet. But it was bothering me a lot especially the way she kinda was trying to assume that I was lying. So I got the items then got back in line.....I got the 2 which i was doing the exchange for and decided to buy 2 more ..... Finally im up next.... She rudely asked me "SO UR PURCHASING TWO MORE ON TOP OF THESE!!" OK BY THIS TIME i was very bothered I asked her if she knew who I spoke with earlier. And she was like no I dont. So I asked her well how many managers do you have? And who was here at 452PM when I called. She's like I wouldn't be able to tell you. I was like but u have been here all this time. Who's in charge of answering the phones? She was LIKE I don't know.... Everyone!!! ... So then she had the audacity to freaken tell me "can you just pay me for ur stuff so u can move on now?! " I chuckled in disbelief and was like "ohhh really? " That was in front of all these people! That did it I was done with her. I proceeded to tell her she really should not be working customer service because apparently she don't like her job. That's no way of talking to customers. So i decided to turn on my camera to take her picture then I recorded her. IT WASNT FOR ME BEING MAD ID PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BURST OUT LAUGHING AT WHAT SHE DID Nreceiptis Asking her again what's her name and who she was... .. And all of the sudden she went from calling herself the manager to just a regular cashier REAL QUICK! I WISH I WE WERE ABLE TO POST VIDEOSbut of course without any disrespect I told her to have a great night!! This is not going unseen im make sure it gets to coorporation. I jad never felt so disrespected. Let me also say ive been here mutliple time never really had any issues just in and out real quick but then also this is the first time i actually needed to do an exchange on the items. So they claim OPEN ITEMS MAY NOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED. But looking into their receipt i cannot find anything stating that! It dloes say something about returns and exchange with receipts only within a certain time. I saved the receipt but cant find it at the moment! understand return policies as ive been working retail for 10years and i respect it. But all return policies should clearly be stated on the printed receipt.

I always think the staff here are super nice and sweet. They are always stocked well. But only once I seen a female manager being super rude with a client she was very rude accommodating a client and definitely over reacted.

Pretty amazing. I wanted to put up a message center in my kitchen. Found everything I needed for a very reasonable price. They have everything including food. I will go back again for all my DIY projects.

This store used to be cleaner than what I saw when I was there! So glad management changed the entire selection of greeting cards which is why the rating gets 3 stars 🌟. 99 Cents Only Stores management, please focus on cleaning store.8/30/22I went to the 99 Cents Only Store in the Norwalk Town Square and yes it has changed. Management do read the postings of the customers and I will say, "job well done "! 👏🏽 The store is more organized and clean!Also, I couldn't believe that the heavy duty clear plastic spoons and forks are still priced at 99 cents 😀 These are the best spoons and forks ever! High prices have affected a lot of what we buy these days but a big "Thank You" to the 99 Cents Only Store for not raising the price on the heavy duty clear spoons and forks! My 2nd rating this time is 5 stars 🌟.

The cashier was rude. My family and I entered without a face mask because we're vaccinated. Approached 2 employees and asked them if we were required to still wear the face mask. They both told us no. Keep in mind there were multiple people without their face masks on . Some employees even had theirs under their chin. Yet a cashier wanted to be rude and telling us that we're required to wear one, and wanted me to force my child to wear it. When I had tried to tell him that 2 employees had told us we didn't have to wear it he went ahead and made a snarty comment. All I was trying to clarify was that we were informed wrong but he wanted to go off. We decided to leave. I just hope employees are taught better in a matter to approach people instead of giving unnecessary comments and going off, especially in front of my children.

I went to this stupid store and bought a kectup and the price said $1.29 and they try to charge me $1.30 on food and I asked why you charge 1 penny and the cashier told me if I was on food stamps stupid question state doesn't charge taxes on cold food I just left I guess 99 cents doesn't work anymore charging sales tax on cold food.

I normally like the selection and the variety of things this particular store has but today the service sucked. I guess now that we bring our own reusable bags that means that we have to bag our own stuff while trying to pay and putting our stuff back in our purses/wallets while the cashier is already pushing the next customers things into your stuff because you'r not finished doing these things. Meanwhile holding the receipt up to your face while watching you trying to get all of this done. Thanks for the help!

I used to go into this store all the time, plenty of employees to keep lines short, now it's just 1 or 2 cashiers all day long, lines are super long and management doesnt do anything to get more people on the registers. They really need to make some big changes here otherwise they will lose customers...

Horrible customer service! If you live in Norwalk you should know to not waste your time in this run down beat up 99 cent store. Norwalk and imperial way cleaner and more polite cashiers.Hiring kids don’t help. Sergio to lazy to get receipt paper closed his line and cancelled me out and told me to go wait in line at another register without taking to consideration I waited already the whole line. Instead he said it’s only 3 other people in that register. Smh! Never again

Do not shop here this store has had several of its associates test positive for covid 19!!! The sad part is that they never Sent a cleaning crew or had any type of proper disinfection of the store. How is this allowed!! Shame on you trying to hide this !! Putting associates and customers at risk! This company is a joke!! I will Make sure that the county health inspectors find out about this cover up.

I love the store but dealing with crazy homeless people starting trouble every time I ho there, & begging for money its Scarry for me I'm elderly 70 years old I don't need to deal with this its DANGEROUS.. I'll go to the one at Norwalk Square they don't have those issues there

My friend went their yesterday to look for a specific item and she said the manager was rude and told her to go back in the morning to get it so she sent me. I also was given rude treatment and the manager just left while I was still asking questions. I ended up getting what I needed at dollar tree. Way better service.

A good stock of items, there are few other locations better stocked than this one. The lines can be long but there are some great staff here. Overall the staff have been nice and friendly.

The products they sell are surprisingly good.Although alot of homeless people that stink up the place go there, it's a really good store.You can count on them for party supplies,snacks,even on the go things.They really have a great selection of products, although some employees are rude and don't care,that won't affect my review on the store that almost raised me.
