About a week ago I brought my dog over for a bath and trim. I had specific requests that were not done. However, my sister-in-law recommended this place and has been going here for years until her dog got cancer. So I was willing to give it a chance but never again. A few days after the grooming my wife went to brush our puppy since she gets matted easily and found cotton swabs in my dogs ears. They had been sitting there for days!! If my wife had not brushed we would have never caught on to this irresponsibility on behalf of the groomers at Bone sweet Bone. My puppy also had a rash and was scabbing all over the place. I called to make a complaint of a cotton swab stuffed in my puppy ear for a few days and the front desk said they would call the owner and see if I could get this sorted and a refund. About an hour later I get a call from Santiago the owner who is apologizing and blaming it all on inexperienced staff and new groomers who started 4 months ago. I even stated that the day before we had brought our puppy for daycare and the girl let my dog run all the way out without even considering if the door was open or another dog was there. Again Santiago proceeded to blame Inexperienced workers. Then when I asked for a refund his tone quickly changed and said we do not refund for things like this. This was an accident and it was after the fact. So he proceeded to say he would return the money but wanted to know who told me that I could get a refund. It comes to show his management style and how he wanted to correct more the loss of money than the situation at hand. For the few months I have been coming here the turnaround has been continuous. New staff every month and I can tell why they are leaving. His way of apologizing when I told him I did not need the money; was to discount me $10 on the next visit. I will not be coming back! Neither will my sister in law .This place is quantity over quality. Do not bother responding to me Santiago. That humble apology you have been giving everyone has gotten old and we are tired of it. I noticed you love to sound genuine in your apologies over bad reviews but just a week ago someone else in your Studio City location had the same issue! You do not like to fix the issue you reprimand with no true training for staff. I do not blame them I blame you! This was not the first bad grooming visit with my puppy that went bad it is the third and we are out.

My poor little dog needed surgery. While I was waiting for the results of the examination, I wandered next door to a clean and welcoming new pet grooming shop and daycare/spa.Bone Sweet Bone - 5302 Vineland Bl. (just south of Chandler Bl.)I was greeted by a very sweet receptionist who was wiping off an already clean counter. She heard my story, and she made an appointment for when I go back to have my baby's stitches out. More to come later...

Took my dog for grooming. My dog doesn’t like to be groomed and he can be difficult to work with. But Santiago at bone sweet bone was willing to work with my pup. I highly recommended them for grooming. He did a great job and had patience. Additional they have reasonable prices. I will definitely use their other services as well. I’m so happy I found a great groomer willing to work with my dog. Can’t recommend them enough!

My dog is my baby and I am very particular about who I leave her with. That being said… I feel totally comfortable leaving my dog at Bone Sweet Bone. My dog has a bit of anxiety and I worried about leaving her overnight with strangers but every time I pick her up she seems so happy, and not a desperate happy because I’m there to pick her up but I real “I had a great time playing with my dog friends happy”. Would definitely recommend

Any location is always a great experience. First time at NH and they did such a great job. Thanks for always keeping my girl smelling fresh!

They are restricted against certain breeds for doggie daycare. So if you have a Pitt Bull, cane Corso, rottie, or other large dog, they will not accommodate you. They will take them for grooming though.

There is a reason they have expanded, their love and care for the animals they watch and groom is obvious.
