I was very impressed with the staff today at the Morongo Valley location. Both cashiers were very helpful and respectful with all the customers especially the older disabled customers. Shane went out of his way to help an elderly disabled lady. I was very impressed.

Went to the store today to get some top ramen ask the cashier where the top ramen was, the cashier was very rude and said the store didn't have any. But the other cashier that was working there politely told me that there was top ramen and told me where it was. The rude cashier that didn't give me the proper information needs to be retrained for his position.

This Dollar General surprised me! it actually had some really cute clothes for sale and the staff was super helpful. I had received a mylar balloon for Christmas (baby Trump balloon! 😀😂) & the workers were extremely helpful in helping to figure out the best way to blow up the balloon (it was a little difficult to figure out). They did not charge us and they even gave us a string and some weights and we're just so super great.

The employees that have been working there steadily and are consistent, Bethany and Deborah they are awesome! But that one bad attitude, rude, and lacks customer service skills employee can just make the whole shopping experience ugly. Very rude, bad attitude, and someone who just does not give you that friendly, courteous, welcoming, great customer service feeling, is employee, Natalie. She is the overly weighted and mis-proportioned female, that is fairly new working at this location. The bad attitude, and lack of any customer service skills is not common to exper to the other employees who are respectable and polite.

Wonderful layout and plenty of candy just in time for Valentine's Day! This store is very clean and the aisles are pretty clear. The staff greeted me as I walked in the door and were so very helpful. The cashier was extremely pleasant and warm. They have a huge variety of stock here from food to candy to towels to everyday items. Easy on and off from 62. Plenty of parking. I highly recommend this store for a quick stop or lengthy shopping trip. Lots of cute kids toys and games all under 10 bucks. Great store.

Walk up 7 minutes to close and “Emily” locks the door as she makes eye contact with me, tells me they’re closed. How are you going to have hours that close at 10pm and close the doors early? doesn’t make any sense. I guess the manager of this store likes losing out in money, bad business, Emily.

I'm going to say since the opening of this Dollar General and it's been very well for the locals and travels through on Highway 62. Reasonable prices variety of selections. From food to household goods. Personal hygiene and over the counter medicines. Gift cards seasonable items such a garden and Recreation seasonal. Two restrooms and handicapped access with handicap parking. Nice employees so if you don't want to travel far or you forgot something on the way it's a good place to stop and pick it up it's probably has what you're looking for right there, razor blades toothpaste, snacks and much more.

Worst $general ever ...out of everthing...whoever does the ordering there needs to be fired...i can go up too yucca..or down too dhs $gen n they are stocked shelves are empty in morongo

I had to dodge boxes and crates and flatbed full of freight. Seems there is not enough staff to work on freight. I walk up to register to checkout and the employee is no where to be found. I literally have to yell, anyone home? There is easy access to just walk out with merchandise. Door is right there. I love that we have a Dollar General in Morongo Valley. I will always shop here. Need more staff.

Adam was ringing up customers and still checked if they had decaf coffee. It was Busy but he still took the time so Adam gets 5 stars for good customer service so if you go there ask ask Adam if you have questions he is the bomb

Is as it always is with these look alike stores it's dime a dozen products portrayed to be a bargain only if one were to compare items from there to reg stores youd find that these products are usually modified from the average product size and amount then offered as the same. and then the new price is now in essence not a good deal. Shame on you American corporations. Your greed will be one of the main causes to the downfall of our economy and our way of life.

All employees are helpful and certious. Inventory is always well stocked. They are open until 10:00pm. every day. Easy parking. Clean restrooms available to the public.

Thos is one of my favorite places to get household things or little knick knacks here and there, I love that they have cheap build it yourself furniture pieces, I have two entry tables I got from them that were easy to assemble and are high quality!

Mini-Walmart styled store is like a Target with basic, useful home items. They had low traffic on a weekday afternoon, and so it was a convenient brisk experience, shopping here for supplies at low prices. Stock up on snacks and dairy, and there are popular household brands available.

When the store opened it was very welcome because it's a great place to get all the little things you can't get anywhere else in town and they were open till 11 pm. Those benefits for me somewhat outweigh the fact that this store is a big ugly disgusting looking box that sticks out like a sore thumb and bears no resemblance to the folksy Western nature of surrounding architecture. The store is an eyesore and I wish they had had the decency and since of community involvement to build a building that was architecturally appealing and not set a precedent for making Highway 62 a bunch of strip malls with no class no personality and no appeal. We would be far better off looking like Joshua Tree than the Yucca Valley. but the store served a purpose. However now they've cut back their hours and they're closed at 10. Not such a good thing anymore. As I sit outside the store after 10 p.m. writing this review four other cars of pulled into the parking lot equally disappointed to find the joint closed.

Pro: Ricky, Charlie, Keilah, and the young lady with the blue highlights(bottom layer) are always a pleasure to be assisted by.Con: Sometimes the prices on the shelves are wrong. Rotating promotions as often as they do is quite difficult in its own right though.

Purchased 2 dog toys - 3 dollars each2 plastic rulers - 1 dollar for 21 dozen eggs - 2.303 12-packs diet dr pepper - 10 dollars for 3The total somehow was 29 dollars.Should have been 19 if yo do the math.Had to attempt to explain and fix. Only got 6 of the 9ish dollar difference...before i decided the 3 dollars wasnt worth my time.Check your receipt here...

No room to walk . there's a table on the isle entrance that's a safety hazard. Also whats the point of making a line if they going to take the nxt person that gets in linexwhile im waiting therr for 5mn. Thats customer service. Theclady with no name tag. Saw me cus she had to vouch for someone buying a cigar without id isnt that illegal. No id no sell. Ig they can do what they want
