Be careful with some of the “Designer” items in the runway section. A lot of these items get returned to the official stores then TJ Maxx buys overstock or off season designer stuff to sell. We purchased the YSL handbag for $1,899 and went to get it authenticated. Turned out the bag was a high quality fake. When I went to return it the employees were not surprised..

First time there I was so happy I saw name brands luxury purses etc omg I was in heaven told my husband taking him tomorrow!! He laughed Because he knows I am buying a name brand item lol!! Staff was friendly on the floor asked if I need help etc!!

My friend and I were feeling a little funny so we decided to walk around a TJ Maxx. I can't even tell you the last time I've been in a TJ Maxx! I don't really shop that much anymore, and honestly the way the news talks about how millennials are killing everything. I didn't expect to see a TJ Maxx that's thriving, but this one surely doesn't seem to be having any problems. We walked through the entire store, and there were people on almost every single aisle. After a while, my friend and I did realize that we were going to water bottle for our trip to Disneyland with our performance group, but we didn't see a bottle that would be small enough for the trip. Not to say that we didn't find a lot of bottles or even extremely cute bottles! There was a bottle that looked perfect for any beyoncé fan. I can't imagine I wouldn't return here if there was something that I randomly needed.

We were accused of stealing while in the store then a white lady had the courage to follow us out the store and then said we better not be stealing 😡😡😡

I opened a new tjmaxx account at the store in 09/12/2022 and when I received the card by mail, I checked my bill and I found 3 extra transactions made in an other state (total $460). I called but the tjmaxx customer service report the card as stolen or lost. I have the card but the fraud is inside the company. Be ware and check your bill carefully.

As TJ Maxx chain stores go, this one is above average for cleanliness, helpfulness of the staff, etc. The selection seems a little lacking but not bad. And Moraga is not a heavily traveled location, so it's not like it's overcrowded store.

The store needs to organize their clothes. The clothes are all over the place nothing's organized not even the size Notting the type of design of clothing. I don't shop for clothes here. And I feel the clothes are low quality ridiculous styles. TJ Maxx you need to improve your store you're becoming like Ross stores

This TJ Maxx was the best experience I received in retail. From the greeter, other associates who helped when purchasing jewelry. The Store Manager was so friendly with my aunt and I. Thank you for the great experience!!!

Two days ago I bought several items and went away with one bag, assuming everything was included. When I unpacked a day later I found the small items - cosmetics- were not in the bag. I just called and the manager I talked to, Miriam, knew the bag had been left, who the checker was, located the bag and offered to drop it by my house in Berkeley on her way home. That is terrific service.

I went to the store recently and noticed some shoppers' face mask only covers the mouth not the nose. People in the aisle are too close to each other.There are two check out lines and can not tell which one is correct. Different employee gives different instruction. Why can't store post a clear sign?Also sometimes no one near the entrance to supervise the situation. I saw the person used same paper towel to clean six shopping carts. It's not safe to shop there during the pandemic.

This TJ Maxx has always been one of my top shops as my go to because they are the only ones I know who stock High Designer Lines such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Prada and the prices are superb. The store was low on stock in comparison to usual for obvious reasons however I was still very happy with their selections. I highly recommend checking this spot out if you have never been here before and you are a frequent TJ Maxx shopper

Not just that I am an employee (3yrs this April) but our manager is a great human being. He adds the human factors into his managing. And my district manager is the best. He really cares about us and it shows. This will cause the employee to be the best to our customers. This is my experience.

SO rude. I am a high risk individual and they have a sign posted on their door saying effective June 23rd they have special hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays for seniors and those at high risk. I waited out front and waved my hands to get the employees inside. One of the employees (an African American woman) gave me a dirty look and asked if I couldn’t read the sign. I pointed and explained that the sign right in front of my face stated Tuesdays and Thursdays opening for at risk and seniors is @9am.She bluntly stated (after rolling her eyes) that SHE will open the store @ 9:30. She then proceed to go in the store and laugh with other employees and point to us.I felt disrespected. I will never return to this store.

I have lived in Moraga for 22 years, but sadly I only recently (approx 2 years ago) appreciated its.....existence and inventory! Great selection of mens' clothing and accessories which changes every 2 months or so. Also great choices of brand name luggages too. Thank God for such a nice place right in my town. Not to forget the friendly and helpful staff.

I go to TJ Maxx about five times a year but my annual mid November trip is when I upgrade all of our ski clothing, they have great selection that is added to daily in the buildup to winter. I purchased a one piece Spyder lined powder suite for $125 that should have run in the $500+ range. Best purchase ever with all the deep POW over the last few years, I also purchased umpteen pairs of ski pants and jackets for myself and the family. I usually donated them as the kids grow and purchase new sets the next November... Have a great day!

TJ Maxx has been my favorite place to shop for years, however, I have been disappointed in the last year. It seems that the quality of merchandise has diminished -- I visit often and buy nothing. The staff is friendly and helpful, but understaffed. The check-out line often has 8-10 people. What happened?

On a number of occasions I have had very positive experiences with Ross Cameron, a worker at the TJMAXX Rheem, CA store. He is pleasant, enthusiastic, helpful and personable. He helped tract down another kayak just before Christmas because we wanted to buy two and the store only had one of the item we wanted. He took quite a bit of time helping us locate and call re: holding the item for us for pick up. It's experiences like this that makes a person take a little extra time to acknowledge the special treatment with an on-line review. Of all the TJ Maxx, this is probably the best location in the SF Bay Area per my wife's recent multiple visits in this last year. She visits this location TJ while at Massage Envy (another great place for women) at least once a month.It is always clean, they have dual-bathrooms, fully stocked where they seem to have new things come in weekly; I enjoy the kitchen aisle (not much man stuff at TJ's), but this store has more Man Stuff than say the Pinole location, with actually clothing, sports chairs, coolers, wallets, underwear, ties, belts, to random electronics.For the women, they have it all: luggage, traveling stuff, bathroom towels, workout clothing and weights, various chairs and tables, candles, décor for the walls, picture frames, lighting, pet stuff, lotions soaps and conditioners, and of course multiple aisles of women clothing, purses, jewelry (guys beware: women pay separate in this area - 2 bills on the credit card), shoes, to even designer name brand shoes (we have seen Gucci, Channel, Jimmy Cho), where for example today, my wife bought a pair for $59 Italian leather shoes, where in an outlet boutique store that once was opened in Tiburon (called Citrus) would have this same pair of shoes for $150+, proves that TJ will eventually Maxx out your wife's credit cards with great deals....….because it is not what your wife spends at TJMaxx, but what she saves, and at TJMaxx, your wife will save plenty.
