This is my favorite place to buy all of our meats! We drive over whenever we can just to stock up and try new things. Everything so far has been delicious, and everyone here has been curteous during each of our visits. People complaining about someone looking mean need to understand that not everyone needs to have an unnerving "salesman smile" to be a sweetheart. These folks work hard and I sincerely appreciate the existence of their high-quality shop!!

I have the same experience with the counter lady mentioned in other reviews. The owner is wonderful and friendly. I stopped going because in my 20+ visits to this store the attending woman makes me feel so bad about the experience of shopping there. She chastens me for not knowing the products yet does not educate a customer. I was not aware of the variety of dog foods there because she never told me. I wanted the chopped dog food I saw advertised. I went through 20 questions asking for the specific name of the chopped meat blocks where she took the opportunity to belittle me. There is only one chopped meat block available - but you better know its name if you want it! Then she told me I had to order three days ahead because she had to cut the blocks and I had to book a specific pick up time … without letting me know other food was for sale. She is not happy on that desk. If you want an entertaining afternoon dealing with a difficult person though, go in and act extremely polite and just stand there waiting to be acknowledged. She is great at making you invisible.

We came on a Sunday. It was a little busy with customers picking up orders. We came specifically for some sausages and raw pet food. The workers/staff there were welcoming and informed us that there are two different sheets (white for pets, and the green for all the items they do carry). I ended up getting some wild boar and elk sausages for us and ground whole cornish hen and rabbit for my cats. This is the first time my cats eating raw from Harmony Farms but I know they will enjoy it. Will definitely coming back regardless!p.s. the reviews about the front lady being mean and unwelcoming is weird. Because she was so nice to us and guide us through everything! Do visit them! Highly recommended it

There was street parking everywhere, this place is a dream come true! High quality meat with an amazing selection! Many different types of beef, pork and lamb, they also have some unique selections like turkey sausages, duck, elk, venison etc…We cooked the lamb we bought today and we loved it so much!!The owner was so nice that he helped us do a butterfly cut and even gave us some tips on how to cook it!There were some really cute paintings and decorations in the store too!

Yesterday I went to harmony farms for the first time and the old white lady sitting at the register never said a word to me or my daughter. I had questions regarding some of the meat but because she never said anything to us I just bought 1 item. As we were checking out the butcher came out and was very friendly. I would have spent more money if the old women would have been friendly.

So happy this place exists!!! They sell blood pudding sausage (Boudin Noir) which taste exactly like the one I remember from my childhood in Switzerland!!! Bought a bunch of different kinds of meat and they are all so fresh and tasty!!!!! Regardless to say: I am a BIG fan!!! The customer service was exceptional; there aren’t that many stores anymore where the owners take the time to talk with customers… It needs to be appreciated. Thank you Harmony Farms!!!!!!

This is my first time coming here. I drove all the way from Long Beach because I wanted meat that doesn’t have all the antibiotics and stuff like that. They have everything in here plus more like elk and buffalo meat. Frog legs and they even sell healthy meat for your pets. Everyone in there is so nice. I can’t wait to cook up some steaks! So happy😃

This place is the best for hunters to drop off their big game for processing and small game to be made into sausage and other goodies! I have dropped off 3 pigs and a deer here (and more recently an elk), and they did a wonderful job of getting the most out of the meat and giving us a variety of options. I would HIGHLY recommend the chorizo or the jalapeño cheddar sausage.

Great place to buy meat cut to order. Also, especially good for those of us who cook for our pets as they have lots of meat in organs that you can't get elsewhere as well as raw food blends for your dog. Friendly service. Usually parking. No issue

Absolutely delicious fresh Turkey with amazing taste! We moved to AZ a few years ago and was in the CA for one day. Their customer service was fantastic as always! It was great to see Jean and Sonny again and spoke with Trudy on the phone to help coordinate. Please ask them to help you with any type of meat you might need. They're the experts and will provide options to best fit your needs.

I will keep coming to this place as they have a great selection and the head butcher is so nice and knows his stuff. But man, a disaster of a layout in the store. Freezers and counters going every which way make it hard to stand and not be in others way. Not very customer focused at all.

Brought a deer in for processing and was pleased with the packaging and labeling, with weight of the different cuts. The venison chorizo is pretty good, get a little of that made... I've been cutting my own for most of my hunting life. What an easy alternative this was. Very fair price. .

Sonny and sons take great care to provide high quality grass fed meat and excellent poultry. They are a true butcher shop where you can go and say "I want to make beef stew for 8 guests." They'll come out with just the right amount, and it's always delicious. Have ordered our turkeys, corned beef every year there for 12 years! Excellent! Saturday and Sundays they have the best tamales. Get there quick, because they go quickly.

The only place I can find Bison burgers at a decent price. I'm not a regular meat eater, but when I get the craving, I always shop here. It's organic, fresh, and family owned. Everything a butcher shop should be. They also have a wide variety of exotic meats. And a variety of exotic burger patties, like ostrich, What? And don't forget the tamales on the weekend.

I buy my dog food, bones and dog treats here. My dogs are super healthy and love the food. It is cheaper than the Frozen raw food at Petco and so much better. They have a great selection for people to eat as well, with some fairly exotic stuff available as well. Highly recommended.

Brought them a deer to be processed, and they did an awesome job. Their fee is very reasonable, and they have plenty of options in terms of cuts and styles of meat. They also gave good recommendations on what to do with the deer. Processing time was just under two weeks, and all the meat came packaged, weighed, and labeled. They are a great option if you are a hunter in the Los Angeles area.

We go there all the time for their Pet Mix, but also get great sausages, bacon, and other meats. They carry a huge variety of exotic meat in addition to the usual. Everything comes frozen, which is nice because I don't have to think about using it right away!

When I was growing up, my dad always shopped for any meat we were going to eat at our local meat shop. That place has since gone. I've always been weird about buying meat and fish from local grocery stores. Then I found Harmony Farms! This is now my go to meat shop! They have literally any kind of meat you can want. From Bison to Elk to Alligator to Frog legs and chicken. They have a lot of meats frozen and ready to buy or if you need something really fresh just ask and they will cut it up for you. I will not buy meat from any other store anymore. The owners are absolutely great to deal with. They even do turkeys for Thanksgiving and Christmas, just sign up and bam! And if you are planning a big party and need a lot of meat, you can call in your order early and schedule to pick it up when you're ready. Harmony Farms is hands down the best shop that I have been to. And their pricing is very reasonable.

Good selection of organic chicken, beef, and pork. Homemade tamales on the weekends. New Zealand and Australian lamb. Also Buffalo, venison, wild boar, occasionally alligator and snake meat. Excellent service and knowledge. I took away one star because on occasion I found packages that were imperfectly sealed.

Friendly Cashier. Best place to buy exotic meats your looking for ! The one I like so far and tried out is Buffolo steak. If u know how to season it right and put butter on that Buffalo and steam some potatoes and mash them with herbs with spices and a little bit of salt its fire ! One last thing, Buffalo has a gamey flavor to it. If u try these u won't be disappointed. I forgot to say don't forget to add honey glazed Teriyaki sauce to it. Or whatever your taste buds can handle. U can find the sauce at Ralph's or Trader Joes!

It's the real thing: a mom 'n pop establishment. I'm there weekly for their raw pet food and I'm always treated well. Sonny asks after my critters and we have a friendly chat. The raw food menu has a great variety so the fur kids never get bored. I was worried the switch to raw would break the bank, but Harmony's prices are really reasonable. It's made a huge difference as far as health and digestive issues for the kids, too. I'll be coming here for good!

After being a vegetarian for 13 years, I returned to life as an omnivore for health reasons. Mainly, I needed to consume high quality animal protein. I tried various meat markets in L.A. only to be disappointed each and every time, until someone suggested Harmony Farms. At first I was hesitant. I heard that the prices are a bit steeper than your average supermarket but I dipped my toe into the water, and purchased chicken thighs. Oh molly miss golly, as the old folks used to say back in the day. I was blown away by the taste, and by the quality of their products. Every Thanksgiving, we get the whole chicken, and for special out of town guests, we've gotten the turkey. I'm not a big turkey fan but theirs are awesome. We've gotten amazing beef, from Waygu and Kobe to regular ole chuck beef. We've gotten various kinds of saugages, ground meat, turkey bacon, soup stock bones and even salmon, though fish is a limited item. Regardless of what we've tried, the end product is always spectacular. Clean and tasty. Haven't tried the ostrich, deer, rabbit, bison, or iguana yet but their diverse selection keeps me coming back. Recently, friends purchased a whole pig for a luau, and after the feast I scrounged up all the bones and made the best out of this world pork broth for ramen. Before this, pork was my least favorite animal to eat; now, I'm craving the pork broth. As for the customer service, most of the people who work in this family owned business are really cool, and interesting to talk with. They'll even give you wonderful cooking tips and recipes. Just be warned, during the holidays this place can be swamped with customers but just relax and enjoy knowing that what you bring home will provide you and your loved ones high quality yummy tasting sustenance. This is a no-brainer. Walk yourself into Harmony Farms and try something. I guarantee you'll be back for more.

I was here last month and I shall be returning very soon. They had the selection I was looking for. I was impressed. Although they didn’t carry certain cuts of meat. The nice lady told me to call in advance to see if it would be available. The prices were within reach.Yay!!!

DO NOT GO HERE! Dangerous! Pathetic health and safety standards. Sold us a completely ROTTEN brisket. Claiming “freshest you’ll find” (lied about being from the US)Complete liars: Slap stickers on the products that say “Harvested in US”. The meats are from out of country!I’ve seen employees have coughing fits without masks on while handling meat (which doesn’t bother me but I’m sure others don’t appreciate that)More than half the products purchased from them were rotten. Absolutely pathetic company!
