I’ve only been to the Del Monte shopping mall like twice before this experience, and I’ve never had such a bad experience with retail workers. I went into the Macy’s looking for a hello kitty plushy because I saw a worker with a plushy, and she said it was from upstairs I went upstairs, and, I saw one and when I was asking the lady about it, she talked to me in a rude tone, saying it’s on hold No, I wouldn’t be mad if she talks to me in a respectful way, Then, five minutes later, I saw this cup that looked like a Stanley, but I knew it wasn’t and I went up to it and the guy by the register said to me in a rude tone it’s not a Stanley When I didn’t even speak to him. I am really disappointed with my experience over there today.

Fascinating department stores that contains eve Trung you would look for . Fancy and top brand names of clothing , absolutely stunning bedding and huge collections of kitchenware. Highly recommend this place plus they totally have excellent customer service

Customer service at the jewelry counter was superb. The gentleman behind the counter was knowledgeable about every item especially Rolex watches. I never seen a person who really loves watches and what they do as much as I saw it with him. Thank you for assisting my mom and I.

On 10/17/23 Went to this Macys to return some shoes. .Not even 8:30pm and already had all Doors closed.I was on first floor where they have customer service.Elder lady Just kept on staring at me.Never even bother to point to where there was an opened door.I ended up on second floor .Lady was already locking Doors.She didnt want to let me inn.Finally she did after i told her i was coming from first floor and that it wasnt even 9:00pm and already had all Doors closed.

We had just a terrible time trying to spend money here. I was planning on buying a suit, a sportscoat with slacks and shoes for my wife. I looked through the men's suits for nearly an hour and never could find someone to help me. Everything was out of sorts. I finally gave up and went to the Levi's area and found some Dockers with absolutely no help from anyone. No one even acknowledged my presence. I took my pants to the checkout station and he was very nice. I had planned to spend $600-$700 and spent $35 insteadI can get better service on the internet, maybe that is their plan. I feel like their brick and mortar stores don't care anymore.

On Aug 17, I went to the store and purchased an item. Because they did not have the right size, it was to be shipped to me by UPS. I received a notice of delivery on the 24th, but there was no item at my front door. I filed a claim for an undelivered item with "customer service" which they rejected in 24 hours. I contacted the store manage and upon explaining the situation, he said he would contact the "order/Logistics" office. After a few minutes, he called and said I need to contact "logistics" and they would either give me a refund or send me another item. He provided the same number as the "customer service" which I had called previously. Upon calling "customer service", they said they have no idea where the "logistics" office is and whether I wanted to have the case reconsidered which was contrary to what the store manager had told me. I called the store manager explaining what had been going on, and he said I should have told them I wanted a refund which was counter-intuitive for if they were going to issue me a refund in the first place, they would not have rejected my claim. Ironically, while talking with the manager, a neighbor brought the package. which was mistakenly delivered to her.Apparently, there is communication problem at Macy's.Furthermore, I paid $370 for the item only to realize that it was offered online for $210. I would stay away from this store.

I just went to try on a pair of shoes. I waited around the register/doorway they get the shoes from for a while. Then I saw an employee at a different register (still in the shoe department ) chatting with a non-employee (maybe her bf, maybe just a friend). I asked the young lady if I could try on my size and she said no, she’s in a different department and turned her back to chat with her friend. I said, “Excuse me, there’s no one here. Can you ask someone to come over?” She pointed to the handbag department and said “She’s with someone right now, but she’ll be back.” So I said, “So she’s in the handbag department and there’s no one in the shoe department, but you.” I was confused. Then 2 other customers came and asked me if there was anyone in the shoe department. I said, “Just her, but apparently she can’t help because she’s in a different department.” They said, “We don’t have time for this.” I agreed and we all left. I still don’t understand how an employee in the shoe department can’t help with shoes, but I’m supposed to wait for the employee in the handbag department to help with shoes. Too bad this employee is wasting time and Macy’s money chatting away so Macys is losing business. I recommend hiring people who try to be helpful and provide better training.

Had to get a few items for a wedding.Pants Shirt 👕+ personals.I must have had a lost look on me.. Customer service was great.. helped me pick out a few items.Measurements.Made me feel special.Haven't been in a while.Highly recommended.Good atmosphere.People helping people dress better.

Man oh man how this place has gone down hill. Not asked if I needed help even though I passed about 8 Employees and even tried to ask a few for help. Selection has gone downhill. Won't be long before this place is gone.

Macy's World's slowest employees ! Been in line 30 minutes just to get a belt. Her and him on the other side are slower then molasses! I even have time to write this review!

Really hard to find help on the floor. In particular the furniture department. Took about 15 minutes for someone to come tell us the person for that department was at lunch for another 20 minutes. She was a helpful as she could be but still a wasted 50 minute drive.

This is a showpiece Macy's! Every department is fully stocked with merchandise displayed nicely. If you've been to some Macy's and the diarrayed clothes you know what I mean. Oh! AND the "Backstage" has sooo much stuff from every department at rock bottom prices. Next time you're in Monterey make this a stop and shop. Plus its next to a very nice mall.

Horrible customer service!Older woman clerk yelled from across the store " can I help you!" 5x with a look of disdain.She did it to my Granddaughter as well. Another blond female clerk literally ran into me as I walked into the cosmetic section. What is going on?! Did we not fit the demographic?I have never been treated so badly. Macys Del Monte get it together! Train your staff.

Broken elevator. Broken escalator. Handicap door does not open when prompted. Out of 2 fragrance products I was shopping for.I prefer to support brick and mortar businesses. Sorry to see Macy's decision to ignore this store.

Love this Macy's, 3 levels. Nice backstage section... You can always find amazing things. I do feel like they need to have a sign indicating where the restrooms are located. They have one in the kitchen section and the women's restrooms are on the third floor. Other than that it's a great store with everything you need....

So sad to see the once elevated Customer service gone from Macy's.We visited 2 times last week and purchased a suit and a sport coat. On the first visit I asked the cost of a random suit because the racks were in disarray and couldn't tell what %off went with which suit. The clerk promptly said you can go scan it over there and pointed 👉The second visit I knew the system and didn't ask for assist. When I proceeded to pay for the sport coat for our son (visit from Mi, taking to New Years Eve Dinner) the clerk was busy on the register, I apologized and stepped back as I thought he was waiting on the invisible man.He never looked up a second clerk beside him advised he was doing back office work.Special note: The attire we purchased were top brands and quality. The prices were 👍 too.
