I've been using this pharmacy,monthly, nearly three years. They have about a 10% success rate at getting prescriptions correct the the first time. The store manager was very kind and helpful at speaking with pharmacy staff once but nothing changed. Most recent, their policy is to hold prescription for 10 days. We returned from vacation at day 7. Prescription was returned to shelf and now not available without authorization. This is probably the final time and we will be seeking new pharmacy.

I used to frequent this Walgreen's with satisfactory experiences in the past, but my latest visit was a stark departure from those days. An unexpectedly lengthy and slow-moving line met me upon arrival, testing the patience of everyone present, including myself.Conversations among customers revealed a shared frustration over the wait times. Unfortunately, the staff seemed indifferent to our plight, perhaps a reflection of being short-staffed. There was a visible struggle to keep up with the workload, with staff members bouncing between tasks, and unfortunately, customer engagement suffered as a result.Communication with the pharmacy staff, especially during my interaction, was less than ideal. A greeting devoid of warmth and a voice so soft it bordered on a whisper did not set the tone for a positive experience.The pharmacy's ambiance did little to redeem the situation. With no distinct waiting area, customers were left to stand in aisles or near product displays, which did little to foster a welcoming environment or alleviate the discomfort of the long wait.Considering my previous satisfactory visits to both Walgreen's and Rite Aid, this experience was disenchanting. It seems that both establishments may not be immune to declining service standards.As I exited, the overwhelming sense was one of disappointment and the recognition that my choice to visit Walgreen's wasn't the best for that day. Listening to others' displeasure with longer waits only added to the sense of regret.In conclusion, this Walgreen's might once have met the mark, but based on this visit, it appears in need of significant improvements in customer service and operating efficiency. Would I recommend a friend or family member to come here? Only if there are no other reasonable options available. Here's to hoping for improvements in the near future.

The Pharmacy does a great job. They are always polite and they try to help everyone. There drive through can take long sometimes but it’s reasonable.

The pharmacy is unreliable and slow. If you can get through on the phone you are put on hold for even longer. The communication is lacking and stressful. In the last few months I've had to go days without my meds and/or only get a partial fill. I'm not sure what the issue is. It's not like these are a one time order. These are meds I have to take daily so how they can't keep these supplies in stock is crazy. These meds are common meds.I'll be switching pharmacies after today because I don't need this added stress.Maybe the pharmacy needs some training or upgrades to the system because it's broken and people rely on pharmacist to provide them their medicine in a timely fashion.Feb 2024

This place sucks, the service the employees give is just rude. You can asked them a question and they will ignore you or say let me ask someone and leave for 1 hours. And if it's not that they will disrespect. And it seems that some of the workers there may be under the influence of alcohol or dr*gs. I don't know how they can allow this type of behavior. And I wish I was exaggerating.

Possibly the worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. Twice now I’ve been notified that my parents prescriptions were ready, I waited in line for 25 minutes to be told they are ready but I can’t have one of them because the pharmacist is on break. If you can’t give me the prescription then they aren’t ready, don’t notify me they are. Waste of my time and yours.

Terrible experience here. Ordered several hundred photos through their printing service and wasn't informed all my photos would have a big white bar on them. Now I need to cut several hundred photos (and I need to cut them nicely, which is hard) AND they shoved a bunch of them into the box so now some of them are creased. Called and was told I was talking to the manager, but the manager isn't allowed to give refunds, so I need to call the store manager tomorrow.

My prescription was sent to this pharmacy by accident. The pharmacy staff does not answer the phone when it rings like the hold is over someone picks up and places back on hold. Without saying anything. Go to Dale rd where the staff is curtious to at least say please hold. They are also properly staffed to serve their community unlike this location. 9am on a Saturday 11/19 did not answer their phone for 20min. The lady who answered was very condescending and rude. Dale rd Walgreens everyone is sweet and kind.

Staff is hella rude. They follow you around every time you go in there. I have tattoos and they make me feel like I'm bein discrimination. Every Eisley I go down it's help on 4...help on 2..smh. I doordash so I go through this daily.....

I just went in to this Walgreens and oh it was the worse experience, no wonder they have so low rate. The employee are not considering, asked if I do have a mask when clearly I don't because i was not wearing one. I said no, i dont have one, she's well you need to wear a mask, can i get? No, you have to purchase one. Lack of humanity, customer, and understanding for others.

First of all, I'm not a complainer. I realize sometimes things happen, it's to be expected. Second, If what you're seeking is hassle-free scripts, I wouldn't recommend Walgreen's, especially, DO NOT USE this location on Oakdale Road in Modesto.For 2 years, I was at the Floyd Avenue store. I had to call the Pharmacy over 15 times in 24 months to correct some kind of problem. I figured it was just that particular location so I moved the Oakdale road, Modesto store. Things weren't any better at this location. In fact, they were even more inept. I had to call their Pharmacy at least 7 times in 12 months. I decided I would let their Manager know what was happening, things started getting even worse. Mysteriously, some of my medications that I need desperately started coming off auto-refill, they weren't filled with the rest. I didn't do any of the things that would cause such action as; not picking up the medication causing it to go back into stock etc... Other times, a few medications were just not filled with the rest, they had no explanations. I decided to not use auto-refill and manually order my medications. At pickup, there were still 2 medications missing, REALLY? It became apparent they were purposely making my life miserable for speaking to the Manager. On my final pickup, I was notified by text, ALL of my medications were ready. When I went to pick up, I was informed, 4 of the scripts were NOT ready, they needed Pharmacist override and he was on break. I was given the option to wait 15 minutes or come back later. Again, it was apparent they were punishing me for speaking my mind for their own ineptness.Do yourself a favor! DON'T use Walgreen's!

Should have known something was gonna happen when I was walking in and customers were walking out mad and frustrated. I walked in, no mask because THEY DONT PREVENT ANYTHING, and was immediately asked if I had one. I said no & proceeded to shop. I was LITERALLY chased down by the guy worker and told I couldn’t shop if I didn’t have a mask. Even though I literally walked halfway through the store w no mask on. To be treated as if your shop lifting over not wearing a mask by a CASHIER says everything about this location. Definitely won’t ever shop in this “I take my job too serious” location with their CASHIERS without badges for their mask-police selves.

I made an appointment for the COVID 19 vaccine at 7:30pm. I show up and let them know I’m here for my appointment for my first dose. The lady told me they were all out of vaccines. Then one of the pharmacists said there’s one left. However, they all started saying how it was “Kaylas vaccine”. Who was currently working amongst them. Then the lady helping me tells me that I don’t need any appointment just walk in. They were nice but it was really unprofessional how I made my appointment in the morning and no one informed about them not having any left. Also it felt like “Kaylas” vaccine was meant to be mine but they kept it for her. Hence why I was allowed to make an appointment in the first place. Definitely not coming back.

The staff is friendly; but usually corporate doesn't have enough employees working during peak times or days. I've also gotten calls saying my medications are ready & go there to be told they are not ready & that really upsets me; especially since I'm 64 & in not the best health anymore.

I don't like coming here much any more the African american store manager follows me around the whole store every time I go In there has not been one time that he has not done so. I never once stole anything from here or any place for that matter. Hes witnessed me pay cash every time I've went in. I do not know why he proceeds to do this but its extremely wrong and humiliating.

Oh my goodness, what is going on with this pharmacy?! I am at lost how they can repeat the same question on the phone and I give the exact same answer and they will get it after a few times. I felt like I was speaking to my 5 year old. Definitely not a Walgreens I recommend. I have never had an issue with Walgreens, but yet again, it is a Walgreens in California.
