I gave it 4 stars because it's one of only a handful of businesses open 24 hours in Modesto now and they have gas, lottery, liquor, cigarettes, blunts, essentials such as water, diapers, toilet paper, milk, etc. Not the cleanest store nor the friendliest workers but they're open and most likely have what you are looking for on a late night hype!

The ladies at stop & save really work hard. They put up the lot of rough traffic and they still stay at their job year after year. They have been very good to me

I am truly upset with this place cause I got my wallet stolen and the person who stole it was trying to use a lot of my cards, tried to use 5 of them but wasn't able to cause kept putting the wrong zip code even though he/she had my DL also so would get declined and do to that I got notifications on my phone letting me know about it and letting me know where they were using it... So I whent to this store and spoke with the two asian ladies and one of them was super rude and kept telling me that they couldn't do nothing and that it was to bad for me and that it was my fault for not taking care of it. I mean I totally understand yes it is my responsibility but I'm 36yrs and not once have I ever lost my wallet until last night so it happens, the thing that made me get super mad at this store and employee that was working at that time was that he/she seen that they kept using a bunch of different cards and getting them declined do to zip code, that should've made them suspicious and know they were stolen cards and wallet.. the lady that I talk to said they had video but didn't want to show me it so I told her I was reporting it to cops and that they would get the video and if she erased it before they see it she would get in trouble also... so if I was you guys don't go to this place they are shady and don't care if ppl are using stolen cards or whatever as long as they get their money 😤😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬

I like stop and save because it's convenient, it's usually open 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and it's within walking distance to home. It's your typical liquor store but I appreciate it because I can buy canned cat food there because my cat is a whiny whiny baby and I can get cat food there. It's a it's a nice store. So yeah nothing bad to say

Went in the store today at 1:40pm on news years eve one tall girl was working the counterI started asking her a question and she was extremely rude even the other customers were shocked the other co worker witnessed the situation. This is not good customer service. Sorry but she should be fired on the spot if you have audio in there you will see I'll be getting a name for you guys shortly again extremely rude

I came here the other night to buy a case of beer, dropped it once (I'm naturally clumsy) and the Asian lady working that night yelled at me and refused to sell me anything, even the other customers that witnessed it didn't understand to seem what the issue wasThis isn't the first time me or any of my friends have had experiences like this either. She often won't accept our valid IDs.

You have to go inside to pay. If you pay with credit card or debit card you have to pay a $0.50 fee. The outside of the place is really dirty people hanging out by the door doesn't necessarily look like homeless people but just a variety of people. It was the cheapest gas in town however. But being disabled it's hard for me to walk in a place and walk back out they wouldn't even let me leave my driver's license and debit card for like a security deposit to fill my car so I had to go to two different stations. Which I found one at the same price down the street and Empire. That's where I'm going to go from now on. Well worth the drive to location was out in the open there wasn't a lot of shady people standing by the door and it was clean. Plus they have a car wash right behind it.

Pit stop store for half way in-between recycling my cans to turn in ill stop for cold dr pepper but its only good for there. Lottery ticket sales and large popcyeles ice creams alot good when your walking and its so hot outside it cools you off good cool off stop everything eles to much money expense mostly 😎

It's pretty convenient but a few nights back I stopped in there and the guy behind the counter was so high he couldn't even push the buttons to ring somebody up, everybody in line was stuff'n their pockets full I just put everything on the floor and left not recommended after midnight

A Bit pricey but I guess last minute run they are good and have a good selection i just don't like the atmosphere it's a bit shady to be honest at least at night lol but you should be good to get what you want and leave

Shop at this store at your own risk!!!! My son rode his bike to Stop N Save on Thursday 4/27/17 @ approximately 6:00pm. As he was entering the store there was a loitering vagrant standing near the entrance that stared at him. As my son was leaving the store the male vagrant called my son the devil and used several racial epithets. My son ignored him and tried to get on his bike. The vagrant grabbed his bike and he and my son struggled over the bike. The vagrant hit my son in the face. My son but him in a choke hold while the vagrant hit him the the stomach repeatedly. The vagrant was loosing breath and stopped hitting son. At that point my son hopped on his bike and rode home. As he entered the house I noticed he was visibly upset and I asked him was happened. After he told me I grabbed my car keys and my son and I immediately drove back to Stop n Save. As we exited the car I saw a police car and my son told me the police were talking to the vagrant ( a customer who witnessed the assault called the police). The vagrant was arrested and charged with a hate crime. I entered the Stop n Save and told the clerk whatt happened and told her this store has an ongoing problem with people loitering near the entrance. The clerk told me they tell loiterers to leave but they don't listen. This is a ridiculous response.They have "No Loitering" signs posted but do nothing to enforce it . Hire a security guard!!!! This is not a safe place to shop because it's clear they do not care about the safety of their patrons.

Always competitive gas prices. The only place I could find bags of ice for $1. Cashiers are friendly, other customers are kind of shady.

Theres always something interesting to see at stop n save. Especially this close to the airport district.just make sure you lock your car and dont get too offended when the homeless waif asks you if she can jump in your car and shoot up. Dont let her do it, but its not her fault. Blame it on Stoney he's apparently the person giving it to her.

They didnt have chang for 100 so I had to give 20 bucks away to some one to get change for gas so i wasnt stranded
