I took my standard poodle in to have groomed. I had an appointment with the person who did it last time and was wonderful. Another woman said she would do it instead. Two hours latter they called me to come in and get her. She was shaking her ears which had been shaved raw along with her tail. This is not how you cut a poodle. I am so happy we got her out of there before this woman shaved her whole body. Run from here, don’t walk.

Petsmart is my go-to place for crickets and meal worms for my leopard gecko. I wish they would have the help button back there, but other then that service was great,even the bathrooms were clean. Mike the cashier was nice and helpful up front.

We shop here frequently for our pets. Nice selection of fish (we have an Oscar). We also have two dogs and a cat. We never leave without buying treats, food, or toys for all 3.The staff are always very helpful and friendly!

Israel, who I believe is the manager or may be in charge of the hiring department. Is completely unprofessional and made some questionable statements. Through the groomer interview process Israel mentioned that “some dogs just yelp when you’re handling them, so if you’re a dog lover and that hurts your heart are you really prepared for this role, because these are big shoes to fill..”. I get that I wasn't a customer in this current situation but it does make me wonder how Israel’s customer service is. I wouldn’t recommend bringing your dogs for grooming since he said the yelping is common. It doesn’t seem like a place where they’re willing to take the proper time and care with your animals. I decided to look elsewhere for employment and also look elsewhere for my pets products since I have been a customer with Petsmart before. I hope this helps in some way.

Menifee PetSmart has had a small dog rescue in their store for 5 years, allowing them to adopt their dogs on Sundays, helping many doggies go to loving forever homes. This is a no-kill rescue that does a lot of good. They have enjoyed a wonderful working relationship with PetSmart, saving dogs. I even adopted one of their dogs.Recently, a new angry store manager took over and a rescue worker told me he kicked the rescue out of their store after he unnecessarily caused an issue and (I was told) he assaulted a rescue worker and lied to corporate about it. His actions will only hurt the rescue, and ultimately the dogs, who are innocent collateral.I was told thatcorporate PetSmart stood behind their manager's decision without conducting any kind of investigation. Apparently the whole incident was caught on store cameras, including the assault, and could prove what the rescue worker alleged had PetSmart cared enough to check. Apparently they don't.I have done business with this rescue and donate to them on a regular basis. I know the owners and workers to be honest, caring people who only want to help these dogs. It is a wonderful rescue and doesn't deserve to be the victim of a self-serving haughty store manager and a clueless corporate. I, personally, will not shop at any PetSmart again. I have heard this from a reliable shocked rescue worker who is sad to end such a good relationship that they had had for 5 years. A relationship that benefitted the dogs and the community as a whole.

I came in and asked for a 7” cut and they charged me $45 for my dog to come out looking exactly the way he did coming in the face and legs. He literally cannot see that we’ll out of his eyes because so much hair is still there . When I take my dog to the groomers I expect them to look at least near and better than how I left them, not worse ! They literally JUST shaved his back with a raser ! I could’ve done that myself and saved my $45

They have a great variety of pets and accessories. I took my puppy Max to their grooming salon and I was more than satisfied with their service. Israel was our groomer and this was Max first time getting groomed. Needless to say, my puppy was very nervous. Israel took his time and was able to get Max groomed. After some training I will definitely take him back.

All the staff members were great, my dog isn't the calmest and they helped by making us a early appointment before they were busy. Very happy with care my baby received, shampoo,ears, teeth, nails, shampoo again she was a dirty girl all this for a reasonable price and timely manner. Truth is I've been coming here for years, and keep coming back.

Grooming:I'm pretty picky about Benji's haircuts and he's gone to the same groomer for 3 years, so I was nervous BUT Liz did a great job on Benji's haircut & my mom said she was very nice at drop off :) I would 100% recommend Liz & you should request her if you use this salon!I recommend the Chi package. I swear by the conditioner. The scent lasts so long! When I made my apt through the app I was able to confirm online and got notifications for the apt. They are usually able to book within the same week, but I booked a few weeks out and was able to get my preferred date and time! The salon has a lot of windows facing the parking lot - something to think about if your dog is nervous or easily distracted. :-/The store:The store is smaller, but has all the essentials. This location has grooming & training, but no Banfield or Hotel.They offer a points system now if you download the app! Petsmart overall is great because they have Nature's Instinct Raw kibble, chi grooming products, and a good variety of small treats for training.

I went to the store to buy live crickets and waited in the cricket box for 15 minutes without any service. The store was very busy and there were no customers. When I asked the store clerk, the reply was always waiting and non-verbal!

Pet stores in the Untied States at least are overpriced because the supplies are over priced there shouldn't be such expensive stuff for pets. People love their animal companions and friends , so they spend willingly and are being taken advantage of by greedy companies as with all other products it's not so much the store's fault perhaps but really folks these prices are ridiculous.

They did a excellent job on my puppy. I had my puppy nails done a bath and and a haircut done. They were very professional and the customer service is very good I would recommend them to anyone. This was the first time for my puppy. Just make sure that your puppy vaccines are up to date.

Took my puppy here at the Menifee Pet Smart on 7/30/26 for the works. Bath, cut, nail clipping. Showed all my paperwork about my dog, they looked her over and all was well. I received a call asking me to come and get her because she had a open wound on her back leg. We went to see what was going on just to see a big gash in her leg with blood still coming out. The girl claimed it was there when we.bought her, mind me she examined her before we left her there. We were told to take her to the vet. My husband explained that it was a fresh cut and it wasn't there when we dropped her off. We feel that whoever was grooming her shaved and cut her. We are not done with this situation. PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR ANAMIALS TO THIS PET SMART!

We need to buy some cat food and the staff was real. I'm finding my cat food brand however they pointed out that they changed the name in the logo and I was able to walk out with all the items I needed to feed my kitty cat.

The staff was excellent. I brought my dog in for a grooming appt. and I was a day early. The staff was able to accommodate me the same day. I have an 85 lb pitbull that was a little nervous for his first time there and I knew he was in good hands with Amanda and that was worth a 5 star. Great job and Thank you again.
