Very happy with my new pet door we had installed into our wall. Tyler arrived on-time and ready to go despite the bad rain. I was worried he may not be able to install it in the location we wanted but he made it happen and made it look great! I don't feel any draft and it looks perfect in the wall. My dogs are finally getting the hang of it and it is an awesome addition to the house! I highly recommend California Pet doors!!

I couldn't be happier with this dog door and the service we received. The company was able to come out to install it quickly. It looks really good and the dogs started using it right away. This is a much better solution that the patio slider dog door we had previously. I highly recommend this product & company!

Just got my door installed on my rooftop deck yesterday In 90 degree weather! The door looks like it was meant to be there. Clean install and my dog is already getting used to it. No more flies inside the house and my A/C is finally able to do its job in this heat!

We purchased an XL Tall Pet door for our German Shepherd and Golden Retriever about a year and a half ago. The installation took less than an hour and the installers were even nice enough to wrap up the cutout wall and stucco for easy repair if we were to ever need the door removed. A few months ago the lower portion of the cover holder fell off from use and I contacted them about getting it repaired. Even with the Covid situation they managed to get us a repair appointment. The technician came and not only repaired the bottom portion, but also repaired one of the flap holders that was beginning to crack as well. We love our door and have been impressed with both the quality and customer service we've received from California Pet Doors!

My contractor initially told me that we can not have the door in the location that I prefer but CA Pet Doors investigated and determined it can be done. The best doors made I have two myself and have also installed a few for some people in Idaho ! I left my number on the home Depot job services and have had the opportunity to install these doors after they looked at home depot's choice in my opinion shotty doors do not even compare to the craftsmanship of the CALIFORNIA PET DOOR I LOVE THE STURDINESS AND THE THERMAL HEAT AND COLD PROTECTION IT PROVIDES ALL WINTER AND SUMMER LONG AND THE BEST THING ABOUT IT IS AFTER YEARS GO BY THE FLAPS EVENTUALLY START TO WEAR DOWN BUT THE COMPANY DOES FLAP REPLACEMENTS WICH REALLY IS LIKE AN INSURANCE IN A WAY CAUSE HOME DEPOTS DOORS DO NOT PROVIDE THAT SERVICE SO DO YOUR MATH FOLKS IT A GREAT DOOR FROM NORTH TO SOUTH EAST TO WEST CALIFORNIA PET DOORS DOING IT BEST!!!

They were very unprofessional. They rolled their dirty tool cart accross my white carpet, rammed it into the staircase banister and took a chunk out if it, and almost installed the doggie door on the wrong wall. They left the rectangular black sharpie cut out on the wall that wasn't suppose to even have the dog door and told me to just figure out the paint color and match it. They seemed irritated and put out with me when I told them they drew the cutout on the wrong wall and tried to push me into keeping it on that wall. Very, very unprofessional! Find some one else to do the work.

I was charged twice also!CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENT!I was also charged TWICE. I sent multiple requests to get this resolved, and even talked to the owner who assured me it would be fixed. My husband also got confirmation over email that we would be reimbursed. I also saw reviews from other people who had the same problem. This looks like a trend. CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENT if you were unfortunate enough to do business with this company! I can see by the phone number posted that this is the company I did business with. Door is fine but not worth paying double.

I ordered an ideal fast fit door from this company 6 days ago. I got an email stating that I would get another email with a tracking number once it was shipped. I never got that email. I called the company and left a voicemail. No one returned my call. I called again the same day and was told that they found out that no orders from that day had gotten transferred over. The first representative I talked to said he would do what he could to see if the order could be shipped today. He would call me back. I got a voicemail stating there was no way they could build and ship the order in one day. So I called back again and spoke to a different customer service rep that tried to make it look like the reason it was taking time was because they had to build the door and the fact that I don't live in California there was no way they could get it to me that quickly. I proceeded to tell him that was not the reason the door was not ready. It was because non of their orders got transferred Wednesday and that no one had given me the common courtesy to call me back to let me know that the system they have had screwed up. So had I not called myself I would have never known. On top of this the door is very very expensive.......468$ for a screw up😡
