A great place to get food for a picnic. Also a good place to get interesting. Prepared foods in general. Lots of unique gourmet items. Sometimes a little short on the basics of a grocery store.

So many gluten free options! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Not always an easy find when traveling. Vegan options too. Also ICE, available in 1lb or 9lb bags. I’m not sure that math makes sense, but they have ice options, and a great wine selection too. I actually found my favorite gluten free snacks cheaper here than at Whole Foods, winning. It’s the little things. Especially in 2020.Oh P.S. try the sundried tomato basil goat cheese... with Mary’s peppercorn crackers!P.P.S. Can’t go wrong with some figgies and jammies!!

cool little spot in downtown mendocino right next to a happening bar. they have organic food and supplies and everything in the town opf mendo costs more bc its hours away from civilization. the church across the street is famous for being an illuminati or freemason building.

‘Twas the night before Christmas and wouldn’t you know it, we forgot the extension cord and we were about to blow it, the presents were set under the Christmas tree with care, but it would be at least 6 more feet before the lights would be there, so we ran to the store ready to say dag nabbit, but the dude at the register said he’d run and grab it, and wouldn’t you know it was a Christmas miracle I say, the lights on the Christmas tree were lit and my dude saved the day! Merry Christmas Harvest market, we promised a review, and here’s a Christmas eve rainbow to boot, just for all of you!

Amazingly well stocked market - definitely has a little bit of everything you might need for a weekend away from home.I was also very pleasantly surprised by the meat counter. Some quality steaks and a great variety of what must've been in-house or locally made sausage. So many varieties to choose from starting from pork or chicken to flavors like Sriracha onion to pizza brat.If you're in the area, definitely stop by and look through some of the cutest stickers ever!! (like I said, they have lots of things!)

I love shopping here. Everyone is friendly, they have a great meat market, a good stock of beer and wine, the store is clean and inviting which makes for a good shopping experience. And don't forget your bags! Because when you check out with your bags the cashier will give you a wooden token for each bag. You take the tokens and put them in your choice of charities box. The store donates .10 per token to the charities. I think this is the coolest thing ever! Another great way they support their community.

Went to the hardware store next to harvest market. It was more expensive than the last hardware stores in ft Bragg and less stocked up. But they are located conveniently between ft Bragg and Albion so sometimes I shop there. Like today

What a great place! Such a wonderful selection of really good stuff! The Cadia Organic Tomato Basil pasta sauce is a crowd pleaser. Everyone loved it.

My first impression in town was here at this store. They were about to close and the employee made sure I knew he was not in a very welcoming mood. I’ve been in his position before so I didn’t take it personally. That said, the next day I came in and the employees were all very nice and helpful. They have a fairly large selection of general groceries, toiletries, booze, and clothing items and prices didn’t seem outrageous. They got 4 stars because of the initial impression I got, but also because they were open until 10 when everywhere else was closed at 9.

Very rude staff - I accidentally spilled some chowder on the checkout conveyer belt, apologized several times and the cashier went nuts on me, even called me an a**hole under her breath. On the plus side, the grocery store has high quality food but watch out for the hostile lady at the register.

I have been coming here for years, nice atmosphere but good luck finding a friendly cashier. It seems like the employees here pick and choose who they are nice too which is quite disappointing when you are in a position of customer service. Seriously you can say good morning to some of these cashiers and they litteraly don't even respond to you. I have spent thousands of dollars in this store over the years. Help pay the wages of these employees and they can't even smile and say have a nice day. If there was anywhere else to shop in mendo village I absolute would.

Wonderful store. It’s a sister store of the iconic Harvest Market in Fort Bragg. It’s a great mix of local products and tried and true items. Excellent service. The owner, Tom Honer, still lifts boxes in the back at a pretty advanced age. He is a very helpful person, very giving. He donated much food and money for my choir to travel to New York City for a performance. A great community member. But the store, regardless, it is worth a shopping trip if you’re passing through because everything is there.

On way to fort bragg, we stumbled upon harvest at Mendosa's. The place was clean and everything was fresh, the staff greeted us and were friendly to help us find stuff around the store. We bought almond crosiant and warmed it up in oven there, it was huge and very delicious

Zero star not even worth one! Rude employees! Overpriced goods! Return or exchange not allowed in this store! No exception! I’m really disappointed at how I was treated in this store. I purchased a non-prescription medication and I was charged $80.90 including tax. I asked the manager if they can do price match unfortunately, NO they do not. I paid for the item because I was already causing a delay and people are waiting in line. Thinking that I can just go to customer service and return it after. I asked the lady that works there where the customer service is and told her about my concern and how I wanted to return the item. She was nice and called the other employee, and I told him about what happened and that I changed my mind because it was over priced. He didn’t know what to do and called someone, not sure if she’s the Manager or what. But I had to explain again about what happened and the item that I wanted to return. She didn’t even care about my concern all she said was “that thing is expensive!” and I said “Yes, I know but your store is way too overpriced for this item.” Then she replied “we don’t accept returns” and I said it’s still sealed and it has only been 5 mins since I bought it. She just looked at me and didn’t even bother to explain why I can’t return a sealed item?! I left the store thinking how I just wasted my time with these kind of people! Not worth the time and money to shop here! Worst customer service!!!

I've been goin to mendosas before harvest bought it and I've always enjoyed the store, harvest just added to what was already a great store to give it an even greater selection of goods. Now has everything one might need under the sun and more.Has awesome fresh produce, meats, love the cheese selection, bread, ect the list goes on and to sum it up they have all the good grocery shopping for the most part at fair prices. Have to add its a good place you can find interesting and great gifts.

Very nice local markets in Mendocino Village and Ft. Bragg. with pharmacy, meat counter, decent coffee, picnic items, sushi (wish more was brown rice), pet stuff, baking supplies. Covid precautions include reqired masks & some sterilization of carts, monitoring # of people in store; I would like to see temp checks and symptoms questions added. They carry some organic and gluten-free items, but it would take more to get 5 stars from me (esp 100% grass fed organic meat and more organic non-toxic cleaning products). They have made a huge investment in climate-friendly solar power, which I really appreciate!

The folk there are very nice and very knowledgeable about what is in the store and where to find it. I appreciate all the items that they do have available.Anything from packing tape two bananas to vegan products to ready made food. And shopping at raley's in Sacramento the prices here at the store are actually great!

A lot like a Whole Foods Market. Lots of specialty foods. We weren't into cooking during our stay so we bought premade sandwiches that were very good. Good beer/wine selection. Prices were reasonable. The services was pretty fast and we did not experience big line-ups the two times were here.

What can I say, this place is a jewel within a jewel. Food, drinks and just total awesomeness. It has beer, wine and everything fine. Salad bar, soups, cooked meats and pre-made deli sandwiches of all sorts...everything needed to have an awesome meal at the beach. It is a full grocery store with everything a big market would have plus local items which give it the Mendocino flavor.

One of several regional incarnations of Whole Foods with emphasis on organic food and whatever else is trendy and PC. Pricey as you might expect but the quality of the food is high with a good variety of food types available. Salad bar is smaller than some others but very good. An olive bar is also present. Given the remoteness of Mendocino I'd say the elevated prices are just when weighed against the freshness of the food.

Even better selection than bigger city grocery stores and nice and clean. Found everything we needed and then some. Cashier was super friendly and helpful. Will be back!
