I was on the hurt for fall thing's they had very few things n no Christmas at all..... n no construction paper.... I'll stick to the one closer to my home on road 26 its small but we are fully stocked of fall n mugs n stickers n holiday thing's... n its 4 mins away i only stop at this one on 4th street cause I was going ro the the postoffice

Very nice and clean store... has everything you will need when you go there! Most of the food there is actually pretty fresh and is good for a quick stop when you don’t have time to go far. Very clean store with amazing workers!

Great Customer Service there. I don't feel like a customer. It's a very friendly atmosphere and the team members always acknowledged us when we enter the store even while they are helping other customers.

Usually the clerks bag my items. I always have my own bags and the clerk always bags my items. Today I was made to bag my own items. The clerk didn’t care that I wasn’t finished, she kept ringing up other customers. In my opinion this was very poor customer service. I am fairly new to Madera and honestly the service I’ve experienced in the town has been horrible. I am truly disappointed in the Dollar general, as well as some of the other businesses I have been to. As of today, Dollar General in Madera has lost me as a customer.

Small store and not well stocked. I have been to quite a few even another within this area which this one didn't impress. What I was a real disappointment is that I choose a product due to it being on sale with it being indicated by a sticker beneath the product. When I went to the register it didn't ring up, the cashier checked and came back with the sticker and said the sale ended yesterday. It was old. There was no attempt to compensate. The sticker should have been removed long before closing the next day at end of sale. Which is when I arrived. Hopefully they will be more mindful in future. I did buy out the product thou. I tried using online site. Worst app I ever used!!

I absolutely love Dollar General. It's a easy in and out store that i can pick up household items. The staff is very professional and helpful. Also they have a awesome app whete u can get alot of discounts.

Dollar General on 6th St is always friendly and helpful. Out of canned cat food at times. For that reason I gave them 4 stars. Prices are very reasonable. I shop this location often.

Brough my own balloons to be inflated since they were custom. Lady filled them up & handed them to be to attach the string. Asked her why she was handing them to me when I don’t even work here. Her response was “we are busy with a line right now” hahahaha i was starstruck. I don’t even work there . She said she “understood my frustration” told her I wasn’t frustrated just using common sense. Last time coming here. Y’all need to do your job man! Sheeshh

Cute little home decor items and organized cosmetics so shopping therapy hours game on! Enough of a grocery selection even in the smaller stores to avoid real grocery store crowds on occassion for quick stops. Modern day Woolworths.

You can say that I was hacked in my facebook accounts because I dont remember ever commintating on this business. I remember leaving comments on parkwood gas station while back. But not this business. I don't really have much to say about business, but my nieces do like shopping in dollar generals. I m just not into the mood of going in because I don't have a dollar to my name to buy anything so I rather state in the car then have my family member having to spend money on me. Have pride and I do get embarrassed for not having for myself and have other pay for my needs.

A great spot for finding things that you didn't know you needed. Not the best selection of items, but what are you complaining about at a dollar store? Even the daily newspaper is discounted. Prices at a nearby supermarket approach double of what they are here.

While the staff is actually quite friendly, the inside of the store is a bit of a mess and everything is close together. The aisles were cluttered and in some cases large swathes of aisles were empty of merchandise.

I love coming to this store better than the other one near Parkwood due to the associates are more personable and managers there aren't stuck up. The store is always clean & organized.

Both employees didn't know what they were doing. Scanned my card twice then proceed to not have any knowledge to get my back, then after 30 mins finally gave me my cash back. I'm kinda upset they couldn't take my coupon check and didn't have any idea how to scan it for formula. So for my bad experience I put 1 star.

I went here once to get a water & I never been in a more disgusting place. The floors are dirty, the people are rude, whenever I'm in there I feel like it's going to get robbed any second. I'm not going there ever again!

Visited the store in Madera because one is coming to Coarsegold. It was over stocked and messy. Looked to me like Dollar Tree type items for more then a dollar. If you must have something and no time to go anywhere else.... At least there's that.

These people are so unprofessional, makes you wanna never step into any Dollar General again! Store is very dirty. Staff looks like they don't have a clue whats happening. No good customer service! Stay away from this store.
