We have been taking our baby boy Wally to Petco for the last two years for his grooming. Val is his groomer and she does the BEST job on him. Wally loves Val just as much as Val loves Wally. Wally is always well taken care of and always comes back to us looking as cute as cute can be! We wouldn't take him to anyone else!!

My time spent at Petco Is always a great experience ,all the employees are awesome and great peoplethe store Is always In excellent condition....i go to Petco In Los Banos C.A at least four times a weekand I really appreciate the Awesome people and the store...Thank You to all the Employees that work there5 stars and 2 thumbs up always

This store has issues. There are always dead fish in the tanks. My grandson was traumatized by a dead mouse in the enclosure. It had blood pouring from its eye.The staff controls every fish purchase, refusing service if they determine you have requested more fish than they deem acceptable. Yet their tanks are obviously over crowded. It is unacceptable that they attemt to control how you furnish your own aquarium. I'm fed up with the overreach.

I really got denied from buying two gold fish, they said my 25 gallon tank is too small for two gold fish and that they could no sell to me that it was petco policy. Wow! It's cool I'll take my business elsewhere.

I’m from out of town, and saw this petco and needed some “ boots” for my bully pit. Petco has always been my go to pet store and I got some boots for my pup and a dog tag for my other rascal. Dog tags is top of the line and futuristic, as you pick out the dog tag you want, pay for it, and go to the machine and design it. Design it as in, the font you want and any style you want.Young girl helped me and I showed her when I was done and we both agree it looked really good! Here’s some, pics. Oh ya, got both my pups a life size dog bone with gentle spikes on it as they use it to roll around in to massage their backs! They love it! Ones a husky and the other is a bully!

Horrible experience just for me to check in my dog. The lady Val gave me a horrible, horrible customer service. She’s rude and I don’t understand how she can still work for Petco. I think this is the last time I bring my dog to Los Banos Petco.

We took our dog for grooming recently and unfortunately had a terrible experience. We noticed our dog was not being his usual playful self and decided to take him to the vet where they informed us that his ears were very badly burned on the inside due to the groomer (Val) using clippers that were extremely hot. He had severe blistering that began to bleed and resulted in a $200 vet bill and the vet advised us to never take him back to the groomer as this was something that could have been avoided, especially since he most likely cried in pain. I understand that it is not an easy job, nor do I expect dogs to be calm during grooming, but the level of burns showed that this was negligence on the groomers end. I hope no one else has this experience

Went in for a leash. The checkout cashier was helpful and polite. Went in again the next day for an exercise pen and the cashier was different but the service was still great. Pleasant staff.

We went in to see if we can can post a flyer to help rehome our puppies. We are far from a puppy mill and just wanted to make sure they are rehomed properly and to loving families and the lady there was extremely rude. Stating “we don’t allow you to sell dogs here, we are an adoption based company” which is understandable but the tone was far from polite. Customer service should always be about empathy and understanding. Not coming off rude.Although the cashier, young lady with glasses was very polite and tried to assist.

The store itself was very clean and organized. The staff was very knowledgeable. The selection was hard to choose from because of its options! Very well stocked. Most of all the manager heather was super awesome, professional, punctual and did everything by the book and gave us the best deals and lead us in the right direction! If I lived close by I'd definitely be back to shop here again!

The staff were honestly not that welcoming like how one would think for an establishment such as this. Other then that they carry great quality products which give them an advantage over competitors, but with their quality of staff. I honestly don't see that being to much of an advantage.
