Some staffs are cool, while few are not. Especially be aware of this bald headed guy named Dave. He's one of the supervisors or managers. Sometimes I see how he treats some his staff members and he plays professionally. It's really sad to witness it. I think Dave has discriminat issues. I don't consider here.

Unfriendly unprofessional staff and security. I'm doing my shopping and I can hear the cashier's and security cussing with each other talking about customers from earlier in the day. NOT COOL.Asked which line was open and got yelled at by the Saturday night Hispanic manager "that one" I figured he had a bad day.Dont like the job QUIT

Haven't been to smart & final in years. Items I needed were plentiful. Purchased a few items that weren't on my list that I hadn't tried before. Overall, I'm happy with my purchases and what I paid. Two bags right at thirty dollars, is a good day. Especially with rising prices. Smart & Final I'll be back. Will upload photos next time.

Went to buy some beef tri tip but the meat guy said they don't sell any anymore because of theft. Very disappointed 😔. But the cashier was very friendly.

One is a bag of salad the other are greens. The produce at this specific location has plummeted within the last 4 months. Please get it together guys. Your stuff is NOT good anymore. If you need help I can clock in and take care of it

Close and convenient.Great produce. Quality meats.The chuck toast and N.Y strip steaks were the best I have tasted in a long time.I'm a big fan of Smart & Finals private label,"First Street"First Street 94/6 ground beef is one of my favorites to make healthier low fat high protein meals.I was surprised that they carry wet and dry dog and cat food.I also bought Body wash there. They have everything!Most things are bulk buys,Although you can still buy1LB of bacon or1 LB. of butter.Prices are low.Great for tight budgets!I recommend this store.

This is a relatively easy store to access on the west side of Crenshaw about a block south of McDonald's. There is convenient gated parking and the lot is maintained clean and free of carts strewn throughout.The interior is clean and well-stocked. Even when busy inside it is sime to find the quick items you require, bulk items or regular family meal planning.The produce, bakery and meat departments are all well stocked with fresh healthy selections, as is the dairy - even though it has a limited variety of cheese selections. As well, this is a good place to stock up on pantry staples - especially if shopping for value found in First Street's own high quality product line which is often significantly lower priced than national brands.Staff and customers are generally friendly and amicable.

Honestly I have been going here far more than what I can remember. The staff here is great, the atmosphere is nice. The parking is good though to me it can be better. When they're stocked, they're stocked and when they're not stocked they're still kind of great but since a lot of stores are closed down I don't think that they're really ordering everything they need to be able to support this neighborhood and more. Because now more people are starting to come in for the lack of grocery stores We are having now. As far as in waiting in line it's 73% good and the rest is like, what the hell. But I've never had no problem with them none whatsoever, they got all the things that you really personally need for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert, parties and more.

I love this location. They have a variety of items and fresh produce. i get my cleaning supplies and breakfast items from here. i will say this, since the pandemic, things have been on backorder and some items are out of stock. THIS IS TO BE EXPECTED!!! dont blame Smart and Final for something that you cant find in the store. ALL of the store employees are NICE!! this is a BIG plus since a lot of employees everywhere are being pushed to their limits by their corporate offices! GREAT JOB SMART AND FINAL!!

Worst produce possible. Avocados repeatedly rot before they ripen. They are brown on the inside before they soften. Nothing is fresh.Clearly not sorry because nothing is done to fix it. Rotting produce and cheese that expired months ago is regularly sold. This is what a food desert looks like…Smart & Final on Crenshaw

I’m satisfied. This store, normally, is well stocked. Not so much lately. I think like most, it due to the pandemic. The store clerks, with the exception of a few, could be a little more friendlier.

I like the Smart and final on Crenshaw and 29th it's very clean customer service is good and I enjoyed the bulk that I can get from them I went in there this morning to get some to go containers they've gone up they've gone up from $9 to $15

Smart & Final Crenshaw is extremely busy. Customers include residents, business merchants, restaurateurs and employees from the boulevard that frequent the store. Management is NOT conscientious about addressing long lines with additional staffing. The produce department is generally fresh, the frozen sections are adequately stocked & date appropriate. The meat department, however, stores OLD chicken, sausage, steaks etc. Crenshaw location needs additional staffing, upgrades in meat dept, more variety in terms of healthy, vegan, gluten-free selections comparable with Wilshire Blvd & Mid town shopping center Smart & Final stores.

4 star for long lines and no a/c in the building. I'm not sure if there was a temporary problem with their a/c, if it was just a particularly hot day or if they simply don't have a/c at all, but it was hot in their warehouse recently. It doesn't help that they leave their doors open during business hours either. Other than the long lines and air conditioner mystery, this store is everything that you'd expect from Smart & Final. Well done 4 stars review!

I live around the corner from The smart and final is on 29th and Crenshaw !! Since is been open it has went down it's on clean and stocked ! I have nothing bad to say about the employees ! There's just not enough of them !! Why is this store so clean and stocked wow the other smart and final on pico in the midtown area is refreshing stocked up clean !! I drive past the store to go out of my neighborhood to go to the clean stacked up smart and final which doesn't make any sense who's ever in charge of this store is clearly NOT TRYING TO SERVE THIS COMMUNITY!!!! Customer Service definitely goes a long way. Especially the one on Crenshaw BlvdAnd instead of having coupons you have to PRINT out..make them more user friendly for those of us who don't rely on a printer to shop in grocery stores!!

I have shopped here since I was a teen....until today....a young lady by the name of miara, something along that level...big blue braces....she should learn work etiquette because when I inserted my credit card ...she thought it was humorous to say my card declined....and then said just kidding....as hard as I work everyday....and in the public's eye....that's a no for me....she needs to be fired..or either retrained..perhaps I'll have a talk with the manager or even corporate.....I'll never return to this location...and that sucks because so many of your employees are wonderful....she sucks...and needs to educate herself on how to deal with the public better....and how to be professional in whatever job she holds.....

Today Saturday, I decided to shop at smart and finaf on crenshaw BlvdI know their service is bad and I usually go at night (the team and security officer arw.great) or I drive to Culver or Inglewood.But today I had and emergency and I had to shop there.Well that was a nightmareFirst when I asked to the cashier who was in The alley if they have diced onions, she looked as annoyed that I asked her a question. Then I went to the line to pay. I was wondering why no one was on her line. An elder was on her line. She asked him to put his merchandise on the counter. I was wondering why she didn't scanned his basket. Then the gentleman wanted to buy ice. But as he was slow I asked if she could scan my bag of brown rice. Well she told me that I have to Wait. When made her noticed that the gentleman was slow and i had time to check out for 1 item, she got irritated and started laughing at me. Breathing hard and of course I told her I was recording cause this needs to be notified to the manager, she starred saying she will call the the police on me. She still checked the person after me and passed me. Luckily the Manager was very nice and he checked me out.

Too many expired packages and spoiled meat! We tried 3 times, and all 3 times something we came home with was spoiled despite the fact that the dates were not expired. Expired packages is another issue. Make sure to look at salad dressing dates before purchasing and beware of condiment expirations too.

Sometimes fruit and onions are rotted. Not to many employees. Long lines which make check out longer. Sometimes they dont have a product /meat u want. Need to walk the floor and make sure everything is fresh. U wouldnt want to pay for rotted things. I stoppwd going to this one.

Friendly cashiers that can most definitely take a joke. Always nice getting in a few laughs while waiting on line. Also nice to know that when I walk in I can see a smiling face, because of that I go back often.

This location on Crenshaw is not my usual location but they sometimes have things that I need that the other location doesn't have. I can stop here on my way home from work so it works out for me. Having a business and being able to come here makes all the difference.
