Prices are crazy, return policy sucks, and most importantly there is no redeeming customer service that would bring me back just because they are nice people. Sometimes it feels like the owners don't even like dogs? You'll leave feeling robbed and confused.

Pet stores are usually such a nice experience, Not this one.Every time I leave here I feel like I was just robbed. The markup is insane on every product.They leave open bags of treats on ground level, and if your pet gets into it they charge you (which fair enough but I swear it’s a sales tactic) the staff are usually rude.One of the staff literally handed my dog a $17 rawhide without asking me and charged me??It just feels like a cash grab. Plenty of other awesome pet stores within 5 min.

They are kidding? Everything I bought was marked "no return" including a choke chain which could have easily been resold. I asked for help as a new dog owner with a young rambunctious Lab. The advice I got could have come from a homeless person in the parking lot. Also extra bones and snacks were just stuck on my tab. And surely there is somewhere less expensive. There is nothing I like about this store.

Don’t bother shopping here. The markup on nearly all items is behind outrageous. And their customer service is nonexistent. Unless, apparently, you’re White. I was allowed to wander about the small shop for nearly 15 minutes without a single employee deigning to ask if I needed assistance. The young man at the counter seemed entirely disinterested in asking if I’d found what I needed, and he seemed just disinterested in his work in general. Adding insult to injury, he paused ringing up my purchases in order assist an oblivious and quite entitled DIFFERENT customer. For these prices, I expect value and excellent service. I found neither at this shabby little place.

You know despite living in a very hipster neighborhood, this spot is very low key and carries all the basic goods you would need for your pets. It’s not as upscale or as pricey as Urban Pet or Healthy Spot. And I find all the good brands of food I need for my dog.It’s in a great location so you can pick up some Chinese, some wine, or head over to Alcove (just don’t park there or you’ll get towed). Across the way you’ll find Hot Chicko’s, Daily Donut and Pho VT. Celebrity Cleaners on the other side of the bank. All great spots. It’s a prime location to get pretty much everything you need.

Save for a new, young employee, the staff here are thoroughly unfriendly and unhelpful. They never greet you or ask if you need help finding anything. Nothing. I once had my arms full with things (and was with my dog.) The two gruff guys that are always there (including the pony-tailed dude someone else mentioned) didn't offer to help me carry my bags to the car, let alone open the front door while I had my hands full. They just watched indifferently as I tried to juggle everything and had to set all my bags down to open the door.

My go to spot to pick up crickets. Staff is super friendly and helpful.I love that they open early as I'm normally running my errands first thing in the morning.They have a good selection of dog treats and other animal/reptile supplies.

I cannot recommend this store. The staff treats customers like they are doing us a favor. They are rude, and condescending. The stock is spotty and incomplete. I found some product that was close dated to the expiration date. To top it off their prices are sky high. The grain free dog food I like is $8 per 25 lb bag higher here than at Collar and Leash. Like Urban Pets the prices here are ridiculous.Collar and Leash is a much better store and the staff is wonderful over there.

Great staff. The lady up front helped me with all my questions and concerns. Let me just wonder around looking at things and getting lay of the land for a first time dog dad. Gave me lovely suggestions that actually helped my puppy.

My kitty needs a special vet diet but I like going here to add in some food that is healthy for her to mix in with the diet food that she clearly is not a fan of. Nice little shop that I can walk to in 5 minutes.

They don't carry cat food for a cats with chronic urinary tract issues, which are extremely common, but can be deadly. The staff is uneducated and rude. One guy even recommended some hippy dippy all-natural food for my cat AFTER I TOLD HIM ABOUT THE UTI REPEATEDLY which ultimately could've killed him. Don't come here period. I give negative stars if I could.

Walked in to find a particular item and the white guy with the pony tail behind the counter seemed to be racist seen me and my son a never once greeted us or asked did we need help stay away from this place if your Black!!!

Please be careful when buying from here I got a filter tank for my baby turtle got home opened it and not all the pieces were in there on top of that the lady that helped me was so rude not even a smile they don't apologize or great you right not coming here again
