I recently came here for a vaccine clinic. BlueCollar has different kinds of foods, treats, training gear and even agility. Parking lot is good for dropping by for a few minutes. The employees are nice. Would visit again.

This place is awesome! I love the artwork all around the building. A large open floor with lots of products from toys, food and morel The staff is great! Super friendly and knowledgeable. He taught me and my friend what to look for in kibble and why it matters. Plus if your pet doesn't like the product there is 100% guarantee to switch for alternative.

I am from Utah but visit California often. It’s always a must to visit this store whenever I’m in town!! Amazing selection of dog food, treats and training gear! I always have to stock up on collars and training gear when I visit haha. Love this place!!!

Great place! BlueCollar Working Dog has an awesome selection of raw foods, dehydrated treats, toys, and other equipment. Not to mention the equipment there for dogs to use like the spring pole, platforms, jump, etc. Employees have always been friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. We have had nothing but the best experience and my dog LOVES going to BlueCollar.

First off, I live in Panama. Everything I get comes from order online. Was a pleasure to go into this amazing store during my recent visit to LA and touch and feel my purchases. From the moment I stepped through the door Robert was super attentive. He asked me what kind of dog I have, (Zeus: a 4-month 21kg Rottweiler; he going to be a beast and I needed professional tools). I told him my goal was to get gear to take back home to Panama to help me with the next year of training.Over the next 2 hours he was super attentive, obviously he had to go attend other people but always came back and made sure I was comfortable with my purchases. I also picked up the Dogtra 1900s E collar, which he recommended.I give the Blue Collar guys a 5-star review. Made me feel super comfortable and did not have that "know it all" attitude. Looking forward to tagging you guys in many stories to come while Zeus.Thanks for the attention and great customer service!!! Blue Collar team is killing it!

This is our go to shop for our dog supplies! Staff will go out of their way to help. I can go to any employee and know they will give me their most honest opinion and won’t try to upsell me.We recently adopted our first ever kitten. One of the staff members was extremely knowledgeable on kitten must haves and gave solid recommendations.I also just called and asked if they had a certain brand in stock. Unfortunately, they didn’t but the employee said to call back Wednesday and she could put the product on hold for me. 10000/10 for customer service!

They have terrible time management with everything. They always showed up late and not on time. They were nice and everything was going well until the driver kept switching times and then she threatened to leave our dog at a shelter because I told her that her time management was horrible and that's not how you do business with a costumer that's pays you to work. Overall they were fine but the drivers are terrible and not doing there job right or on time.

Took my dog who was 8 years old at the time (and he’s a huge dog)for private training with Barry in the summer of 2021. Much of the training is about training the owner. I learned many things that I have been teaching my dog daily. Our dog has been so good lately. We introduced him to my dad’s dog and they played all day and eventually lounged around the house together. He has been great on walks and very rarely barks or lunges at other dogs or strangers. The month of training we did together is really paying off almost two years. Of course he can use more training, but the results are undeniable. i highly recommend taking your dog for private training with Barry.

Not only for the working dog but also the working cat. While the store is primarily dog focused they have an amazing cat section. Toys, treats, furniture, agility and training equipment, the works.

I love how this place is stocked up on cool products for dogs of any size and breed but the service is terrible. Me and my husband stopped by to get our GSD a new collar and while trying to figure out what size fits best, the employees where just starring at us from the counter and listening to us while we struggled to figure out what size she was. The only moment they intervened to help was when we went up to the cashier. Other pets store such as el granero offer to help out even if the store is at its full capacity. Keep in mind the employees here at blue collar where just sitting down at the counter the whole time.

This is one of the BEST pet stores in LA. They have such a huge variety of stuff for dogs and cats. Excellent selection of quality dog food and treats. And they have a obstacle course built into their display. My dog is a little afraid of their ramps though they are steep.

I’ve been recommending them since they opened for training, specialty dog gear, and later their general retail items as a dog walker, rescuer and pet retail manager when my store didn’t have what someone needed. I still think their training is some of the best, most affordable, and most consistently accessible and proven in LA that I have found.Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the retail side. The selection is good but the caring of some of the specialty dog food is inconsistent. Also the customer service is hit or miss. I’ve had experiences with really helpful people and then I’ve had experiences with others that wanted to engage very minimally and even give inaccurate information. I had already bought the same bag of dog food two times there and when I came back to try to get it again the employee continued to insist that they had never carried it.They also have a loyalty program where they put your name and phone number down but twice out of the four times I recently went there they could not find my name on the system. Therefore, I wasn’t building up accurate rewards towards the future.Lastly, they were closed the day before Thanksgiving and there was no sign posted about it at least on the closed gate, neither was there anything on their website or were their times updated on Google maps. I did email them first instead of leaving a review and I made sure that the email was not harsh and just wanted to express it was disappointing since the food I get I have to get there, or else I have to order online from Chewy. I did also say if for any reason there was an emergency and that’s why they had to close I apologize for the email and understand. I did not get a reply back at all.

We get all our accessories and food for our dog Kira here and have noticed all the gear here is a notch above what we find online - and other chain pet retailers. Great selection, great curation, and nice staff. Love it, highly recommended.

great selection of EVERYTHING dog and i especially love their selection of raw food. best quality accessories, especially for big dogs. good quality isnt cheap so i really like their punch cards that gives u a punch for every $50 spent and $50 off when its filled up. the staff is really cool and very knowledgeable too. love this place!

i’m from florida and came to the west coast for the weekend. saw a video on tictok of this store and made it a goal to visit. my dog obviously wasn’t with me, and asked about two different dog sizes. i wish the response from the gentleman was better, but his response came off in the wrong way. was told that if my collar didn’t fit to “sell it” and said that i could rebuy it on the online store. don’t see myself going back there even though they have everything you need for a working dog.

A MUST FOR CAT PARENTS IN LA: CHEAPER and better quality than big chain pet stores (Chewy/Petco) for high quality wet food. I only buy Weruva for my cats and have been hunting for better deals for months. I was shocked to find cheaper prices than Chewy's subscription prices AND when it's on sale at Petco!+a TON of small business brands I had never heard of (inc. some brands from Canada) at reasonable prices. Never going back to Petco/Chewy again.++employees were super patient and educated on good cat food options!+++and huge parking lot so you don't have to worry about parking during rush hour!++++there were dogs in the store that were so well behaved and adorable (I wanted to spend hours in the store ngl)

Very nice staff that really do know their stuff about dog nutrition, diet, and life style. The actual store itself is pretty spacious so it doesn't feel cramped. Additionally, the place doesn't smell like wet dog or old pet food as a lot of pet store places do so thats a plus.

LOVE THIS PLACE! They have everything your dog needs. Best selection of food, toys, treats and collars/leashes (they have the most gorgeous leather collars and leashes here). The customer service is amazing and they are very helpful if you have any questions. They also offer a vet service once a month that is like $25 for a check up.
