Big, clean, bright West Marine with big parking lot. It suffers from the same problem most WM's have...you need 2 of something they have stock 1. You need 4 of something they stock 3. Without fail this has been my experience of all WM's I frequent. So I just expect it now as part for the course for them. There hardware aisle is nice and organized but is smaller style bins rather than pull-out drawers. I like this as is doesn't lead to that drawer becoming horrible disorganized. So, good on this store.

Great staff and location. Parts counter is pretty well stocked and knowledgeable staff behind it. Good deals on quality products for all boating and angling needs. Kayaks,gps,safety gear and weatherproof gear ,phone cases,speakers and 2 way radios/walkie talkies.

Was great. Found my size in the color I wanted for my Extra tuff deck boots when I searched the www and couldn't get them.They offered to hold them for a few days with zero down. Manager was friendly and helpful and even though I couldn't see the smile behind his mask. I saw it in his eyes. Thanks for a positive experienceI will be back long beach West Marine

Lots of boat accessories from electronics to hardware. Nice easy clean atmosphere. Helpful salesman. And most of the stuff you need for boats. I’ve traded here for over 16 years in Long Beach, and they’re very easy to work with.

I went looking for foulweather gear and their selection was so weak. Basically there brand and a bunch of cheap Chinese made junk that you would not want in an actual storm for more then an hour or two.

Went to purchase a reel that is out of stock everywhere pretty much. They had it in stock like the website said. It was the last one, but they definitely had it lol. Would go again if I needed to but I live 1.5hrs away.

If you need boat stuff, big or small, they got it. It’s worth a visit even if you aren’t into boats or sailing. They have clothing, fishing gear, accessories. Good sized hardware section. Prices are a bit high, but boating is not cheap. Great place overall.

Had to get a 30 amp and 50 amp cord. I knew nothing about the electrical on docks and the guy there, Justin, was a very big help. Explained a lot to me and spent a lot of time dumbing things down to my level. Great guy. I would recommend this store and Justin to anyone looking for help with electrical plug s for the different docks.

Very poor service. Called three times to check stock of an item. The first time, they said that they were "really really busy right now" so there was nobody to check stock of an item (probably since it was during lunch hour). Second time they took my number and said that they would call back (they didn't call back within an hour). The third time they said the hold would be 5-7 minutes. I waited for 25 minutes before hanging up and ordering on Amazon.

Great selection, and great customer service. Found what I needed in their website, but it said they only had 1 on stock so I called just to make sure. They not only checked there computer, but also went out to the shelf and pulled it off for me.,. Putting it at the front of the store for me.

Always a struggle going here. They are probably out of whatever you need. If you need a bunch of any one thing, like yellow running lights, they have only one. The store used to be packed with products, but once the competition died off, they restricted the stock and now feature many square feet of open floor space. It's really hard to use this store. I have increasingly been using the web even though I don't want to. Staff are friendly if not knowledgeable. Some are knowledgeable but how can they help you when they don't carry much?

let me start by saying this place is massive its professional and the customer service is great from the moment you walk in the door to the parts department ,i came in yesterday with my broken PROP and Andrew took the time to help me out didn't feel pressured at all also he helped me to purchase the correct prop.i will go back and purchase more parts Andrew is knowledgeable if you need any boat parts go speak with him, and the people up front are helpful too

Staff knows nothing. Spent a lot of time here and nobody could help me to find correct parts. Man with name Stan with long hairs in his 50-60’s was just talking with somebody about life not paying attention to customers. When I asked for help he looked at me like I ruined his whole day, when I tried to ask him a question again he made a view he doesn’t see me and passed by, even I called for him 3 times. 100% self service shop.

Just about everything you could ever need, at about three times the price you wanted to pay. Oh My GOD is this place expensive. You would think that they had some kind of monopoly on marine hardware and parts these days.... Oh, I guess they do. Generally cute cashier girls, completely unburdened by any sort of knowledge whatsoever. Which actually goes for most of the employees. They might be able to help you find something, but don't hope for anything beyond that.

This is a very well stocked West Marine. I needed a pump that wasn't available in the San Pedro store, but got it at the Long Beach one. The store had just about everything.

Boat parts are expensive so I'm glad we have several West Marines around long Beach CA. Stores are filled with many different items and staff are always ready to help. If they don't have it they will order it for you.Also want to mention that they are a Pet Friendly business and want to thank you for letting me bring in My buddy Kirby who turns on the charm when he goes in.

Great selection on everything boat related. Poor, rude and under trained staff. Everything is over priced but still a go to for all boat parts and accessories. There hassle free return policy isn't so hassle free. They make you feel like you're trying to cheat them.
