So, I never thought that I would write a review about a hardware store, but here I am. I was such a delightful experience that I feel compelled to do so. The customer service was ridiculously excellent. Immediately upon entering one of the employees asked us how he could help, told us that what we were looking for was upstairs then ran to get three versions of it at different price points. When we went to check out the one person was running two cash registers so no one felt like they were actually standing in line. They were just so super nice, competent and helpful. I love this store.

Went to the store and was greeted kindly by Emmanuel, he helped me find an even better alternative to what I originally was going to purchase and I'm so happy I did. Best customer service!

The older gentleman that's tall was extremely helpful and his whole attitude towards me made me feel like I was supposed to be there. I have been in this same Ace Hardware before and was followed around the store by multiple staff while being constantly asked the same question over and over again "can I help you find something specific"? "What is it you are exactly looking to buy"?? Feeling overwhelmed almost every time I usually exited the store before even finding what I was looking for to begin with. So this last time I went totally made me think and feel completely different about this store. This employee was non judgemental and helpful beyond anything I would normally ask for and I'm grateful for that! As for the store and the items, I find Ace to carry a way more broad inventory then most other hardware stores in the area!!

The staff are all 100% present, available for guidance and courteous. This is a downtown area, so the neighborhood can be sketchy, but I feel safe and sound, as they keep an eye on their parking lot, which is ample and close to the entrance. Their sidewalk SALE section has hidden finds and old hardware for commercial and residential applications, such as hinges, paint samples and cleaning supplies For being a smaller location, they have most of the essentials in stock and usually have lumber, for any last minute extras for General construction gigs. Plumbing, electrical, canning & gardening sections are all amply represented. I rarely have to leave the site zone, as my favorite, local Ace hardware is walking distance and always stocked for what I may need, while doing handyman tasks for my friends and neighbors.

Lately after me going to Ace hardware has been a challenge for me since I really don't live as close as I use to even though the people seem nice the problem occurred when I went in the other day to purchase something and of course the worker seemed kind and went and got it however after getting back home and today was the day I went to use it there was a huge problem wheres the cord that attaches tothe nozzle spray and the bottle so you can use it oh I know some where in the store and the gallon of spray was opened as well so that wasn't very courteous of the workerdo have sold an item like to me that was defective and so I am posting this in hopes that since you thought you could get away with this Don't worry God will take care of it

I've been shopping here 30 plus years and they always have what I want and surprise me when I don't think they have something they have it and I get help every time will always go back great place they have more play stuff stuff in there than you could imagine ×××update××× 12 23 22 Ace is still the place!!!!! I love the service here the employees here always acknowledge you when you walk in the door if they're not with customers they will help you find everything and I've noticed even when they're done with their customers they'll they'll all come over and help you and make sure you're getting everything you need I love it here now I love it here so much it brings tears to my eyes the service I get here thank you guys and keep up the work ****update 4 6 23*** Ace is still the place my go to hardware store!

This is probably one of the most helpful and friendly places I have shopped in a long time. It really does have one of those neighborhood shops where they are happy to help you, the way shop owners used to be long ago. Greeting you upon entry and if you have a question, they are quick in offering to help.However, with it being a neighborhood store, I'd like to see them install a bike rack outside. I rode my bike and had no place to lock it. I was allowed to take my bike in with me, but my rather large bike made it somewhat challenging to move around the store. One of the employees asked me what I needed then said he would get my items while I waited up front with my bike. They really know how to take care of the customer.I rarely, if ever give 5 stars but in my opinion they deserve it. From all the conversations, smiles and laughter I observed that day, I'd say this is their regular standard of care.

Go here if you need advice or want to ask questions. Two negatives, 1) women tend to be behind the counter, men are helpers on the floor - super 1970s sexism. 2) The shop floor helpers tail you around either from idleness or to deter theft. Hard to get used to a 6ft man tailing me when all I want is glue!*must be that they are overstaffed because I'm apparently not allowed to walk around the store by myself. If it's not a tail then I have every employer bellowing "do you need help". Am I not allowed to shop in peace? I am bloody capable of asking for help when I need it.If you need a guide every time you enter the store, maybe the store isn't set up with the customer in mind!

It's amazing how much they pack into such a small space. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I come here for pieces and parts and getting keys made. They have a decent tool selection as well which is pretty good for such a small place. Easy parking out front. Very well organized. Top notch.

I was at this ace's last week again and if they don't have what you're looking for they will find it or point you in the right direction, but they will find for sure. I need some more very bright light bulbs that I couldn't find any where else but here. The staff is very friendly also.Thanks,Ron

Awesome neighborhood hardware store, staff is pleasant and helpful, they carry a wide variety of items and the store is vlean and organized. Parking can be tricky, but worth the trip.

RUDE PEOPLE who follow you around due to tattoos. I showed an employee a hundred dollar bill I had in my hand as I shopped, and he replied with "its probably fake". Once again, I have never stolen from this store and went on to buy a variety of things. When I complained about my treatment, I was told usually people who "walk around" are suspicious, and i had a fanny pack on which means I'm stealing some how.I felt degraded and less than.The shop itself is crowded and overpriced with a mediocrity selection.Avoid this place like you avoid ebola.
