Ask them to give my dog a trim and they shaved him instead. They said his hair was too matted and didn’t want to comb him out. Charged $120 for simply shaving a dog when I asked them to trim him. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

The first time I used self-service my experience was excellent. The staff and supplies exceeded my expectations. The second time, I brought my own medicated shampoo for my dog. I was still charged for shampoo for a large dog. Also, the towels I was given were full of lint. One of the staff members told me I would have to leave in 5 minutes just because??? Anyway, my dog was not completely dry. I haven't been back.

I picked up my friends dog from being groomed. I first got “brushed shamed” by the groomer. “They don’t brush the dog enough “ I explained they just returned from vacay. Groomer told the employee that there was no charge for de-matting. Paid up and left. Immediately noticed itching. Not the norm for the pet. The dog continues to itch so much that hair is literally falling out. Owner noticed bumps/ scabs on the dog and I saw open wound under the dogs arm. It seems that the groomer had used so much force with the Furminator, it had cut the pups skin. Never seen this happen. She ended up having the pup groomed again from a mobile groomer and get this… needsno itching, not cut skin. There is a proper way to remove any mats, and this Furminator is not it. This groomer, older woman….

I had my Maltipoo groomed here last week for $70 and they cut her/shaved her too close on her stomach and one leg. UnacceptableI will never return. No one said anything about this when I picked her up and it was very obvious. Terrible ‼️ Forewarned is forearmed.

Did not notify me of dog having allergic reaction. Had to rush dog to emergency vet in tears a few months back due to a severe allergic reaction to something. Not blaming groomer, but just warning to others that they won’t make you aware of any problems. Person helping me had a nintendo tattoo on the back of their neck and didn’t answer when I called back twice to inquire afterwards if the rash was there before they groomed my dog.

Very helpful customer service. My wife and I had a lot of questions about our new puppy and the lady behind the counter was super helpful and gave us a lot of good pointers. I don’t know her name but she had neck tattoos and was great!

I have a maltipoo who is so loving and friendly but isn't fond of dog groomers. During pandemic our groomer left the state and we had to look for another. Jay from Belmont pets came to save the day. He is so gentle, loving, and does such a great job of keeping my pup groomed. I love that they put the needs of the pups first, that they are customer centric, and that they are reasonably priced. I would advise you book in advance because they are in demand. I usually book 2 or 3 appointments at once to make sure we are in.

The staff here is great! They are very kind and helpful, and pretty knowledgeable about pet nutrition and health. They are very accommodating to us when we have questions about getting new treats, needing supplements or cleaning supplies. They also carry the Primal Raw meat, which our doggo loves. They have good grooming services, too, at a fair price.

Michelle is awesome. I’ve dealt with her several times and every time I do she is helpful and so kind.I recently had to bring my chi back for a re-do on her nails. They missed many. She was so nice about it and re-did her nails and they turned out beautiful! I will continue to go this place and hope to run into Michelle again. 😊👍🏽 She also is extremely good and gentle with fussy dogs that don’t like their nails trimmed. Lol.

Love this little neighborhood gem! The staff there are super nice and fast. They trim my cat's nails in just a few minutes and no need to make appointment. Food prices are comparable to chains to nice to support local business.

I went in to purchase a product. The woman woman who greeted me and helped me find what I was looking for was pleasant, knowledgeable and very likeable. I will go into this shop again based on my first impression which was very good. I gave 4 stars not 5 due to only buying an item i called about and was handled very well. I want to go again and if still as positive will push to 5 stars

I had an appointment to get my cat groomed. They canceledbon me twice at the very last minute. One of that days I took the morning off work..it was that important to me..the second time I called to ask a question and that's how I found out. She said that I would be placed on a list and get a call back. That hasn't happened as of yet. Then when she called me back to tell me the groomer wasn't going to make it I let her know we had already spoken..the phone hung up. I expected her to call back but no.. I called back a week later and left a message to see if I could get an appointment and nothing.They were always nice which is refreshing. Just undependable.

Brought my dog here and was very satisfied with her cut. She was so cute and my dog seemed happy with her new look lol. I also liked the fact the staff called and thanked me for bringing in my dog. I'll definitely be coming back again

I have been meaning to update my google review. Keep your pets away. The staff straight lied.They are not good with pets. (aggressive)When I wrote my yelp review the owner reached out, and basically said the staff said nothing like this happened, yet I was there and witnessed it.below is my yelp review from my original experience.BEWARE don't take your pet to this place. Mine is still traumatized since the experience he had there I have been bringing Molly here for about 1 year and my other Dog Grimlock for about 6 mos. When I first took Grimlock I let them know he is very unsure of new people, That he needed to have someone who has patience, his breed is known for this, until they know you he's not comfortable.He does not bite or anything just moves out of the way if you try to touch him, if you are a stranger. We have spent a pretty penny on training, getting him certified as a service dog and he goes to an office every day. So he is very socialized now, and very well behaved. Unfortunately thou when it comes to a bath he just Hates it and goes back to day 1.He cries before we ever get out of the car. I have always felt reassured bringing him here because I have told them how he is, and they always reassure me and tell me oh he did great when I pick him up.Molly also hates going but she goes with it a little better,Now on This particular day when I took them both in, They were both crying not to go in, I feel like this is equivalent to going to the dentist for them , uncomfortable and its stressful for most dogs, not just mine. After a couple hours I called to see if they were ready, since I was having phone issues ( i did give them a back up number but I hate to make them wait in a kennel for no reason) and the girl on the phone said yes they are just finishing up Grimlock, I guess I got there sooner then they thought When I first walked in I let them know I was there for Molly and Grimlock, there were quite a few dogs there, blow drying going on very loud and busy. Not sure if they heard my voice or what, but I could here Grimlock start barking and whining. he wasn't doing that when I first walked in, but started up after I was talking to the front. . He is a Alaskan Klee kai and speaks a lot like a Huskey does, All of a sudden I hear a very loud and over the dryer someone screaming SHUTUP! not once not twice but 3 times.! Then I hear Molly start up obviously defending her brother I'm sure, As I tell the girl in the front, Why is that person yelling at the dogs,Its not right. and its unprofessional, Then I hear this lady again yelling at them to SHUTUP! I said please go get my dogs right now!The girls were very apologetic up front and said they would talk to the Manager and tell her not to do that.However there is nothing that anyone can say or do I was there and witness this myself, She does not need to be working with animals, I may spoil my dogs and I trust very few people with them. I do train and discipline them the correct way, the tone and volume of her shutup was abuse!!!! that wasn't even stern, that was acting like a big bully !!! My boyfriend nor I ever have had to use that tone, I spoke to our trainer and he agrees there was no need for her behavior especially when dogs are stressed out and its clear by his history there they know he gets nervous.When people drop off their pets somewhere and trust a place they don't expect the people to yell at them abuse their power in a sense. if you cant handle barking, light bulb find another job! there is saying NO?and then yelling at the top of your lungs over dryers and other dogs barking. A big difference. Ridiculous,I would think if you work with animals you love animals, but there is no way this lady has a pet loving bone in her body. I caught her acting this way when I came a little early, I can only imagine how she was when I wasn't there. We came in for a 1pm appt. this last Friday September 12th. 2014 I possibly could understand saying no very stern if my dogs were terrors, But I know for a fact they are not!!!!! because I was there.
