We go to see Dr Paul and love him & his staff. Always accurate & professional and "pretty good" with the needle 😁

Dr.Lynch and his staff are absolutely amazing! My cat had a tail injury and I needed him to be seen asap and was able to walk in and wait and had his surgery same day! Dr.Lynch is friendly and honest. I’m thankful I found this place and they took great of my cat during and after his surgery.

I trust Dr. Lynch with all my dogs. I’ve been with Dr. Lynch for years. He’s kept my dogs healthy and has saved a few of my dogs lives. I love the staff and how they treat us and treat my dogs, before and or after surgery.I won’t think twice about where I will take my fur babies if ever an emergency arises or just vaccinations. Thank you Lawndale Pet Hospital for all you do.

Dr Lynch & Lawndale Pet Hospital went above and beyond taking care of my dog. We woke up to him throwing up blood and it turned out he had a bleeding tumor in his intestine that required emergency same day surgery. They fit him in and were able to complete the successful removal of the large mass/send to lab for testing. My pup was in critical condition, but the Dr was extremely responsive and helpful with direction during his two week recovery. Happy to say that our dog is on the mend. Highly recommend Dr. Lynch and the team!

I like this hospital, they take good care of your furry family. Since it's not appointment based, first you wait in line to get registered. Then they tell you approximately how long till you will be called in. After they call you in, it goes smoothly and efficiently. You might have a shirt wait in the lobby till they prep your room. The staff and doctors are very nice and friendly.

Walk in appointments are unheard-of these days and prices are very reasonable compared to other vets in the area. A breath of fresh air! Brilliant!

Nice employees at the clinic, at competitive pricing. David is a very good tech, and gentle with my dog. It is appreciated.

Absolutely the best vet experience of my life. Don't get your dog's teeth cleaned anywhere else.

I don't know why most vet clinics ( that did have walk-ins before) moved away from walk-ins. Pets are fragile and cats for example hide their illness from owners due to their natural instincts. You need walk-ins for pets more often than not. For that I really appreciate this place! I also appreciate the kindness, compassion, and sincere empathy especially displayed by the vet tech. I think his name was Ethan or Nathan. I am bad with names. He spent a lot of time explaining things and wasn't rushing us as we were facing a difficult situation with our angel. The trade off is you have to wait sometimes longer than you might want to is that: understanding that the vet or tech is spending time in regards to pet patient care vs rushing a person in and out. It must be hard to find a balance with that. For me I would gladly wait a long time knowing that they are taking the time needed to explain something important to another pet owner in the back. This was our first visit here. Thank you and RIP our precious, adorable angel Minnie!

The only place available for walk-ins but it comes at a cost. Every time I've been pressed for a vet I've left feeling raw about it. I care for animals in my neighborhood so I have many instances to recoil. Recently I took a well maintained dog for a hot spot and they charged me $575. 3 weeks later my sister in law took in her new kitty for a flu and they charged her over $600. I frequently visit the other vets in the Area (Animal medical center on Doty & Hawthorne Dog and Cat hospital on Hawthorne Blvd) and never feel like I'm being taken advantage of. I would not recommend this place unless you are in a pinch and can spare the extra cash.

I’ve been bringing my dogs to Lawndale Pet Hospital for over 20 years now and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Vet tech Mel is the absolute best! My Dalmatian always gets so excited to see her and she treats him as if he was her own. Highly recommend this vet.

Not the best example for medical professionals, the staff is incredibly un-helpful, the Doctor here ā€œLynchā€ not exactly a professional. Too many mistakes too many times. I’ll take my chances somewhere els.

I called this pet hospital looking for a second opinion about my dog’s need for a tooth extraction but he also has a heart condition, which made it a bit more complicated. Toni answered the phone and was so kind and patient with all of my questions. When we met with the technician Neidi, she explained all the procedures and costs without rushing through the info to get to the next patient. She even recommended I look into getting CareCredit when I told her I couldn’t afford all the costs. When I met Dr Lynch, he was so friendly and gave his recommendations but didn’t pressure or shame me into making a quick decision. He personally called me after our dog’s dental surgery. Even after we chatted and I had more questions, the hospital staff treated me with the same kindness. At our former vet, I consistently felt as though I was inconveniencing the staff when I asked for clarification or an explanation about my dog’s behavior or medicine needs. I didn’t know being treated so kindly at the vet was even a possibility! The best part is that when we arrived the next day for my dog’s surgery, he didn’t hide or shake while waiting in the examination room. In fact, he walked around wagging his tail as though he didn’t have a care in the world. This showed me how comfortable he felt in this new environment. This has been the most wonderful experience, both for me and my dog. I can’t recommend Lawndale Pet Hospital enough; we will only be coming here for our dog’s care from now on.

DO NOT COME HERE. Dr Lynch is soul-less, aggresive with your pet, and overcharges. I paid over $1000 for xray and stitches for Dr Lynch to admit that he did not even look at the xray. I noticed my cat had a broken tail in the xray (days later) and I had to ask him why he didn’t notice that when he took them. He only wants your money and does not care about your pet.

I called before going to see If walk-ins were ok, they totally were. Staff was very friendly especially the vet, I could definitely hear all the conversations though happening on the other side of the wall where the staff was at and it was a bit entertaining to listen to (especially when you are just sitting by yourself in a room for over 30 mins). We bring most of our pets here since they're accommodating and reasonably priced

I cannot thank the staff enough especially Ms. Susie Waters! We rescued a little 4lb chihuahua roughly 10 months ago and estimate her age to be around 9 yrs. Her teeth (what was left of them) were horrendous. She needed a dental something awful. Not knowing any of her back story plus her very teeny size and age made us so nervous about the whole procedure (that absolutely needed to be done) The amount of care prior to and after was beyond amazing for our little Lilly! She is a whole new dog!!! She is so happy! Her little dragon breath is GONE! And she is eating so well now!!! Poor thing could hardly chew prior to having the dental. Do not hesitate to take your fur baby to them, I cannot recommend them enough. BTW I, myself have worked in and out of the veterinary field for some 30 years and Lawndale Pet Hospital is BY FAR the cleanest and most conscientious hospital I have ever been in!!

DON'T TAKE YOUR PET TO THIS HOSPITAL!Took my dog for a dental cleaning. My dog's pre- examination with the vet was a SO fast, like he was on a rush. Went straight to the computer, didn't even asked for any health concerns or questions and quickly gave me an estimate of 800+ depending on the extractions needed. I was somewhat surprised because the previous year total was around 600. He seemed annoyed by my comment and sent an assistant to go over the estimate.Total ended up being $960. WAY OVERPRICED.The only reason I came to the hospital was because I don't remember getting a bad service before but definitely not coming back after this.I had to go back because of an issue with the medication and to let them know that they also cut two of my dog's nails too short that they cut its quick and they even told me anything when I picked her up. Not verbally, not written. The least they can do is let the owner know so they can be careful, I noticed the dried blood around her nails. So I went back the next day, Cristina in the reception had a really bad attitude and didn't show any empathy whatsoever. She shouldn't be seating at front if she doesn't understand what customer service is.Dental radiographs $150,x ray additional view $49,catherization iv $55,prophylaxis $250,dental extractions $48 each (last year was $28), overpriced medicine (that is online for half the price)nail trimming $27And some other stuff that they add like they also tried some expensive dental water additive that you can get online for $10.Oh and even if you have an appointment they have you line outside to check in and then they call you when they have a room available. They helped us after 1h+

Horrible. First, my dog ended up with a horrible rash after getting shots here, they did not take accountability. Furthermore, just the other day I went to buy my dog the comfortis flea meds and out of nowhere they're saying you now have to pay $45 for a physical on top of the $18 for the meds...in which I was NEVER notified by phone, email, or mail regarding the changes, even though I've been bringing my dog there for 3 years. So imagine going to the vet to get the meds because your dog ended up with fleas from being around another dog and you get there with only enough cash for only the meds JUST to find out they've made up some new rule so they can get more money out of you. 3 years going here and no sympathy. So I made a long drive there for nothing and had to get flea spray instead. My dog still hasn't healed from the reaction on his back leg from the shots

We took our 8 month old dog to get neutered and we had a great experience. It was our 1st time taking our dog here and they treated us very nice and were great with our dog. They were very informative about the procedure and they told us step by step about post surgery as well.

The female technicians and the front office girls are super awesome...I found a mommy cat and 4 kittens 2 weeks old...FOUND!! I took them in to make sure they were OK..The doctor charged me and office visit for each individual kitten plus the mommy..I was irritated as heck...I found these poor kittens..They weren't my personal cats that I brought in..I think he could have given me a little break? The 1st thing he said to me was, are you ready to spend some money?! "No!"when I walked out of that place my bill was $690.15Not to mention I was there for 3 hours... Office visit per cat was $60I definitely do not recommend this vet..But there is a great vet that I do recommend!Harbor medical center..Low cost due to spade clinic on Harbor and heil in Fountain Valley..office visit is $30..I told the doctor I did not want to have the mommy cat vaccinated until she was done nursing.. He did it anywayNewborns only receive the antibodies from the colostrum in the first 36 hours of nursing, and the vaccine will take a week or more to fully affect the immune system. If the mother needs vaccination, it's best to wait until after weaning, when the stress of pregnancy and nursing is removed.Aug 2, 2016

This place is off the chart in customer service. The staff is super compassionate and caring. I had to take my 17 year old dog in to be euthanized. It was very emotional for me. The receptionist and all the staff were so understanding and supportive. The doctor was very patient and understanding. He explained the process to me. I was afraid and the doctor explained that it would be painless and very dignified for my dog, and it was. The doctor waited for my husband and son to arrive. The staff checked in on us and brought Kleenex in for me. The doctor and all of the staff assured us that we could take all the time we needed before starting and after our dog was euthanized. We didn’t feel rushed, and the entire staff comforted and supported all of us through the whole process. Thank you for being beyond amazing!

People here are caring. Dr has helped my cat thru an abscess surgery and helped me treat my cat for asthma. I do recommend eventually having your pet on an insurance to help with bills bc anything can happen besides the routine exams and vaccines. I'm a groomer and lots of my clients come here to get their vaccines. I love this place bc it's also urgent care and not stuck booking appointments. Although it can get busy and sometimes i have waited a while for the Dr to see me it beats waiting weeks for an appointment like many other places. To the front desk ladies and the back vet techs and Dr, thank you!

This is such a wonderful place to take your loving pet. Dr. Lynch took great care of my dog. Assessed all of my dog's needs and answered any concerns I had. He is very upfront and honest with you. He also does his best to work with you on the costs of care up front so that you know what your in for. His Staff is very friendly and have very pleasant attitudes. U don't see them goofing off or not doing what they are suppose too in the office. Very curteous and kind to every one that I have seen so far. This place is extremely well kept and clean and the best part is that there is surveillance everywhere with is amazing. I'm glad I found this place since I've moved in this area. Thanks Dr. Lynch And Staff!
