This place is great! We were in search of a nice RV park and this place has easy access to the water, friendly staff, clean sites and good distance from neighbors. Pretty quiet area and no noise from the highway. Small little park on site for kids to play. Wish it had a bigger convenience store for last minute items. Driving to nearest store not so close. About a 10-15 minute drive back to town for market items. All spots were clean and well kept. Safe for kids to ride their bikes.

Antlers resort is absolutely perfect! We camped overnight at the A46 location and couldn't be happier. Quiet, peaceful and stunning view of the river. Will definitely be staying again on our trip back. Plus, the squirrels are hilarious. They stole my peanut butter jar and busted the cap open! Demolished an entire bag of chips, helped themselves to some sprite and then laid around everywhere! 🤣. Loved it

Best campgrounds we've stayed at.Used the tent sites, & all of their tent sites were nice.Nearby restrooms 3 bathroom stalls & 3 shower stalls. There's even a laundry room.Fire pits were good too. The tent sites were SPACIOUS too I mean for my party of 6, we had 3 large tents with space & 2 trucks parked out of the way. Our site even had 2 benches. The shade provided by the trees was great, because as hot as it was, when we were present at our site we enjoyed relaxing underneath the shade.Front office staff were all very nice Saydra, Ricky & Whitney. All friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. There's also a campground store & grill. Grill food was fresh & bomb. Store part was great they carried a variety of things; ice, sunblock, water toys, camp lights, wagon, & so much more. They even have cute souvenir clothing, shirts, tanks, long sleeves, sweaters, hoodies, sun hats, sunglasses. The deck has great benches with umbrellas for shade with a great view of the lake. There's corn hole just have to ask for the bean bags. Mondays there's bingo. There's a pool 5ft. deep you have to leave a $20 deposit for the key at the front desk. Wood is cheaper here than at the Chevron.Campgrounds FAVE was the frosty (ice cream)Every morning when I went to use the bathroom, I witnessed staff cleaning the restrooms. So HUGE thank you to them for that. They even empty the trash bins throughout the day, through out the day you can catch someone on the golf cart roaming the campgrounds to make sure everything & everyone is good. There was always hot water, & cold water when needed. In the middle of the campgrounds there's a FUN playground with swings for the kids. There's even a basketball court & volleyball court too. This campgrounds is located in a great area too. Walking distance to the Antlers Marina(dock), short drive to a bunch of great swimming spots.A bit pricier than a few spots that we've stayed at but this campgrounds is WORTH IT! Definitely going to return, alsooooo upon checking out when I was at the office to double check if I needed to do anything else there was a long line in front of me of campers planning on returning too, booking their dates for 2024!!

Was passing through and decided to stay at antlers. We have a 36ft class A Motorhome and I must say, the spots are huge!!! They don’t put you shoulder to shoulder like a lot of RV Parks. You actually had room to run the dog and hangout without feeling like your neighbor joined you on the trip. Good job Antlers! You can’t find many places these days that don’t try to maximize their profit leaving travelers and campers shoulder to shoulder. We have also previously stayed in there cabins. That was nice. But the only complaint is their tiny swamp air conditioners couldn’t keep up with the heat and damn near gave us heat exhaustion. But none the less it was all great.

I have never been here before, my first time joining family here, who have been coming for years. Had a great time. Only two snags. First I got a parking ticket/warning saying I was parked in a non parking area. However, I was told by a man drinking a golf cart, that I can park there since I'm handicapped and Second the bathroom near A95 - A96 overflowed with sewage everywhere. The Staff quickly got a handle of it and kept us informed. Overall 5 stars. Staff and other campers were quite friendly. And All you can eat Pancakes on Sunday what's not to love about this place.

Man this place was a happy accident! We booked online with the National Park one and ended up here accidentally. We were tent camping and the spots were great and well kept. Bathrooms were clean with great showers that were free to use. They have a nice little store on site which has all you can eat pancake breakfast on Sundays and Bingo on Saturday nights. Not to mention a great playground and pool for the kids. Oh and another thing about the tent sights, some of them are huuuuge! And all the sites cost the same amount which is amazing. We will definitely be back next year!

Great location with easy access to Marina and rentals of all kinds. Very friendly staff. No beach or place for kids to play on the water. There is a pool but it was down when duong our stay. Bathrooms are older and playground is central. RV spots are fairly small and narrow. You'll be close to your neighbors with little privacy. That being said, we come to spend our time on the water. Fishing is good and the weather is amazing. Bring lots of sunscreen.

Antlers is like many places hitting some hard times. I've been there before when ît was in prime condition and it was quite delightful. But with lake Shasta having fallen to record low levels they aren't able to even launch their houseboats and other things. And the lake no longer exists up where they are. That doesn't mean that you can't have a nice time there, but it cannot offer some of the things that used to be. Still recommended.

The bad rating doesn't indicate the potential of this place which is HUGE. We understand the campground owners went under and the marina owners took over the campground. With the water levels down for so many years it will take a good cash flow year, we're sure, to get this campground back to glory. It has such amazing potential but the grounds, bathrooms, everything.....were just a disaster when we were there. We tried to make the best of it and hope that the best is yet to come for this place.Note to the owners - you have an absolute gem in Jessie. He showed us some house boats on the dock then when we told him of the condition of the women's restroom - he stopped what he was doing (at 6 pm) and immediately went up to clean it apologizing 10 times. Keep him!We hope things improve as we'd love to come back.

A nice place to stop for a few days, with access to the lake and full hookups. Far enough off the road to be mostly quiet (barring the very occasional train.) Nice, helpful staff made our after hours checkin without a reservation absolutely painless. Sites are not too secluded, but all in all the best campground in the area. Will definitely be coming back.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the place is very run down. I wouldn't take a shower without flip flops. Our site didn't have a bear box which made us nervous especially when we heard other campers shooing bears away. We won't be back.

We didn’t even stay 4 hours it was such a miserable experience. Camp sites are packed together without shade, roads are so narrow part of our friends RV got broken off on the road. Did I say... Zero shade in the 100+ degree weather. The neighbors fire pit was 3-5 feet from ours... The map of the camp sites made it appear we were right off the water And I even asked when booking if we were close to the water, they said yes. Well we’d be close to the water if we jumped off the 20 foot cliff into the water below! Save yourself the trouble and money, because we spent $200 Per camp site on this miserable non refundable “Adventure.”

Nice spot on the north side of the lake. They own 2 campgrounds here, so plenty of space available. Lots of family history and helpful staff. Show up when the ice cream machine is running. We did not swim here.

Place was pretty much a dump. Staff was friendly but that's about the only nice thing I can say. RV spots were VERY tiny so there was zero privacy & conversations were heard by all. Overall, the rv park felt a little grungy. We saw an employee driving around in a golf cart so we thought noise restrictions would be enforced at 10 pm but they weren't. There was a party going on 3 spots over from ours that reminded me of frat parties I'd been to in college. Lots of loud, crappy music with whooping & hollering by one particularly inebriated young female. The only way to drown out the noise was to turn our fan on in our rv. I felt sorry for the poor young men who were trying to sleep outside next to our spot. There was a pool as advertised, however, it was small & required a $10 refundable deposit to use.The only people I would recommend this park to are boaters who want to drink heavily all day & night long. It's conveniently located next to a marina. If you have family & aren't too excited to listen to parties all night long, stay far, far away.

So they told us we could fit our 39ft motorhome through the campground. If you have anything about that size DON’T GO THERE. We could BARELY fit between a Jeep that was parked at a house and rocks on the other side. We got scratches in our motor home because of it.. also they never gave us an update about our power & water turning off. If we would have known we would have filled our RV with water. No one called to tell us. Then we wanted WIFI. I called 3 different numbers I was given. No one answers. I left voicemails. No one called back. We paid a lot of money and had one of the worst camping experiences we have ever been on.The pictures on their website are deceiving. 100% don’t recommend going here. They have very poor communication and clearly don’t know what size of RVs can fit in their campsites.

I did not like this place. It is very run down and not like the website pictures. The office and the store seemed to have an issue with each other. The office told me I could get a pool key from the store ( the pool is right by the store). When I went to get the key they told me that I had to go to the office for the key. It was 100 degrees and not near the pool. They said the store wasn't collecting the key deposit like they were supposed to so they gave the store limited keys. The next day I went to the store to return my key ( figured they could get my $5.00 key deposit from the office themselves). They were going to make me go to the office and I said, "do not make me go to the office!!". I think this place has forgotten who their customer is! One day I needed to do laundry. The laundry room has no change so I went to the store. I told them I just needed change for laundry. They wanted me to wait while they helped someone. This was fine but apparently I prompted said customer that they also needed change. After they were done helping her they didn't have enough change so once again I was told to go to the office! Ugh!!!! The office took a while to find me a roll of quarters. Put in a damn change machine in the laundry room and solve the problem! We also weren't given any info about where anything was when we checked in. We had to go back and ask all kinds of questions. The pool is small and there isn't a good place for non swimmers to wade in the water at the lake. It is a ledge that drops off sharply. The 30 amp outlet was only 109 volts and not 120 like it is supposed to be. We had originally wanted to stay 3 nights but they said we would have to move for the 3rd night. Once we saw how small the spots were and how uncooperative they were we cancelled our 3rd night and of course we couldn't get our money back. I didn't care I forfeited the money and picked another place! I won't go back there!!!!!!

Nice property, clean spacious sites. Down side crowded bathrooms, 10 am check out and you will echo at night no matter how quiet you are you'll have security come and tell you they're going to call the sheriff. Forcing you to abid by their curfew.

Nice and clean! There are no bear boxes and bear resistant bins though so they get black bears quite often, which is a pity when comparing to the cheaper state campgrounds. The ground might be a bit dry and dusty for tents.

Oh Hell NO!! Not only did they charge us extra for 2 more people (we are a family of 4) but a pet fee as well. This was after making the reservations via the phone and talking to the campsite clerk. $58.00 is WAY TOO MUCH!! This campground is dusty, dirty and you are backed up against each other with campers who look like they live in the campground with crap everywhere. Online photos are extremely misleading. No thank you, we will eat this cost gladly!! Keep driving to Green Gate RV Park 15 or so more miles!!!!

One should get some bear education for camping box. Private campground can not afford bear proof trash cans. Workers at office were Wonderful young people. One should ask for clarification about general store and office deposits for keys and ping pong paddles.

Nice campground perfectly located on a tributary of Shasta Lake. Also in-between the town of Shasta and Redding for additional points of interest. Many spots are wide with plenty of room and trees in between each other. Staff is always so friendly and helpful without being intrusive and the grounds are very well maintained. WiFi can be spotty but complaining about that seems counter to the point of being there in the first place.
