Good service. You might want to put some stuff outside to look open. I thought you were closed.The help there is so good and helpful. Clean store and nice clerks. Keep it up Petco. The food they recommended for my terrier Zoey she loves. She had surgery on her teeth and pulled a few and it was hard for her to eat kibble. They showed me the soft food and I appreciate it. Thank you, and Zoey thanks you too. Picture below of Zoey is back from vet and a little swollen in the mouth and she is very high lol

Extremely disappointed with our experience at the grooming salon. Our dog was there for 7 hours and was very thirsty when we picked him up. After bringing up my concerns about the long wait with the employee checking me out I was rudely told “well… grooming takes time” - no apology or reason for the extremely long wait. Then after paying extra for nail buffing, they brought my dog out and told me they weren’t even able to trim his nails (probably because he had been sitting in a kennel for 5-6 hours). I then had to specifically ask for that extra fee to be refunded.I could probably let some of that go if the haircut had actually been good quality. Unfortunately it wasn’t well done and was uneven in multiple places. His legs, stomach, and “pee” area we’re not even trimmed down.Definitely won’t be returning in the future.

Customer service is great! Rebecca was very kind and helped me find a dog food and then Jackie who rang me up was super sweet and helped me save alot of money on the bag of dog food I was purchasing. She showed me how to access my rewards and use the app. for future purchases. Thank you guys!

I purchased a dog training package for our 4 month-old family dog. Dawn, the trainer, helped me save money on the package and was flexible with training schedule. My family and I saw great results after one round of lessons and decided to take another. We're happy with the results and are bonding more than ever with our dog. We will probably continue lessons with dawn for the foreseeable futur

There was a shortfall of flavors of Taste of the Wild wet dog food. Other stores I go to had a wide variety of flavors and each flavors are the same price. Most of the time they are out of stock

On 12/2 I went to the Animal Valley in Wildomar to look at adopting a cat. I found information on a cat that was at Petco and decided to go to Petco and see the cat.The staff was no where to be found. We, went back on Monday and decided to adopt the cat that we had seen. This was an Animal Valley adoption through petco. I filled out the paperwork in front of "Debbie" Deborah ( the heavy set, dark hair, manger) and X the area of declawing. I was thinking it meant to trim it's nails... and she turned on me and said NO! I filed out the area in front of her and even asked if they did it there. Granted I meant trim the cats nails. I am not a vet nor do I know the proper terminology. She said she had to send the app to the animal center and they would call me with an approval. She was rude about it. So I waited and no call for 2 days. We decided to go back 12/5 to Petco and this Debbie? manager was the most rude person and laughed the entire time. She said it was my job to call... and would not be clear about ANYthing. We were not pleased with her shortness to us. We decided to call customer service and file a complaint about her. Her own co worker that was there pulled us to the side and agreed she was rude to us. I went to the Animal shelter and find out about the application and first they couldn't even find it. Finally they found it and they said I could not adopt anything from them. They said "Debbie has called and said we put a complaint about her and treated me as if I had horrible intentions. One lady even looked at me as if she was there and saw everything. Debbie literally called and put in a bad word on us. This is not right! Unless you have proof that I'm unfit or history of this I shouldn't have been treated that way. It was a miscommunication of the proper terminology.I read some reviews here and see that I am not the only one complaining about this manager. Let's hope the company reads these reviews and actually bring her behavior to question. Customer service is NOT what it use to be.

I took my 6 month old puppy and Aurora was my groomer she did an amazing job with her will definitely take her back. Also to the Salon Manager Annmarie was very helpful and was able to provide care and advice to my concerns after grooming Thank you girls!!

Omg my hamster lasted 3 years from there very nice I have to say I would go back and when we got the hamster this employe was so nice and told us all about hamsters and how to care for them and he lasted a long time I definitely recommend this place.😆

Staff is always super friendly, and with the vital care program, it makes things slightly more affordable. The 10$ off anything a month per pet is amazing, and discounts on all foods, treats, everything really. Plus, if your pet won't use something, be it food, clothes, or kennel, they accept returns even if opened/used/slightly broken, just hold onto your receipt or have your number on file for them to look it up.All of the staff are friendly even when you can see in their eyes that they may be having a rough day and truly love interacting with the animals brought into the store. Standout employees are Nicholas, Rebecca (i know I've spelled her name wrong, but i can't remember how to spell it), and Aurora. All of them display A-level customer service and care.Aurora in grooming is an angel. She makes my huskies go from sled dogs to puppy puppy again in just a few hours. She is super knowledgeable and can tell by the grooming session if I've taken them out mudding, if they were fighting, and even that my female was starting heat and should get fixed. I take the 2 into her care once a month, and they actually love going to their "spa day."

Petco is a good place with excellent customer service but Vetco is the opposite. They have incompetent people that work for them. We've been using Vetco for years and never had a problem until this last time. We always have them refill our dogs' fler/tick meds when we get their vaccination. This time they forgot to put it in for both my dogs and we couldn't fill the prescriptions without another appointment to go see the vet. This cost my dogs a month without meds. Vetco's customer service is in the Caribbean and they were the most useless help I've ever spoken with. Will not use Vetco or recommend them.

I ordered a terrarium online for store pickup and when I got there with my toddler in tow and saw it in person I realized I might need to come back with help but the staff here were incredible and SO friendly! I didn’t even have to help load it into my truck. Totally blown away. I came from Murrieta because they only had the terrarium I wanted in Lake Elsinore and without a doubt I would go back to Lake Elsinore based on staff alone. Thanks again! You made a huge difference in my day :)

The staff was helpful although they didn't have many on the floor at that time. They helped me find something I needed for my dog 🐕 and even gave me suggestions & sat with me for a couple minutes in the isle to help me with a sizing chart to get the best fit! 👍🏼🙂

Visited the Petco branch in Lake Elsinore as me and my fiance were looking to adopt a hamster. Zachery assisted and helped us find the right hamster. He was very educational and taught us all the necessities in raising a hamster. He was very friendly, approachable, and will definitely look for him if we need some health advises for our hamster. Overall the experience in Petco Lake Elsinore was great! Seemed like everyone in the store really cares about their customers and their pets. Highly recommended!

I Have been there several times over the years with a fairly decent experiences but sense the pandemic began ive had to go there more often than before. Now when I go there every time time I go to the fish department i have to deal with the heavy set girl with short black hair to help customers in the fish department she is never around there so she always has to be paged to help you and you wait forever for her to show up every time when she does get there to finally help you she is extremely rude to you the whole time she is helping you.. the first few times this happened I figured i caught her on a bad day or she is going through difficulties (unknown to a customer that stops into get what they need on average once a week) that put her in a bad mood. But after many experience of the same thing and my wife experience the same problem when she was there by herself its clear she is just a very rude individual and she should not being working a position where she has to deal with customers because it an excruciating experience every time you have to deal with. All that being said you've lost a customer that would stop there at least once a week who now won't go there anymore because of this employees rudeness and attitude and will gladly drive out of the way to go to a your competitors store were the employees are nicer and easier to work with when your there shopping & spending money!I Highly advise all customers to not shop here and to shop at their competitors store instead!!! You will be glad you did!!!

Took my dog there for grooming a month ago where she was turned away for a cut, totally understandable so I rescheduled once she was healed. Took her again and the groomer stated she couldn’t clip her nails or properly trim her face because my dog wasn’t cooperating. Both main reasons why I went. I got to the store early to pick her up, where I watch her groom my dog, she was calm and not nipping that whole time. She didn’t even offer a discount for the services not provided. I’ve taken her plenty of times to a groomer in a different state and she was always great. Don’t recommend first time pets here, seems like they only care about their regulars.

I have never been to a business that 20mins before they close they won't sell you any fish. The heavy set woman that was in the fish area chatting up another customer that she got him fish, didn't want to get me any. Here it is 20mins before closing and she claims it takes too much time to bag them up. You scoop water out of the aquarium your getting your fish from, pick out the fish and put them in the container, when your done you pour it in a bag and tie it. Business hours are just that hours of doing business. Someone needs to teach these lazy employees what is the meaning of their job. Not for a customer to be told no.
