It was okay this has to be the smallest Walmart I have ever been into there was a good selection of fruits and vegetables but a lot of the shelves were empty I was able to find everything that I went in there for so I didn't really have a problem. I'm probably not going to ever go back to this Walmart again it was just a one-time thing cuz I needed a few things and it was the closest Walmart near by. but it's not a bad store.

My daughter needed peppermint extract. I googled it and found it in stock here. This was the first time at this market. I have to say I was impressed with the neat and clean appearance. Also, how friendly and helpful the staff were. I asked where the molasses was. The young lady took me to find it. Less than a minute I had it in hand. I will definitely come back here.

I needed to go grocery shopping, and I switched to Walmart from Ralph's and Amazon Fresh after visiting Florida in March 2024 and shopping there with my sister. They have incredible prices, and even better, they have pre-packaged veggies and ranch dip that are healthy if you go very lightly on the dip. These are now a staple in my diet!I read another review that this store was never bustling when another person went, and I dreaded going to a supercenter around noon on the weekend! So, I drove over the hills through Turnbull Canyon and headed to La Puente.The other review was accurate; there were a good number of people there, but it was not busy, and a reasonable number of people were waiting at the checkout. I had a very full cart since I had shopped for a bit, and I was disappointed that there was only one cashier. She had a "Lane Closed" sign on her conveyor, and the light was out. My gut said that she may have been trying to divert people away from her lane, but that was just a feeling, not actual knowledge, cause she was checking someone out.So I headed to the self-checkout with all $200 worth of my stuff, patiently scanning each item and bagging it. I would have felt bad if someone had gotten in line behind me. Also, at least two lanes had red lights on them so people couldn't use them.I was really impressed by how clean it was—even the men's room. I could get almost everything I wanted, but they didn't carry the Healthy Choice Max meals. I found everything else. There could have been a better selection of grab-and-go sandwiches and hot foods. I also couldn't find the 12-grain sliced bread loaf, probably because I got there about noon.I'd go back if I'm in the area, though I will more likely go to the supercenter stores closer during the middle of the week.

I went to buy something today, but I didn't know which one was covered by WIC, so I swiped it twice. I asked the staff, and a female employee was particularly impatient and gave me a cold look. She also talked about it with other employees, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I will never patronize such a store again.

It’s absurd that they need to lock up items at this store as they have buttons to press for support, yet no one ever comes! You need to go look for a staff to unlock a $2 nail clipper

I just wanna saw wow!!I usually come in one the weekends and there’s this employee that works there named Sebastian!He’s so courteous and really sweet!Every time I have a question- even if it’s just about my phone and not just shopping- he’s so quick to answer and give me a full depth response. He’s only a teen so I’m really surprised how amazing he is at his job!Every time I’m there he’s cleaning and helping customers (I definitely did not clean like him when I had my first job all those years ago 😂😬)The remodel looks AMAZING as well and I believe they are making a pickup station soon 😯!God Bless Y’all!😇✝️🙏

This store is amazing and convenient! I went in and got all of my produce and skincare.Sebastian was really amazing helping me find some stuff and giving insight on some products. He even helpedme carry my heavy items and was really nice!Also, when I went to send some money a few days later, Michelle was really helpful and efficient. Only took me a few minutes to send money to my mom in Mexico!10/10 Would definitely come again and recommend everyone to come here!

Wow! This place is horrendous 😡I used to love this place, but recently it’s gone downhill. Most of the employees are really nice, but some are really rude!!Madi is always just so mad. Every time I go she makes my shopping experience horrible, especially because she is always in a bad mood and rude to me and other customers.My final straw is when the self checkout lady Madi accused me of stealing!!! I had scanned all my items, but she still went up to me and said, “MA’AM YOU DIDN’T SCAN YOUR ITEMS, GO BACK AND PAY FOR THEM!”I showed her my receipt and went to cry in my car. I have never been treated so horribly in a store!Never coming here again and neither is any of my family members! 😡😢

Lady standing behind the table where they sell candy and chips needs to be nicer. She has a b face and is always in a bad mood, and even answers rudely to her own coworkers. Her fellow worker asked her a simple question to help a customer (me), and she yells and gets all defensive. This isn't the first time, everytime i shop here and she's there, she has an angry look. Like stop being delusional Felicia, and don't assume people are there to bother you. If we approach you is because you work there, and people always have questions or need help.

A wonderful experience! I made the decision to visit this mall to buy some shoes, and fortunately I was able to locate one just in time. The people are quite polite, and the retail mall is very well-furnished, therefore I will surely recommend it to everyone. A beautiful location to be in! strongly advised!

I walked in there and I was dressed nice so I don't understand why I received such a dirty look when I politely asked were an Item was the lady gave me the wrong information and walked away. I asked about a food item she pointed me to a craft section. Very rude bad information.

5 secret shoppers shadowing you at any given moment, only one checkout stand open and the employee can’t figure out how to process a digital gift card. Understandably so given the neighborhood is on the verge of being labeled a 3rd world country.

There's only 2 regular registers and ALL the rest are self checkout registers.... and they don't work well, so the employees have to often help the customers checking out "by themselves"... ignoring everyone else

Always helpful and the staff is great. They do need at least 3 or 4 electric scooters. They have 2 but one has been out of order for awhile. I had to wait while another customer finished using the operating one but it was no problem since I could sit on the non operating one. But this store is wonderful.

Great place to find quick items for my crazy recipes. This location has a wide variety of ethnic food items that are priced economically! 5 stars for friendly service, and self-checkouts! Try the deli, they make a sub 6ft sandwich for about $50- ask for the sub to be sliced, and veggies on the side! Great for parties! Order 2 days ahead 🥪

They are carrying less and less stock. It's not a good place to run in quickly for something because when I'm going for 2 or 3 things, they usually don't have at least one item that I'm looking for. Service is ok at the register, but inside of the store, no one is available to help, not even when you ring for assistance at the bell by the make up. I gave up waiting after 10 minutes of no one coming. Rated in 2019.Today, Sept 2021, not one single cashier was working a checkout. Every customer was forced to use the self checkout. They should lower the prices in compensation for the public doing their own cashier work. They have taken away from local businesses by offering convenience, but are not offering the actual customer service that human interaction provides.

There was an employee there at 9:55 PM more eager to end his shift than to help a customer. I asked for assistance and instead of helping he went and took off his vest and got someone else to do it. What happened to going above and beyond for your employees. I work in customer service and as much as it sucks to have that last customer I would never turn them away.

there’s an old lady skinny about 5’5 (had her name tag behind a white paper.. figures) blonde or white hair up to shoulders is a rude ** i asked a girl working cashier if she knows about a product being in the store or if she’s seen them come in recently she apologized and directed me to their customer service area. i asked the old lady if she knew about the product or if she can look up the location if it was in stock before she didn’t even try, didn’t direct me to where it could be. said if it’s not in store we don’t have it, with an attitude. i’m a quiet person so i said thanks and left. don’t go to this store for a specific item because there’s a great chance it won’t be there. i didn’t want to waste gas (5.90)so i shopped around. lots of the items i wanted were gone ,i left with two juice boxes. useless walmart in existence
