I really enjoy this place, clean, up kept, the set ups are nicely structured so you can see everything easily. Great corals, they sometimes give you deals upon their deals which definitely makes you appreciate their customer service. I have purchased 90% of my corals from SD Corals.

Was visiting the area and happened to see this store. At first I was just looking and was greeted by the kind gentleman working behind the counter. When I thought I knew what I wanted he was happy to answer all my questions. He even ended he recommending a better fish that would work better with the tank setup in question. I believe I met the owner Chris as well and he was also nice. I highly recommend this place. Their customer service is great and they take care of the animals in their care. They’re also happy to answer questions. Would recommend and come back for sure.

Have recently made the switch from fresh to saltwater and they are the best at explaining exactly what I need to know through emergency situations to just need to know livestock is always awesome so are the prices if your looking to acheive the idea in your head in a actual tank they are the place to beautiful coral, awesome fish even have water chemicals and supplies one stop

One of the best places to get frags for your reef tank. They also have a nice selection of fish and clean up crews. Small retail store owned and ran by husband and wife.Both of them and the few other employees that I have seen there are incredible knowledgeable and their customer service goes above and beyond.I am fairly new to the hobby and they have been extremely helpful with suggesting the best way to start, and slowly give me the confidence of moving up to more "difficult" to keep corals.I am glad I found them, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Super nice and helpful! My first trip there was today due to traffic between my house and my usual LFS. I think I’ll be going to SD corals from now on! They have awesome deals too and are very willing to share their expertise! Also if the woman who helped me today ends up reading this, when I said “you’ll see me again very soon if it goes bad” after I bought corals I hope I didn’t sound like a jerk! I meant I’ll be there again soon to spend more money on tests, corals, and your expertise!

This place simply has the best selection of corals and the best prices! I personally love SPS corals, especially Monti's. I've never seen a store with such a wide variety of them. Can honestly say it's the best coral shop I've ever had the pleasure of visiting!

Chris and Meghan are just the nicest people. They are not out to sell you everything they can. They are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful for those new to the hobby. I’ve been to a few other places and this is my favorite place. Never made me feel dumb for all the bone head mistakes I made. I love this place and highly recommend it to anyone. I almost forgot to mention James who has been a walking book of knowledge. He has a way of explaining everything so that even I, a simple minded person can understand. He always lets me know he’s available to help and that I can call if I run into trouble. Very sweet and honest people, If not for these place I’d probably have given up by now. Thanks guys!

The only good option for buying corals in east county. They have a pretty good selection of corals with reasonable prices. Plus, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Other than corals their stock of supplies is pretty basic. Go for the corals!

Adorable "mom & pop" type shop!! Great customer service compared to other fish stores in the area. My boyfriend and his buddy go to this place all the time!! I personally don't even have a salt water tank but it is so much fun to go and look at all they have...like going to a miniature Birch Aquarium to enjoy all the fish/corals on display! :)

My 3 year old granddaughter wanted to go to the zoo or aquarium but there just wasn't enough time in the day. So I looked up aquarium supply stores and found this one! She was delighted and we made about 15 trips around the store to look at everything. I was impressed! I saw things I've never seen at any other store. All the corals, anemones, snails, shrimp, fish, sea stars ... Oh my what a selection! Thank you so much for letting us look!

Have been in the hobby many many years, and the service here is above and beyond. I have small kids and most places ignore customers like myself due to the loud children. This place gave them stickers and were as friendly as I could ask for. Kind and friendly. Customer till the end!!

This is the place to go for your saltwater/reef livestock. If they do not have it, they will work to get it. In addition, they will order any gear you need. The team is knowledgeable and helpful. What more could you ask for in a LFS?
