Rotten, expired food is a constant problem at this store. It is unsanitary at this store.Safeway responded and couldn’t be asked to spell my name correctly. Seems that they put as much effort into their store as they do their replies.

This is a great store with plenty of items to choose from. I have anything from food home goods, beverages, and pan actual deli. It's conveniently located off of highway 101. The stuff is friendly and the parking is pretty large.

Just moved to the area so wadnt sure whst to expect. Prices are super high, needs updating. We are in the grape growing capital of the country so you would think you would see some fresh grown grapes! But nope imported from Mexico. Overall was very disappointed!

This is a great place to get snacks if you are having to do an extended stay at Mee Memorial. They also have great hot foods to go.

be prepared to not find everything on their 5 dollar Fridays and can be slow to checkout but great selection of meat/produce/etc! can be expensive if u r not a member!

As of late the store appears to be well stocked, vegetables are fresh as well as the meat.The staff there is courteous and very helpful.I had a problem setting up my just for you on my phone.An associate of the store took time out to show me and explain how to use it.Quite frankly there is nothing that compares to a small town Safeway.

Outside of the fact that the Western Union money order machine is a bust I can hardly blame that on Safeway.So suffice it to say that Safeway has some good and bad features as other places do but on the overall it's a good place to shop and depending on the time of the day and the amount of business will go out of their way to help you out.As of this last week Western Union is up and running at Safeway plus they've added a park and drive staging area to store orders that have been called in so that you get your order quicker then before.

I enjoy shopping in King City's Safeway. It is the biggest supermarket in town and the best stocked too. Safeway has wide aisles, well stocked shelves, great variety of local grown fruit and vegetables, and a good meat selection. The customer representatives are willing to help and greet customers with a smile. I can run in for a quick errand or go for a full shopping experience and feel at home.Fridays find great specials for $5 like a whole fried chicken meal that help both the wallet and ease your cooking for the family for dinner. I need to mention the fresh baked bread and pastries. You can order a celebration cake here too for a graduation or go for a dozen birthday cupcakes instead.Safeway seems like the safe way to go...though the prices are a tad high. (However, if you get the store app, you can get coupons and rewards that will mean some savings down the road.) Overall, it is a good shopping experience in a small town. That's what you get when you are at the biggest and best known supermarket in town.

I have a love and hate relationship with this store location. Theres always long lines only 2 registers open and due to covid that's a big concern to have long lines. Customer service can be better. Store is clean and love the sales and floral department. This store needs more employees (cashiers) I hate waiting especially with covid.

It's hard to give this store any stars. It's dirty, many of the staff are rude and unfriendly. The prices are much higher than other stores. And the selection is poor.. The safety measures for covid are spotty at best and they never monitor the number of people in the store. This is a safeway that was never remodeled, serves a large agricultural community without much competition. Therefore they don't seem to try very hard.

I ordered groceries on saturday for pick up on sunday and the it went smoothly. I usually use this service in Monterey since I work near by but that location for some reason always rings my item up incorrectly and the substitutions are questionable. We live in greenfield so we decided to give this location a try. This safeway is very organized and my order was actually ready before I selected pick up. I also did not have any items missing or damaged. Will shop here again.

Great selection most of the time and some of the staff can be proficient in the customer service they provide. However, the teenage employees lack real customer service skills.

It was clean. Both the customers and cashier were polite. The street were marked with one way arrows that people followed. They also had what I needed. Unfortunately no Clorox or Lyssol disinfectant wipes. But I haven't seen those anywhere.

Bathrooms are utterly disgusting and in disrepair. You would be better off leaving the store and finding a porta potty because it would be more sanitary

Disgusting inside, horrible customer service. Went multiple times, but only one employee actually conversed with me. Absolutely the worst, hands down, Safeway I've ever been into. If you can avoid going to this Safeway, avoid it! Produce was horrible, the floors were flithy, the courtesy clerk did NOT do their job, they bagged my food into a different customers bag, and were more interested in talking to themselves then bagging groceries or even paying attention to what the customers groceries were and were not.

Wow talk about expensive 😳!I can't believe people shop there.We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. If your desperate and need a few thingsBut if your shopping go somewhere else.Notice how small the carts are? Thats because to fill it , it would cause one paycheck. Imagine a full size cart!

Workers are friendly and welcoming but I had to wait 15 minutes for help at the bakery department. Their were 2 calls made and still a wait. Purchased a nice cake.

This is the worst grocery store I've ever shopped and would go somewhere else if it wasn't the only grocery store in town. They are always out of something for one thing and their produce quality is horrible. There's been several instances where the squash is soft and close to going bad. The meat selection is horrible as well as the quality. I just bought Pork Ribs recently and when I went to open them they smelled rotten so I took them back. Not to mention this store is very expensive which wouldn't bother me as much if the quality and selection was better. The store is also very busy which wouldn't be so bad if the had more than one check out line open. This is the poorest excuse for a grocery store I've ever seen but they obviously don't care because they know they're the only grocery store here so they can get away with it.

The preparation of the cakes is very bad, they look like stones before the cakes were very good and the managers do nothing to improve the service. I don't recommend the cakes at the Safeway.

If you have all day and want to wait forever! Come to Safeway in King City! You will find one or 2 lines open and lines down the aisles. I'm waiting in line at the bakery, you tell me you don't work in the department but your waiting on the person behind me. The bakery is trash. Couldn't even tell me what was in the cake. You guys are so lucky your the only Safeway in 45-50 mile radius.
