The campsites were close together but had trees for privacy. There is not a lot of room for a tent. There was a small amount of trash in our site when we arrived. The bear box was dirty with ash and had to be swept out before we could use it.The fire pit is very shallow and needs to be cleaned out. It looks like it has never been cleaned out.The bathrooms are moderately clean. There is no direct access to the lake. You have to go around through either marina. There is one on each side of the campground. There is a trail but has not been maintained and is overrun with brush. The fishing here is incredible. If you are here to fish, this is a nice campground. The marina next door has sinks to clean your fish. They also have showers. This was the best feature, and it is not associated with the campground. There are a lot of mosquitoes, be prepared!Restrooms: 4 restrooms with flush toilets and sinksDog-friendliness: Dog friendly, must be leashed.

Lots of mosquitoes but that’s to be expected near the water. Great hosts and respectful campers made for a great tent camping experience with our dogs! Super clean bathrooms too!Restrooms: Clean and well-stockedDog-friendliness: Perfect little loop for walking dogs and really cool to take them to the water right outside the tent!

This campground is amazing. Clean restrooms and showers are available. Each camp spot is has its own fireplace with grill. Bear-proof lockers are available to store all your food over night. The scenery is beautiful and the campground is very clean and private.

Beautiful lake, mostly exposed shoreline. The camp host was awesome. Sites 21 & 22 are a couple of the best. The fish were hitting lures the entire time we were there.

Beautiful lake with it's beach side. So much to do in the surrounding area with the town. The views from the beach is so aweome for photography which is the main reason i went there. Beach area was bit more crowded on a saturday but that's to be expected. Highly recommend bug spray when visiting these areas as the mosquitos are everywhere.Make sure you drive around to the top view point. It's a little hidden area easy to miss. It has this dirt road that goes around. Epic for drone footage which we enjoyed. The greenish color of the lake looks so pretty. I must come back during winter time.

Great campground close to the water and town of June lake. We brought our own inflatable boat and walked it down to the shore and launched. Boat launching and fishing were free, which is a nice plus. Shops, restaurants, brewery, gull lake & hiking trails are walkable from this campground, which is not true of the other campgrounds in the area. It’s well maintained and family friendly. Would stay here again.

Some of the sites are a little larger, but we fit our 3 room tent on one of the smaller sites. All the sites have picnic tables, large lockable bear proof food lockers, and fire pits (I think with grills too!).No showers, but the toilets are flushable, and the bathrooms are clean (considering all the dirt, rocks and sticks) and TP was restocked fairly quick.Town, Marina / boat rentals are all within walking distance. We will stay here again, and recommend to family and friends!

Beautiful. Some of the best views you will see in a lifetime.Easily acessable and tons to do.There is some off roading, hiking, fishing, tons of restaurants around.Short drive over to Yosemite but much less expensive to stay here.Lots of really amazing trails and places to explore.

The campground was really nice BUT You can tell it was in Calif because some low-life campers carved graffiti into the trees Not cool plus there's beer cans just tossed into the bushes

Stayed with my pup here for the sole purpose of going to Yosemite. Turns out that the road was closed so an 11 min drive turned into a 4 hour one. But, near mammoth, June lake of course, mono lake and other attractions. If you're there to soak in nature and fishing then its perfect.

We've been coming to June Lake Campground for 20+ years. It's always beautiful...whether the weather is sunny, rainy or snowfall. This time, beginning of June, the Low at night was 38 and the High during the day was 78. The campsites are modest, there is a marina down by the lake where you can clean fish, buy supplies and hang out during the day.

A great little campground. It's very close the main road, but traffic stops around 9pm. It is a short walk to the marina and less than 2 blocks from town. Small RV or tent camping is perfect. The camp host was great. Dogs are welcome.

Great camping spot that has amazing views and is really peaceful. Good facilities and sites are pretty private comparatively. A few minutes walk to shops, stores, bar and food. All sites come with camp fire pit and bear proof lockers for food. Can’t wait to come back.

This campground is right by the marina. So you will see a lot of tourists and visitors near the camp sites. People visit the beach for fishing etc. You will not be able to enjoy the nature if you like peace. The camp sites are also very close to each other with little to no privacy.

Nice campground in the pines. We arrived late, and were lucky to get a spot. The on-site host was super helpful, and we got settled in. Clean restrooms, easy registration. One caution - the direction of loops is not particularly well marked, and the roads are very narrow.

Small campground, but it is just outside the village and right next to the lake and has a good amount of shade in most of the spots. Small little beach area on one side, and a little boat marina on the other.

Lovely campground conveniently located close to marina and town. Camp host is super cool. Some sites are shaded and private, but if you are camped alongside the field at the center of the campground expect to bake in the sun and deal with a lot of noise. Several families booked sites and attempted to claim this field as their own, at the expense of other campers. They had their kids running through our site at 10 at night. The "adults" in charge were super loud and unresponsive to polite requests for quiet.

This place is more than a pizzeria. The pizza is really good but you can get all different kinds of Italian dishes. Very popular so very crowded.

My boys, hubby and me loved it. We plan to go again. Restrooms were always clean. Showers are nearby. Town is close by but general store prices are expensive. But it's to be expected I guess. Lots of mosquitos but it's the out doors and there's water nearby so that's to be expected. I say if you don't like what's to be expected don't go camping. I on the other hand loved it. If you're into the camping experience I'd say this spot was great for relaxing.

The Campground is really amazing. If your going to swim I recommend going all the way to the left side of the beach. Where there is less big rocks and has smooth sand. Both side of the lake is pretty cold so get prepared to shiver a little.

Super clean and beautiful camping. I am so happy we found this place. The host, Jack, was very nice and helpful. The lake was crystal clear and full of wildlife. Firewood sold on site and bear proof food storage at every camp. This is the best! I love it!

Beautiful campground in an adorable little town. Lots of privacy at most of the sites. Stayed in a tent in site #12. Loved the spot but parking was a bit tricky. I drive a Prius and there as a bit of a drop off. Might be better site for high clearance vehicles. Loved walking down to the water for the kids to play. Also walking distance to town for dinner. 3 min drive to the cutest little lake side park at nearby Gull Lake.

The campsites are nice and spacious, but close together. Very close to the marina for boat rentals or launch. + or - depending on whether or not having full cell service and being close to the road is. Good for kids who can't put their phones down, but bad if you want to unplug for the weekend.
