Barendregt's is a very nice little store. The meat department is outstanding. My go to place when I need to pick up a couple of things. Rod and his crew a friendly and accommodating. Love to shop there and give business to the locals.

I've been shopping here since I was about 5 years old. Its as little pricey but has some of the best meat back in the deli in the county. If you stop by you have to get some of the pork spare ribs that are made daily and are hot and ready to stuff your face hands down some of the best ribs I've ever had. Great store and a great family owns it. Enjoy!!!!!

The service here is exceptional! All the staff are so friendly! The food is great and they have just about anything for a quick stop in to shop. They have great chicken salad here and sandwiches! Plus the ribs are pretty tasty. Haven't tried it all but so far so good. Thank you for the friendly service I appreciate it!

Great local store. Friendly owner and workers. The butcher department is full of good stuff, including fresh bbq chicken and ribs. Plenty of local grown meat. New in the frozen section is freshly made chicken cardon blue. I park right out front. Pay a little more, but happy to support local.

Wonderful old store in historic Jamestown. They cook meat to order. We got a NY roast for the holiday for a pound more than our usual store but, was wonderfully cooked to our taste. They also cook chicken and ribs every morning. Sadly the pictures on this review are from a different store and I can't delete them.

After moving to the MotherLode 8 years ago, it was nice to see a hometown grocery so close to my home. Their produce and meat are great and the prices reasonable for a smallish store. And they will order what you want if they don't have it. Plus the staff are super nice and fun to talk to. If you haven't tried them, give it a go. You won't be disappointed !

Found everything we needed to get through the last night of dry camping. Mother Load coffee was great, and Kimberly will definitely be our realtor if we ever are in the market up there! Great meat selection as well. Was recommended by the park Ranger where we were staying, and Jamestown was so cute.

This is such a great grocery store in Jamestown! The owner's manage to pack the store full of just about everything anyone in our community would need... The store is clean, has beautiful flowers out front, and all of the staff are friendly and helpful!

We stopped here on the way into Yosemite. They have EVERYTHING you NEED for the typical camping experience. Deli meats were awesome. They also have meat market for bbq items. Proprietor super friendly, hooked it up with free ice, been in his family 100+ yrs. Support local.

Oldest grocery store in the Jamestown area. This is one of those shops that you feel good about spending your money in. The goods are local and great. Nice selection of drinks, spices, meats, cheeses, can food, and snacks. Create a lunch, and go have a picnic in any of the parks!

Great little neighborhood store. Rod makes the best rotisserie chicken in the county. They also do bbq ribs and rotisserie pork loin. It can be a bit pricey.

Small store but the cashier was so polite and friendly. Deli in the back had what we were looking for plus all the fixings. We were just visiting the town for the day but we can't wait to go back once the town fully opens again.

Great little grocery store in the middle of town. prices are a little high but very convenient if you don’t want to drive all the way to Sonora very friendly staff and great service. Best meat in town BTW!

Barendregts...boy oh boy, if could be completely redone, updated, CLEANED UP..ceiling falling in..merchandise that's been on shelves for ever..old outdated brands..its stuck..the building is owned by a family that really doesnt care...the owner of the business..is working himself to death..hes one of the best Butchers in the county..but burned out and needs help, financially and with day to day. If it be could emptied, gutted, fixed, redone, new and updated products, new floor design..it would ROCK..and being a huge boost to our town...

The older man is constantly rude Nd rarely listens to a customer unless he knows them personally. For a small town store it feels very rude and aggressive to people who are regulars but who are not their friends.
