This is one of the cleaner well-maintained Walmart stores and I’ve been in recent months. Perfect location for the foothills has about everything one would need. Fairly large and well stocked grocery section with the exception of the meat Dept.

I'm used to their aisles and I love the size of the store not too big neither too small. I usually find good sales for clothes. The customer service is also always helpful.

Worst experience yet as if it could ever get worse than the last time but they keep breaking that record and it gets worse every time I come to this Walmart back in the electronics aisle they have a looks like a flea market of selection for phone cases and energy spread out between three or four Isles never know where to find your brand of phone they're all mix-matched it's a complete mess and so when I bring it up to the associate Lynn in electronics her advice to me is one of two things one call corporate to get a job here your myself myself at minimum wage and she that was it and so it's like while really so she obviously was in charge of ordering and wasting all of themselves with these has been cases that you just lost trying to find her phone it's not even a year old great job Walmart Sam Walton would be turning in his grave right now seeing this place worst store everPart 2.I traveled all the way from pioneer to exchange printer cartridge just to find they closed early today wow way Walmart. Or should I say loseer mart. Place is a freaking joke. Just close this store down who needs it ?? They can't pay there staff enough to stay or at least show them respect they want to work here instead of there high school drama that goes on and they fire people for all the wrong reasons. Where is a store manager. The clerk laughs and says not on a Monday night. Teally??Really??? I'm so angry. This is not the end.

A lot of people don't appreciate Walmart. Yes, they have upset the idea of doing business "downtown" and have moved some local businesses completely. But look at what Amazon has done. I shop at both. Walmart gives you the opportunity to see your purchase before you buy it. Target is also a great choice on some items. Heh, I bought quite a bit of stuff from TSC last year. Never would have thought that would happen. Truth is: all these retail giants try very hard to accommodate their customers. And a walk downtown on a Saturday is a great reason to buy locally - at the smaller retailers. Enjoy life. Pass it around.

Tried to buy two different items that were on the shelves for sale only to stand in a long line twice to be told the items were on recall. Total waste of my time. Walmart sucks!

Walmart in Jackson,CA (Martel) is the cleanest, most friendly store. Professionalism is priority with them. Go checkout the store for yourself!

Whoever is in charge of ordering mens pants, sizes needs to realize that hobbits only exist in the Tolkien novels. Who in their right mind orders all length of pants in 50"x30"?! I literally thought i was on set of the Willy Wonka movie looking at Oompa Loompa wardrobes. It's not a huge deal, but it'd be nice not to have to drive to the valley just to buy size 40x34s.

Very clean store. Definitely one of the better Walmarts we've been to. Usually the ones we go to are a bit worn down and dirty and not stocked very well. But this is a good one.

I work overnights there so I'm not going to bad-mouth it but, we need more help. I went in for an oil change at about 8:45 this morning and I didn't leave until almost 11:00. There were only two mechanics working in the garage, and they were also trying to run the automotive department cash register. So there were some unhappy people there. I wasn't really one of them for I understand the situation.

Having even the most innocuous item behind locked cabinets is really bad. I understand it’s to prevent theft, but not having enough people to respond to the service call buttons is what’s done poorly at this store (and most other Walmarts). For example, I needed an item from one of the sporting goods cabinets and it took over 15 min to come by with a key. They even have signs that say “press button below for service”, yet there is no call button! This store is poorly managed and the infrastructure for customer service is quite deficient. If they’re going to have stuff behind lock and key, have the right staff available to help customers evil need assistance.

It is one of the best selections for electronics in Amador County.Most of your pet needs can be found. Has a good toy selection and sporting goods, too.A decent garden center and a nice section of outdoor gas and charcoal grills; along with grill accessories, smoking wood chips, and charcoal briquettes.If you just need basic groceries, their is a good selection at a reasonable price. There is an in store pharmacy. Although the pharmacy doesn't open until 9AM.Update 6.20.2022, in the grocery and cat food sections, have a lot of shortages of items.Update 1.5.24 ,Walmart has upgraded their self-check out scanners, much faster and more accurate.Update, 3/15/24. No new changes.

As a regular customer, I’m disappointed in the store overall, as lately shelves are empty, customer service is slow & checkers are lacking. Today there were 15+ people in line & one clerk running a register. The line for self checkout was 8 people deep. I feel this is poor management at the top.

Very nice man working in electronics...came over to cut some cloth for me, after I was told about 3 times from other employees that if nobody eventually comes to help me I needed to go find someone myself. If not for this very nice older gentleman this would have been a different review I just can't remember his name for that im sorry.

The visit did not go well I looked up online to see if what I wanted was available and it said it had to be picked up at the store so I drove 40 minutes down to the store and they had none. I was very disappointed.
