A historic gem along the delta. Incredibly kind staff and top notch beer selection. Added bonus that the place is dog friendly; I loved seeing all the pups. As the afternoon winded down, a group set up instruments on the street outside and played some fun music. I enjoyed my time here and will be back. Very chill spot. Keep in mind, there is no kitchen here but yummy bar snacks like chips, beer nuts, and beef jerky are available for purchase.

Historic opium den turned craft beer pour house serving cold pints of local brews from around California.Decor is a mix of news articles from the building's heyday and themed replicas. The table tops are a nice touch of smaller trying nkets set in epoxy.Kids are allowed, but not at the bar. Mind the gong on your way in, and don't miss the beer-to-go on your way out 🍻

What a great place!! Tried 12 beers in 3 flights of 4, plus sodas for the kid, beer to go, barely $50. Dog was relaxing under the table and we brought food from down the street. Owner pours from the taps and is really welcoming. She and her tap room are an absolute freakin gem.

Beer is food, right?What nice folks and what great beers! Twenty-four taps to try, knock yourself out. This once brothel and opium den now soothes the beast with ales from around northern California in the comfort of their snazzy bar or the beer garden. Ales, pils, Porter, fruit beer, etc, etc., there's something here for every discerning beer drinker and at fair prices. You can slow down from that Isleton hectic with a cold pint. Relax... Friendly barkeep, too! I love it here.

Cool little place in the nearly ghost town of Isleton. Excellent varied selection of craft beers on tap. The owner is very nice and friendly. Seems she puts a premium on engaging with her customers over pouring beer. I liked this; it made me slow down and smell the hops.

An interesting incarnation of a craft beer bar with a Chinese / Asian facade. The main part is the bar, with a bizarre “opium den” on one side. The staff is friendly and they let you bring the tasty BBQ in from “Yes, My Sweet BBQ” down the street to eat. Nice beer selection and a good place to quench your thirst on a hot day - just don’t expect much Chinese historical or cultural substance.

GQ Magazine occasionally featured "the #1 bar on earth worth flying for" - well in my humble opinion, Iva Walton's bar in the tiny Delta town of Isleton deserves such an accolade. A laid back atmosphere and an amazing selection of beer are sure to make it a memorable visit. Bring your own food (or else ask Iva for a recommendation from one of the nearby stores) kick back, soak up some of the bar's unique history, or else sit outside in the patio area. I can't wait to go back.

Nice shiek place with great variety of micro draft beers. Bring your real southern BBQ from "My Sweets" next door. Yeah, they roll like that here. Try the 3 kittens draft if you like it light !

Lovely beer selection in a thoughtfully decorated tap house that pays tribute to the Chinese community who lived in and were founding members of Isleton’s community. Bartender Nick is a great host and made this a fun destination for our weekend delta drive.

Don’t normally review places, but our experience at the Mei Wah Beer Room was so welcoming and exceptional that I just had to share the love and encourage others to visit this true gem of a tap room. We were a large group with lots of kids so were unsure if we could enter, but the friendly owners came to greet us at the door and told us they were kid friendly and that they even had some bunnies and goats in the side beer garden that the kids could pet. We all ordered a round of delicious, expertly poured brews and felt right at home as we settled into the beer garden. So next time you’re soaking up a day on the Delta, be sure to hit up Mei Wah, enjoy the exceptional beer selection, and support a local gem that welcomes everyone with open arms.

We were directed after grabbing sandwiches at McBoodery about a block away and told it was a place that welcomes diners and has a great selection of beers. Mei Wah did not disappoint. The vibe is great and interesting decor/history. Love that they offer multiple size pours. I tried a pineapple sour beer and it was delicious!

This place is a hidden gem among a small town with alot of character. It is a hidden and underestimated location with an absolutely incredible beer selection. The owner Iva was a joy to be around and really really knows her stuff when it comes to beer. She is well tasted, well traveled, and knows beer like it's a passion. She went out of her way to find something I was looking for, out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. This is an incredible location beckoning way more than expected. Say hi to Iva for me and enjoy an awesome piece of history she has set aside for people at this wonderful tap room and piece of history.
