Long story short. Moving to France with a dog. The airline made it seem way simpler than it was, and we found out there was a lot more to it, it was too late -- according to our normal vet (not this place). They said we'd never get the papers in time for out flight and that they wouldn't even try. Instead they referred me to AHHB.The staff understood our stress and showed incredible levels of compassion as they worked late to get our papers to the USDA asap. They called out other vet, the rescue where we got our dog and just made it happen. In the end we ended up getting the papers early.Leslie and crew, we love you. You made the seemingly impossible happen and we are just so incredible grateful.If your are traveling with a pet, be sure to come here.10 out of 5 stars.

They did an amazing job in subduing our antisocial puppy. Came in for vaccines and they were very accommodating and patient with her. They recommended a "happy visit" just to see and social with staff and other pets to make our puppy be comfortable and happy with others around and associate the clinic/hospital as a happy place. We look forward to that. All the staff was very friendly.

We see Dr Gross here for my cat, KeeKee's diabetes. She is awesome and caring and takes her time with you. KeeKee has controlled diabetes now, thanks to Dr Gross and is doing great 😃I recommend Animal hospital of Huntington Beach and Dr Gross!!!!!!Staff is great also!!Fair prices for great care.

Animal Hospital of Huntington is the best! They take great care of my dog, and their systems help us, as pet parents, track their care. We downloaded the app today, which also gives us points and coupons. They have an amazing groomer! Seriously, the pet groomer is the best! they sell pet food, toys, and fresh pet food. It's like a one-stop shop to care for our animals. O, and they have boarding, too. We never worry about our dog when we go on vacation. We love it and it's close to our house.

We love this office. Every single vet that has seen our pup has been caring and supportive. The puppy stage is hard because they’re so little and you are still getting to know them and their little bodies. This vet office makes it a breeze from medication refills, questions and office visits. My little guy loves coming here!

Staff was great! Doctor took ample time to get to know me and LEGO my sweet boy while addressing concerns and observations I’ve had for sometime. Results from tests (blood work and biopsy from lump I hadn’t even noticed yet) and follow-up with needed referrals was so fast and relieved me of stress. I am thankful this was my first pick of vets in the area newly moving to Huntington beach area. I love that the location of fully stocked with pet food of all kinds and grooming on-site! What I noticed that was different from previous vet experiences was being able to sit in the room during the exam. Dr. Checked LEGO thoroughly which discovered a lump that hadn’t been previously noticed. Additionally, Dr. Took time to examine legos eyes, do to concerns that LEGO’s sight seemed impaired. Findings showed major changes in the retina pointing to hereditary condition and was quick with ophthalmologists referrals. I’ll be scheduling for a dental cleaning requiring sedation and it was nice to see discounts applied when combining multiple services.

This is an upsetting story, you may want to skip it. Our cat died today, we loved and will miss her. She was 14, being treated for diabetes, and hyperthyroidism during the last year. Despite insulin and medication, she stopped eating. Due to her rapid wasting we decided to let her go.We called our usual veterinarian for an appointment, and were refused. Yes they had seen her recently, and we do pay our bills. They said they were booked solid. My husband asked them to see her asap on Monday at 8 am, we were offered an appointment on Thursday. We found another vet, who put her to sleep, but it took hours. Where was the compassion for a dying pet, and how do they sleep at night? So I cannot recommend the Animal Hospital of Huntington Beach on Edward’s.

The check in process easy and efficient. The wait after check-in was not bad. The initial exam with my cat was informative and handled well with my very nervous and uncomfortable pet that doesn’t like vet visits much. And even if he can be a little difficult the doctor was able to perform all shots and test effectively. I was very happy overall with the service and care from start to finish. Very professional and caring animal hospital.

My dog needs a knowledgeable and caring vet for his complex symptoms, and the vets here are definitely meeting my requirements for my baby. Dr. Ramirez and Dr. Vogel are excellent vets. They are both knowledgeable, patient and caring about my dog and no rush at all. I strongly recommend them to your furry baby. The vet assistants are friendly too, especially Jeannie, she played with my dog and calm my dog down with love and patience.What I don't like the most is the girl at the front desk named Leslie. She is racist and asked me to wait for checking in while she didn't do anything. When I checked out, she wasn't the one who helped me but she kind of threw her voices in the conversation with arrogant and disrespeful attitude against my question about if they will approve medicines that I purchase on Chewy. Leslie's answer was very confusing and disappointing that they won't do it, and I need to deal with Chewy myself. I am not appreciated the ways she dealt with me and the tones and attitudes she spoke to me. I feel very irritated by her attitude.

They are very compassionate, very friendly, great service. I'm so impressed! They helped me in every way for the passing of my hamster. I will be taking my cats here when they're due for their check up! I feel so grateful!

Animal Hospital of HB has done an excellent job of caring for our pets over the last decade. Their staff are always patient and understanding, doing an excellent job with customer service. We love all of the vets, who always go above and beyond to treat our animals in a way that is both compassionate and transparent.

My Coco had a mass growing out of her elbow that caused her great discomfort and a lot of pain. With this growth she started to lose her appetite and desire to run/play. Dr Gross removed the growth and left her elbow looking clean. Today Coco is running, playing, and eating like her old self. AHHB is the best around. Friendly, caring, informative, fair, and above all loving of the animals that come in. Many thanks to all of you there and a special thanks to Dr. Gross from Coco and her family.

This place is a major rip-off. They prey on owners' fears to drive up costs, even insisting on treatments despite objections. The fact that their first question was about pet insurance should have been a warning. They charged me $700 for basic blood work and fecal tests, originally quoting $1200. Despite finding nothing wrong with my dog, they pushed for unnecessary X-rays, costing an extra $300. They sent me home with muscle relaxers and painkillers, despite no diagnosis. I'm switching to a cheaper clinic, as it's evident they prioritize profit over care. Additionally, they gave my dog a cut-up bandana, while my previous groomer provided a full one for only $40. Paying $700 for half a bandana and a dog still exhibiting symptoms is unacceptable.

Dr. Ann was extremely thorough with my cat "Mando," and saved him from a terrible emergency blockage. I'm so grateful to the entire staff, and I'm happy to say I'll be bringing him to see her regularly from now on. While I was there, I also saw many other pet owners with their pets who seemed to be pleased with their service...even the animals were excited and didn't seem frightened at all! I'm very glad I found them, since we just moved to Huntington Beach and needed to find a new vet for our fur baby.

I've actually already recommended AHHB to all of my friends. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have a great dane and they are not afraid of him. I've been to 2 other vets where they barely touch him or get near him. I'm assuming they are scared. My dog is friendly but very big and most of the workers come over to say hi to him at AHHB. It's nice to see them treat my great dane the same way they would treat a small corgi or a golden retriever.

The wait is 15 to 30 minutes after your appointment time. I was given a choice of services and declined some that I didn’t deem necessary at the time. It’s nice that they don’t try to “up sale” you.Very clean with a nice waiting room. There are some items for sale also, but I have no experience in buying from there.

We sadly had to say goodbye to our kitty yesterday. Having never been here before, Gina, Dr. Osbrink, and the rest of the team went above and beyond to help our baby transition to a better place comfortably. Our regular vet didn’t have availability soon, and we didn’t want her to wait any longer. They stayed late on a Friday night to help make this possible. Truly caring and professional staff, very reasonable pricing, nice space. If/when we are ready for another pet, we know who their vet will be.

I took my cat Lexi to receive care today for her failing health. The doctor and staff were wonderful. In tune to my cat's and my needs. Unfortunately Lexi was too sick. I had to put her to sleep. Staff walked me through all the procedures. I will have a nice plaster paw print of her. Definitely would recommend to all pet owners. I will take my new cat's here.

Dr. Gross was awesome! We moved here last year, and have tried a few vets. Dr. Gross was understanding and patient with our little dog. She was very helpful and thorough and we will definitely be back! We have found an amazing veterinary doctor that truly cares! Thank you Dr. Gross! Upon entering the hospital, we were impressed. The space is current and clean. The front office personnel were welcoming, and Lisa, the pet tech, was great as she prepared our cats to meet the doctor.The doctor was amazing!
