2/14/2024Excellent experience. I live 1,300 miles from here and left home short on a couple of meds. I ordered what I needed while I was in Utah, and after a phone call, they understood that I didn't need a full refill, just enough to get me through my road trip. My meds were ready for me the day I got to Hollister, and it took a load off my mind. Excellent service - Thank you.Five stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

I don’t understand why this place has such bad ratings. Way better than some of the other Walgreens I have dealt with. I lost my job back in December. I’ve been struggling to pay for my medication due to losing benefits and they always find coupons to save me a significant amount of money. Very helpful staff in the pharmacy. A++++

Worst pharmacy experience always. They never have medication ready when they say they will. They don't tell you that an item is out of stock until you show up and then they can't tell for sure when it will arrive. Wait is always long. I'm currently at drive thru stuck 3 other vehicles. It's been 30 minutes. Clearly understaffed and they don't seem to care

I've been hanging on, to my pharmacy because its closest to my home. But I have to be honest.There couldn't be a worse place to get perscriptions filled.Granted, everywhere needs staff, but really. It's been months of very long lines inside the store, closed drive thru service, messed up call reminders, to pick up pills, that haven't even been filled yet!!😩When is corporate going to do something about this problem?When my husband got out of the hospital. Recently. I didn't even go to get his meds. Till the next day. And they still weren't ready. Its aggravating.Come on people!!

I’ve ordered photos here and have always had a pleasant experience. Today was the exception. The young man behind the counter was unable to locate my order and stated there was no order showing up under my phone number. I did not have my phone on me so I went to the car and came back. This time I was “helped” by an older Latina lady with dark, long hair and glasses. She was obviously having a bad day or really dislikes working there. I told her I had an order and she asked for what. The young man told her he had my information pulled up on the other computer and she, very rudely, replied “pulled up where?!”. She goes to the computer to do the same thing the previous employee did and stated there was no order under my phone number. I asked if maybe the order number would help and try to show her the email I received stating the order was ready for pick up, she interrupted me multiple times as I tried to speak and told me “we don’t use the order number we go off your phone number and there’s nothing” she also never even acknowledged my email and didn’t even pretend to look at what I was showing her. As a last resort I asked if maybe it was under my husband since I had put him down to pick up the order and that’s where it was. This makes no sense to me… if I place an order and put someone else to pick it up, their information should not override mine. My order was placed under MY account number therefore it should be visible and easy to track. I don’t blame the employees for this, their computer system just seems wrong but if that woman had taken a moment to look at what I was showing her maybe she would’ve noticed I put my husband down to pick it up. Her terrible, unhelpful attitude is the worst. She needs customer service training or at least should know how to speak to people especially since I was never rude to her.

This location was a fine provider for the Cov-19 vaccination, used the CDC Bridge Access here. The service clerk was courteous, capable; the pharmacist's injection was competent care.

I went to this location because there was no appointment necessary to have passport photos taken. The day I went there was a nice lady who went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. I didn't catch her name but I really appreciated that I didn't need to wait around needlessly. She took my picture, which actually turned out decent, I'm not the most photogenic type and was happy with how I will look to others trying to go in and out of their country. I will recommend others to Walgreens for their passport photo needs. There are too many places (even the post office) that don't even have appointments available to authenticate Identity for passports and much less appointments available for photos too. Thank you Walgreen employee you are awesome!

Made an online appointment for vaccination. When I arrived 20Minutes early the pharmacy line was 10 deep. Asked about checking in and was told had to wait in the line. By the time I reached the front my vaccine time was now late. After getting checked in, I waited over an hour with no call in. After waiting, I spoke to the female at the counter and collected my documents as I could no longer wait. No apology or anything. Then when I went to another pharmacy I discovered Walgreens reported that they gave me my vaccine to insurance. Total fraud. Also created issues with actually getting my vaccine. Never use Walgreens.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy and photo center in all of Walgreens history… wait time for prescription are not hours, they are days!Basically, they don’t even function as a pharmacy. Like myself, some people have serious medical conditions and cannot wait for their meds. I switched to another local pharmacy and my prescription was filled within minutes, not days. The said part is the corporate component of this operation doesn’t give a rats behind if you live, or if you die. Sure, some auto generated response from a manager will be had.But, let me tell you… they DONT CARE!The photo department is even worse. However, the photo department’s ineptitude doesn’t cause pain, suffering or death!I would like to say this entire location needs new management. But, I believe they need an exorcism!

The pharmacy was not reasonable today in accommodating an important aspect of my prescription. It seems that they could not adapt to special circumstances regarding certain vital component to my medically prescribed order. The new pharmacist was obtuse and rigid. Use to think highly of this pharmacy as in the past it helped me immensely due to supply chain issues. I had to go to one of Walgreens competitors to purchase the items needed to treat me medically. Bravo to Rite Aide for doing Walgreen’s job. Sorry to post this and I hope the pharmacy betters itself.

They are extremely slow!! When I was asked by my surgeon what pharmacy my painkillers should go to I thought of Walgreens… Worst decision I’ve made in recent memory. By the time my prescription was ready my local anesthesia was wearing off. I was in pain.I do not recommend this place for time sensitive medications.

I've never posted before but this is needed. I left keys in the car with it running & phone inside. Sherry & Crystal in front cashiers called several places for me and scheduled so.eone t p unlock the car. They were calm, competent, and supportive. Fantastic service! Above & beyond! Thank you!

Over several weeks now there have been more than one or two occasions the pharmacy is shutdown for 3 or more days. According to them there are "computers down...". This has become a health risk to people who have prescriptions there. Their comment.. "go to Emergency". That comes with a substantial cost ! We are beginning to move all our prescription. Walgreens had ONE advantage, a drive thru window but that doesn't work if they shutdown for days at a time.

This store never helps people with prescription needs. I have been waiting on the phone for over 1/2 hour which there were 3 callers ahead of me then 2 callers, now 1 caller. This store needs to stay open longer than 6 PM. The staff is rude. As an owner of this Walgreens it does not seem like you care about the reviews. come on make this store the best hire people and staff that care about the customers.

The store itself supplies products accordingly, but the Pharmacy is really less than a one star. Hours are terrible, takes forever to medication while in the drive-thru. Lastly, the outside is dirty all the time!

Worker was rude and had an attitude, when I was getting my makeup she turned to my mother and asked her if she needed something as well. My mom told her she needed some more time and she replies with, “well I won’t be able to do it for awhile so let me know now” with an attitude. Saw her just walking around the store not doing anything, lazy and rude!!

Great, well-known drugstore that is nationwide. Although they are multiple stores, the staff is well trained to a standard which is great. The staff has always been kind, courteous and helpful with any questions. They are very competitively priced in most everything. Great local drugstore and I am happy to be a satisfied/loyal customer.

Pharmacy is always inadequately staffed. The drove through can take the entire oro.ised 30 min to get your medications or longer. Nothing is ever on stock, I'm constantly getting notifications that items are not stocked. Yes, I switched to somewhere else. It's that bad.

The absolute worst pharmacy on the planet. Only open during business hours. Nobody answers the phones. Be prepared to spend 2+ hours on hold waiting for someone to answer at the pharmacy. They used to be good. They are AWFUL. Don't go here for prescriptions!

Moving all our prescriptions out of here! Randomly closed temporarily for some tech computer transfer again? We need a reliable and efficient pharmacy for our medicine and this is NOT that! Too bad! Only thing they had going for them was the drive thru! Bye bye! See ya!

I made an appointment for a drive through covid test. When I arrive for my appointment, the drive way is blocked by cones, I’m sick but get out of my car to move the cone because cars are piling up behind me. I drive up to the window and nobody is there, my appointment time passes and nobody is there! I ring the call button and a very rude girl finally comes to the window and says they were at lunch, this is 2:45 in the afternoon! I’m not feeling well, and ask why I should have to get out of the car to move cones, to which she says she will not help me, and “Michelle” leaves the window. I ask for her manager and wait another 5 minutes. Alania, who is the manager, administers the test and I ask why there were cones blocking the driveway she said they were “busy and had to take lunch”. The lunch hours are clearly posted on the window 1-2p, so I tell her this to which she had bo reply. Walgreens staff doesn’t have ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE OR PROFESSIONALISM!! Par for the course in Hollister!

This review pertains to the pharmacy only. Phone wait times are in excess of 1/2 hour. Then, 3 hrs to throw some pills in a bottle,Customer service is rude and seems overwhelmed.I understand the staff might not be able to keep up amount of clientele that uses the pharmacy.However management need to hire the appropriate staff to keep up with large client base

Waited 1/2 hour just to put in prescription. No one came to the counter while we waited for pharmacists/sales people who ignored customers who were standing in line. We could see them yet they did not come to the counter to take prescriptions. And this is not the first time we have experienced this treatment.

It was my first time at this pharmacy. I got here at 4pm and was asked to fill out a form so that my prescription could be transferred from a pharmacy at a different town to this pharmacy. After filling out the form, I was told to wait for approximately 2 hours. I was told I would get a call back once my medication was ready for pick up. After meandering around town for 3hrs (and not getting any calls back), I returned to pick up my medication. Upon arrival, I provided my name and dob and was told i wasn’t in their computer system... the whole time I was waiting 3+ hrs, nothing had been done. I had a chance to speak with the pharmacist, she told me she had received my request hours ago but lost track of it in the mix of the day... I went through this thinking it’d be quicker than driving to a town an hour away... learned my lesson; I will not be coming here again.
