I am so pleased with the love seat and ottoman that I bought 6 years ago! It gets a lot of use, is extremely comfortable and the fabric washes so easily. If the grandkids come and spill something..no problem. I’m now back looking for a sofa and reminded of the really helpful and knowledgeable staff and the huge fabric choices. I highly recommend Chameleon.

Incredibly cool store and amazing owner! Really knowledgeable, great selection and recommendations, and super dedicated to reducing fabric waste. She invited me to look through the scraps bin for any small home (living on a sailboat) projects, and I came away with so many cool fabrics that I made into water bottle holders, wall art, small bags, and more. So happy!

From now on, th is the only place I will use for fabric and furniture. The in-store displays are amazing and the amount and variety of fabric is outstanding. The staff is very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. My new Parker bench has gorgeous fabric and the pillow is a combination of fabrics that I would never have put together on my own. My sofa cushions are back to their original firmness thanks to new foam inserts. I now have a list of projects that I want to complete over the coming months. New duvet for the bedroom quilt, new reversible dining room tablecloth and many others, Great local shop!

I purchased a large, custom-made sectional eight years ago. It still looks like new. I have washed the slipcover hundreds of times and it always comes out perfect. The frame remains sturdy and firm. I can't say enough about Chameleon's. I absolutely love this place! They have an incredible variety of upholstery fabric, and chalk paint supplies to make any furniture makeover project shabby chic. They are starting to offer classes to those of us who love taking something old and make it beautiful and new. They offer so much more. If you are ever in downtown Arroyo Grande, stop by and take a peek. I bet you find something you will fall in love with!

I have made many bad couch and chair decisions in my life that are reinforced everytime I sit or walk by. Most of the furniture I've bought has been cheap and the springs wear out. Or I've spent too much money and I have to keep it beyond its value to me.When I want a new couch, I have had to get rid of the old one and start all over.Chameleon uses slipcovers that look like upholstery. I can update my look by changing the cover instead of the entire couch.You can change the insides by adding or subtracting stuffing. You can change the outside by changing the slipcover. The furniture is made in the USA and it is a local business. Great staff and service.What more could you ask for?
