This resort is one of my favorites. The actual grounds are breakdown beautiful and there's all the amenities toy could ask for at an RV park--- a playground for my kids, a pool, trails, a little store, laundry, you name it. Plus it's quite close to the entrance of Yosemite National Park which was a huge draw for us, but also it was very close to the nearest town for any grocery or playground or restaurant needs. My family and I agreed that we'd love to come back here on our annual trip!

Stayed here a few nights to visit Yosemite and had a fine time. Restrooms.and showers are clean but could use an update. Full service sites are better suited for large rigs, not smaller trailers. Our sewer hose was below the drain at our site. (26' bumper pull)If we go back that way we'd pick a new spot at this place.Only stuff nearby is in quiet Groveland. Check hours for restaurants before leaving camp.

When I booked this stay, I saw how far it was from Yosemite in miles and went for it. Turns out that it's low miles but takes an hour and a quarter to get there due to the nature of those mountain miles. All good though! My only minor gripe about the campground is that the bath house is a bit dated. The shower heads were so pow that they hit my average sized wife in the chest, and me in the stomach. This made for a less than ideal shower situation. That said, the sites are nice as are the staff. I'd probably stay again if I couldn't find anything closer to Yosemite.Rooms: Reasonably level sites with full hookups.Nearby activities: Yosemite is a little over an hour away.Safety: Totally safe.

We recently visited the pines RV resort.we are very pleased by the great location and proximity to our familywho live in the area . also "Jonathan" the gentleman that works there and lives on site for the winter season was a wealth of knowledge and just a stand up great person in general. The lady working the cashier machine in the store was equally as great with tons of knowledge and pamphlets for things we could do in the area.we really appreciate the professionalism at the park and felt very free to do as we please and enjoyed all the amenitiesKelsey O'Reilly

We had a preexisting gas leak in our cabin and the management had no number for us to call after they closed and went home. We had to call the fire department to come and fix the leak. We ended up having to drag all of our stuff to another cabin long after dark. Expensive for a really small and cramped cabin, and the deli/general store prices were ridiculous. Will never visit again.

My family and I camped here on a tent site for three nights to visit Yosemite national park. It was a pleasant experience. The campground was nice without many flies (some annoying honeybees tho) and there were many beautiful birds you can easily see. The campsite was not big but it's not an issue for us as we spent most time in the national park. In addition, they provided good restroom and shower. Though we didn't use their swimming pool, it looked nice.Overall, if it's okay to drive 1 hour to visit Yosemite national park (30 minutes to the entrance), it is a good place to stay.

I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the recent camping experience at Yosemite Pines. The primary issue we encountered during our stay was the recurring and unbearable sewage smells emanating from a nearby septic tank. The purpose of our camping trip was to enjoy nature and spend quality time with family and friends. However, the constant sewage odor made it challenging to relax and fully enjoy our time at the campsite. The smell was on and off throughout the day, and it became increasingly hard to bear as time went on.While we understand that septic tanks are used for waste management, it appears that there might be a problem with the system near our camping area. The strong and persistent smell significantly impacted the overall experience and led to health concerns for all campers.A maintenance employee informed me that the septic tank was very close to the campground and that this is normal odor and nothing can be done about it!I sincerely hope that Yosemite Pines addresses this issue promptly and takes necessary measures to ensure that campers can enjoy a pleasant and odor-free environment in the future. Until this problem is resolved, I am hesitant to recommend this campsite to others. I will definitely never come back here!Nature is meant to be appreciated and cherished, but the sewage smells at Yosemite Pines unfortunately dampened our camping experience.Date of visit: 07/21/2023 to 07/23/2023.

We gathered at Yosemite Pines with my husband's family in 2013 to honor his parents and so they thought it fitting we should all reunite in Aug 2023 since they both passed away this past Spring. Since most family members were coming from out of state we rented cabins. Our cabin was B-2 and several other family members had cabins adjacent or across the road; all were located above and behind the general store and pool. As mentioned in other reviews, we were subjected to an intermittent, but frequent, sewage/septic smell which made gathering outside for games or meals almost unbearable. When we arrived to our cabin we noticed immediately our cabin didn’t have a picnic table or any type of grilling device. Wood-burning fires were banned during our stay so the only options were charcoal or propane. We notified management and they quickly delivered a picnic table and a gas grill which was much appreciated. The condition of the cabin itself was very run-down. There were holes in cabinet doors and walls. The bathroom door—which didn’t fully close due to warping—had a piece of plywood attached to the outside rather than simply installing a new door. The towel bar in the bathroom had been moved and no repair made to the large holes from its previous location. Candidly, it appeared there is very little maintenance and updating performed on these cabins. We were in a cabin which slept 8 people (Queen primary bed, sofa bed, queen bed and two twins in the loft). However, there was one extremely small bathroom and the ONLY mirror in the entire cabin was in the bathroom. We found it hard to believe they hadn’t installed any other mirrors throughout the cabin to be used by guests.I called Yosemite Pines prior to our arrival to ask what amenities were included in the kitchen, specifically if there was a coffee maker in the cabin and if coffee and filters were provided. I was told a coffee maker was provided and some starter packs of coffee; however, we brought the wrong type of filters because of incorrect information provided to us. It would be helpful if Yosemite Pines would update their website to reflect suggested items to bring. Another inconvenience was the refrigerator door being installed so that it opened opposite the kitchen. That, coupled with it being unable to open fully due to its depth and the kitchen counter location, made it impossible to access the refrigerator interior from the kitchen area.

We stayed 6 nights in a 40' 5th wheel. This is about as close as you can get to Yosemite without being inside the park. The weather was great and the RV part of the campground was moderately full. The sites are fairly level but the whole park is built on a mountain so everything is on an incline. Even though the RV App said the unit was level, we could tell it was just a bubble off. It didn't bother me. The sites are gravel with a picnic table and fire pit. No fires allowed while we were there due to fire danger. The bathrooms are a bit dated but they were clean. They have a store that carries a few items but if you need groceries, you will have to go to Groveland, about 3 miles. The park has a lot of other non RV camping facilities they rent like cabins, Yurts, Chuck Wagons, Vintage RVs, etc. They have a pool, a deli, and laundry facilities.I would give anyone a recommendation to stay here as it is a clean, well managed park and they staff was friendly. It is a bit tight for big rigs, but it isn't the worst I've been in. We would definitely stay here again.Nearby activities: About 20 miles from Yosemite Park

We had an RV site booked to stay one night after a friends wedding nearby. When we arrived around midnight we found the entire RV park and cabins had no electricity. Since we needed power we decided this wasn’t the place for us. Especially since it was overcrowded and noisy. We left and with the help of a friend we were able to park and plug in at a friends house. The next morning I emailed asking if we could get a refund since the reservation guaranteed electricity. They said they came in the morning, found our info still on the board, cancelled the reservation and couldn’t issue a refund. Not the best way to run a business if expecting a return customer. Based on poor customer service, failure to provide what we were supposedly paying for and basically running a trailer park, I would not recommend.

Overall a nice RV park. Nice pool and general store. The laundry options were quite reasonably priced. The sites were nicely spaced considering how close this RV park is to Yosemite. They do need to do some minor tree and vegetation trimming throughout the park to make driving RVs a little easier. Speed bumps are a little aggressive and need to be repainted to ensure you see them. The toilets on the upper part were smelly in the surrounding area a few times during our week visit. Overall a nice RV park. Highly recommended. About an hours drive to Yosemite valley, assuming no backups at the park entrance.

We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Yosemite with our RV and had a good experience. We checked in after office hours, but there was a note on the office door for us. Our campground was spacious and our neighbors very friendly! The restrooms and showers are clean, as is the pool area. They have a campstore with some basics and a deli. The road to the campground and then to Yosemite is curvy and hilly. The park itself is about an hour and 15 minutes away from Yosemite valley. Route 120 is open (we stayed the second week of June), so you can take the most direct route into the park.

Big camp with a great convenience store and friendly staff at registration. Restrooms and showers are clean. Very happy memories where we had good BBQ, nice music, and great company by many families with lovely kids. Short drive to Yosemite, so plan ahead and go there early (7am) to avoid long waiting time!Oh I almost forgot to mention, we had beautiful little blue birds coming over for popcorn. They ate the popcorn with elegance!Safety: Being surrounded by many other RVs felt very safe.Food & drinks: There are convenience stores (with snacks and ice cream) and a deli restaurant near the registration.

Overall a nice park in relative close proximity to Yosemite NP. Nice level sites. Lots of flies, mosquitos and what I believe were ground bees all over the park - made it difficult to sit outside - especially after dusk. We had a site with water and electric - no septic. Noticed the dump station was locked so asked about dumping and they stated they charge $5 even for people staying in the park to dump - first time in 6 years I've encountered that! Nice deli and pool on site. Had ice cream and us and others joked about the $5 cost for a 1 scoop cone that anywhere else would have been considered barely a kiddie cone. The park overall is OK, but some some adjustments in pricing / customer service would increase it's rating.

This campground was recommended to us, so we had high hopes. All of the staff we encountered were friendly, and our cabin we had was is good shape. The upside the this campground is that it is in a great location. Close to the small town, and Yosemite. The 1st downside of this place is it has a sewage smell that is horribly strong by the playground, and seeps to the cabins/rv sites. 2nd, we were crammed in. The Cabin sites offer little to no room to gather/allow kids to roam. They also did away with the petting zoo, we were bummed as we were looking forward to that. None of our tvs in our groups cabins worked, which was not a big deal, but just an heads up. Overall our stay was fine, but probably won’t be back.

RV sites were OK -- a little cramped. If you're pulling/driving an RV bigger than 35', get a pull-thru site, no matter what the campground says. ALSO--no cell service (AT&T) and campground doesn't offer wifi themselves, but a company called 'Tengo Internet' provides service. We bought the service, but the interface is really clunky and you can only add 2 devices (note that you can't use one device as a hotspot either). Not only that, but on our last day, when we're trying to get maps going and best routes for our RV, wifi kept going in and out and we'd have to log in every time we connected to wifi.

Used an RV site, was informed by site personal we would need 2 days to see the sites. We were done at one day and was packed up and ready to go by 9am. The site would not refund the second day of $102 because we reserved the site for 2 days from their recommendation. Plans change, we did not incur any more dollars for this resort since we were leaving before checkout time, this place has no compassion for life's changes.

Spent two weeks at Yosemite Pines. Nice, clean, and quiet RV Park and only 24 miles from Yosemite NP. Also, nice size washers and dryers that were inexpensive and coin operated. The only downside was the WiFi. The RV Park does have it, but we kept getting kicked out, and even my jet pack with booster that I was for work struggled. It was like we were in a WiFi semi-dead zone.

Amazing place to camp we were a group of 5 friends and we booked a walk in campsite.Knowing ourselves we knew we would want to talk and play music through the night and were able to achieve that.Although the first site assigned to us had sewage water fliwing nearby causing a lot of mosquitoes and insects to bite us but we were able to relocate to a new one with the help of the management.Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, clean bathrooms as well.

Had to pay extra for internet. And there is no cell service at all. Due to the road closure it is 2 hours from Yosemite instead of 20 minutes. Our campsite was not very level. But other than those things it was a pretty nice place. I enjoyed the nature trail. About a mile long and has some pretty good climbs.

To say that our experience was a complete and utter disaster would be an understatement.Firstly, the management team at this resort is atrocious. Their level of rudeness and disrespect was beyond belief, making us feel more like a nuisance than a valued guest. Customer service seems to be an alien concept to them. But the worst part was the horrifying realization that some of the staff exhibited clear racist attitudes. This is unacceptable and disturbing, and it's an issue that should be addressed immediately. No one should be subjected to such discrimination, especially when they're just trying to enjoy a vacation. We even witnessed in disbelief, racism and discrimination towards an LBGTQ+ couple right before our eyes. The facilities were not much better. If you're expecting a functional washing machine or stable internet and cell service, you're in for a rude awakening. The washing machines were out of order during our entire stay, and the promise of Wi-Fi and cell service seemed like a cruel joke, with neither to be found. The frequent power outages were the icing on the miserable cake. The resort seems to be ill-equipped to handle the grueling triple-digit temperatures, resulting in regular outages that left us sweltering in our RV.To top it all off, the manager seemed to have a palpable disdain for guests. I found myself wondering how someone who so clearly dislikes people ended up in hospitality.Lastly, be warned: the advertised location is grossly misleading. They claim to be 22 miles from Yosemite, but in reality, it took us a solid 2 hours to reach the park. The prices here are sky-high, and yet the maintenance is abysmal. The level of neglect is quite shocking. Considering the terrible experience we had, I urge all families and travelers to steer clear of this place. So, if you value respect, functionality, truth in advertising, and a hate-free environment, avoid Yosemite Pines RV Resort like the plague. This is a place where vacations go to die.

The RV Site itself was alright. The showers and toilets are not very nice. In the womens restroom (closest to our site) you could not lock one door. In the showers there are not everywhere hooks for towels and clothes. They are not very clean. The most disappointing was that there is not even one animal. Our daughter was looking forward to them as they where shown on the website. I asked in the office and was told that these are only pictures on the website. They did not say they still have animals. This is a very strange statement to my opinion. The pool would be cooler if there were some umbrellas. At the moment there ist no shaddow at all.

25 miles from Yosemite...but I can't drive those miles going 55mph like the locals can! The park was cool with the yurts and wagon glamping options, plus cabins and w/e sites as well as FHU sites that looked pull through. Nice dog run. The pool was nice size. Deli on site was okay. Overall great stay. Bummed I had to pay to sump on the way out...but it was only $5. I've just been spoiled by parks that allow dump site use for free upon exit.

I’m only reviewing one aspect of Yosemite Pines, but I think it speaks volumes and puts it on my list as a top option for the future. As a modestly frequent visitor to Yosemite (anywhere from 2-4x per year), I come through the Groveland area frequently, and I’m always looking for new campsites and places to stay. In this case, I incorrectly made reservations for Yosemite Pines for an event held somewhere else, which would have been an unpleasant surprise for me when I arrived. I had put some notes in my reservation, the Yosemite Pines management read the note, saw my mistake and reached out to me to double check. I was able to cancel my reservation other than a reasonable $10 fee, which saved me double booking and/or missing my event due to my mix up. Friendly and helpful management is the best indicator of the experience you can expect, and this was above and beyond. Between the first impression of the management and the great location – quiet and peaceful but a hop, skip and a jump from stores and restaurants in Groveland, which is a really cool spot – this is definitely on my list for Yosemite area options. Highway 120 is currently closed (as of mid-June’23), which I noticed has led to some bad reviews, but that’s hardly the fault of the campsite, and the road should be opened again soon. I’ll update my review once I get rescheduled and spend some time here.

We stayed here for 7 nights with our travel trailer. They gave us a spot over by the nature trail. Showers and bathrooms were usually clean and had TP and paper towels. We used the pool once and the kids loved it. They have a pretty good general store with essentials which was convenient. We used the laundry facilities which worked great! We were able to get quarters from the front office/general store. The general grounds keeping was well maintained. I didn't interact with the staff that much so I can't give much info on that. Yosemite Pines is about an hour to Yosemite Valley. The 120 just opened on June 10th so you can access the west side of the park. They are still rebuilding the road so expect some delays with that cause it seems like it's going to take a while to rebuild. Groveland is minutes away and has local artesian markets and a movie night in the park which we went to! If you go into Groveland check out the Iron door saloon. Oldest saloon in California, has great food, and is kid friendly!!All the other campers at the resort were all very friendly and kind. I will say it was quite noisy throughout the night while we were there. People didnt seem to use there low voices when doing stuff after hours which was tough waking up with loud people walking by all night.Pretty good location to the park and clean. Can't go wrong! Thanks for having us.

We booked this campsite for 2 nights to visit the Yosemite National Park. When we arrived after a long drive the staff told us, we would need 2,5 hours to get to the park Yosemite National Park. On their website it’s written that it’s only 22 miles. If you want to visit the National Park, don’t book this. As this is false advertisement right now and you would need in total 5 hours back and forth to get to Yosemite valley. We contacted the customer service but they did not see the mistake they made - we just wanted to cancel the second night so we could stay closer to the park the next day.The staff was passive aggressive, we could not cancel our second night. We do not recommend this campsite. You even have to pay for wifi (there is no signal - another chance to make money for the campsite)This is by far the worst campground we stayed in and the people who work there are rude and very unfriendly.

I would rather give a negative star rating if it were possible. Our 10-day stay at Yosemite Pines RV Park was a veritable nightmare from start to finish. From the moment of our arrival, we were greeted with an air of dismissiveness from the staff that was only outmatched by their total lack of professionalism. The entire team, including their manager, Carmella Hoeft, seemed utterly disinterested in offering even a semblance of decent customer service.During our stay, the entire campground lost power amidst triple-digit heat, an event which forced us to leave early for safety and comfort reasons. When approached for a partial refund, the staff proved unaccommodating, flippantly disregarding our dire situation. The promise of a "follow-up with corporate" has proven to be an empty one, as we never received any communication afterwards. We experienced yet another frustration when their on-site washing machines ruined over $200 worth of my fiance's clothing. Not only did we receive no consideration for the cost of the damaged clothing, but we also didn't even get refunded for the cost of using the malfunctioning machines. After being forced to leave prematurely due to the unbearable heat and lack of power, a package that was delivered to us at the RV Park was held hostage by the manager, Carmella Hoeft. She outrageously demanded a $50 Venmo payment plus postage for her to mail it out to us, a display of rudeness and unprofessionalism that I found hard to believe.Overall, Yosemite Pines RV Park lacks any semblance of basic human compassion or hospitality. Their staff looks down upon guests, who pay exorbitant amounts of money to stay at their poorly-maintained and malfunctioning RV Park.I urge anyone considering a stay here to think twice. This is not a place where you will be valued or respected as a paying guest. The experience we had was wholly unacceptable, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
