I normally never leave reviews anywhere, but I felt compelled that I express my gratitude and respect for Dr.Swanson and his staff. My 7 month old Lab was diagnosed with parvo at an emergency vet in Roseville (won’t name who) and then proceeded to turn us away for care. From there I called approx 6 different emergency vet clinics where they all turned me away. Out of desperation we called our primary vet Milbradt. Veronica was immensely helpful with getting communication over to Dr.Swanson. Even though it was a fully booked Friday he made the time to prescribe exactly what we needed to get him through the weekend ahead. A month later to the day Oakley is well and thriving all thanks to Dr.Swanson and his team. If there is a place to trust your pet to this is the one!

I LOVE this Vet Hospital! I took my Regina here and turns out they told us Regina is a Reggie:) They are the best. Reggie got a vaccine shot there. The first time exam was $55 and the vaccine shot was $25. Very Affordable! and Excellent Staff! They were so caring for Reggie:)

They were mean and had no Empathy or sympathy especially when losing an animal that's been with you for years and years and years. My daughters have that dog for 12 frickin years it helped erase her boys. I mean that dog loved them boys like they were 1 of her own.

I took my rescue kitten there to be seen for ringworm and was given a topical treatment and informed that in 1-2 days they would call me when the oral medication came in. I didn't receive any call after 2 days so day 3 I called them and was informed they would call me when the medication came in. After one week of no calls, I called at 9am and was informed the medication came in that morning and they would call when it was ready. At 4:30pm still no call so I went and picked it up. I was also informed that the kitten was too small to recieve the medication and he needed to weigh more before starting it. Had that been communicated to me beforehand I would not have been so anxious to get him started on it. Just a bit frustrated in regards to the lack of communication. Would have appreciated an update regarding the medication and if there are delays it's important to communicate that. It's no fun taking care of a sick animal that has already been on medications for respiratory and eye infections and a little communication goes a long way.

Great staff... Knowledgeable Dr's and very reasonable prices. Was also late for my appointment and they were still able to see me.... Very down-to-earth clinic. I think way better than the VCA in Yuba city.... I'm very pleased with my decision to switch to milbradt 👍

Wow! I cannot praise Dr. Swanson and his staff for welcoming us back to the practice. I had left a few years ago because of the past vet. I really loved the office, the facility and such but didn’t get the vibes I wanted from the previous vet. Well after meeting Dr. Swanson and then having him neuter our beloved golden retriever, I’m definitely sticking to this practice for good! They were kind and helpful. They explained everything. They honored the estimate they quoted me for the surgery. They didn’t try to sell me unnecessary meds or procedures. I am excited to have a great vet so close to my home. I didn’t like having to go to Chico for vet services. I know this doctor loves pets as much as I do and I know he cares for them as he would his own. Check it out! Give them a chance. You won’t be disappointed !

We just moved here and needed a new vet. I found Milbradt Veterinary Hospital and decided to go there. They have great services for you. You can get shots taken care of in the morning or later in the day, whatever is convenient for you. The doctor will come out and talk to you personally about your animals during the visit. Doctor and staff or so nice and professional. My dogs were happy going in and coming out. As I was waiting in the parking lot I was able to meet some people and ask them about this place and of course they love the place too.

Dr. Chris Swanson explains reasons why things happen and explains x-ray results and procedures well, but doesn't talk down to me. He could have put my dog on arthritis expensive pain meds, but instead told me they were hard on the liver, and to try fish oil and glucosamine. He doesn't rip me off and always suggests alternatives to expensive procedures for which he could make more money. So he is honest and friendly. Also the vet techs are very kind to my dogs and the front desk staff is terrific and friendly. Thank you to Milbradt! This is my own review based on 4 years of a LOT of visits to Milbradt with my older dogs.

We have used Milbradt Veterinary for over 15 years. We have always found great service here. We train hunting labs, and have purchased many puppy packages through the years. We refer all new owners to Milbradt. The wait is never long, and the professionalism and care they give our dogs has always been top notch. It may have changed ownership, but the quality of care remains. We highly recommend them.

So thankful for this place. My boy of almost 17 years old was time to cross the rainbow. They were so gentle patient compassionate, was stressful for me to be able to make the decision. We called several places closer to home and no reply. Milbradt Veterinarian was open and made a appointment right away, can not say enough how great full I am for their services.

Had a really nice experience with the vet. My dog has always been put to sleep to cut his paws and they cut his paws within 5 minutes. The staff are really friendly.
