Been going here for almost 30 years now. It is my second home when I don't feel like cooking. The food is comfortable in the best sense of the word. Real, authentic, tasty and reasonably priced. Cannot recommend it too highly. On a budget? Get yourself a half a egg salad sandwich in an Old Rasputin and you'll go home in a good mood.

Delightful location with dog friendly patio. We went for the polenta and we’re not disappointed. The staff was attentive and friendly - excellent service. The facility is cute and has history.I had the goat cheese and pesto polenta which I couldn’t get enough of, but ended up taking some home - it was a generous portion. My daughter had the polenta and meatballs and cleaned her plate! We did start with a wedge salad and finished with the fruit crisp.Absolutely will go back!

Good comfort breakfast in the area with prompt service and good hospitality. The California scramble was very freshly prepared with just enough of everything and not too much. The sourdough was crispy and warm and the coffee was robust and flavorful. All local ingredients and fresh. Good place to visit and enjoy. Definitely recommend a stop here from the larger towns and enjoy the views.

Delicious food, cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend for lunch or breakfast. The open faced salmon sandwich was just fantastic and the potato salad side was fresh and filling.

Such a fun atmosphere! Unfortunately very little options for egg free. Polenta or yogurt is about it. Polenta with steamed spinach with a side of toast was good. Oat milk vanilla latte was delicious. All the egg eaters were thrilled with their meals. Would love to see some more plant based hot meal options. Will visit again.Vegetarian options: Nearly every dish is egg.

We dropped in for breakfast/brunch and we’re seated quickly. Staff was pleasant and responsive, patio was warm and lovely in spite of downpours off and on. The FOOD! So good, fresh and cooked perfectly. Great flavors with herbs, roasting and sautéed veggies that weren’t cooked to death, just enough. We had the Market Plate and the Carnitas plate. Avocado relish was delish, an ample amount, not the usual tablespoon that doesn’t satisfy. Carnitas and polenta were standout good.Only wish is that they would list what items are local - we want our bucks to support local organic farmers! It’s hard to find a restaurant this good in the area - we came from the Russian River. Especially for breakfast, there are very few choices and none of them have satisfied like Willow Wood. We will be back!

One of my favorite spots ever. Right in the heart of the small town of Graton where I grew up in since 1978. My family and I have been eating here for over a decade. The food is consistently very good. Willow wood is what adds to the magic of our town’s charm. Love the Farmer’s Scrambled Eggs and love love the Polenta. Also, the Creme Brulee is amazing, along with every desert I’ve had on the menu. Nice people. Cozy sweet atmosphere. Cute backyard area if you want to eat outside as well. ☺️ (Edit: This is now a really nice enclosed patio area)

someone in the kitchen really knows what they’re doing with eggs! they were cooked perfectly to my liking, and their french toast was delicious. love the cozy, old timey atmosphere. my main complaint is that egg dishes take up most of the menu, I wish there was some more variety. also, the bloody mary was disappointing, although the mimosa made up for it.Vegetarian options: menu items can be modified to be vegetarian

Mostly wonderful, latte as really should be albeit too big. Nice fun atmosphere and nice good staff. Beware things called French. Seems like they add that word to the worst thing on the menu to help it sell when they really should just leave it off the menu.

This place was absolutely delicious! Smoked salmon sandwich was delicious. We also got the trout salad and rock shrimp polenta and both were so flavorful and delicious as well. Service was also amazing! Would highly recommend this lunch spot. Would have loved to try out their breakfast

I was excited to be here this morning. I have been here many times over the years and had excellent service but this time no by Macy. I was solo sitting on the side. I had two cups of coffee before she came over to take my order. My order came up after the couple next to me were served and they came in some time after me and ordered the same dish. My meal was delivered by another person and no one came to check to see how it was. I waved her down for the bill and a box and asked how long she had been working here. Four years. I told her I was disappointed in her lack of service and no effort to see to me and she said she was busy with other customers. She became defensive and loud; and when I asked the bus person the waiter’s name she told him not to give it to me. Wow. Kudos to the remainder of the staff as they were responsive and friendly.

Nice variety with respect to items. Quick service even when crowded- big plus! Yummy breakfast choices. Quality is outstanding. Fairy priced. The “MUST TRY” dish - the french toast - the batter contains Haagen Dazs ice cream!! Taste - Out of the world!!! We ordered this dish three times after a heavy breakfast!

Great place to stop in Graton. There is a lovely back patio. Does get crowded during weekend hours but that should not be a surprise. Good food, tastes like it's all made from scratch. Nice selection of wines too.

It was the first time I'd gone here for dinner. My friends and I were ignored after our drinks were brought to us as it seemed to take forever before we could place our order. We wanted to start with salads first and once again it was taking way too long. Our entrees were eventually brought out and we reminded our waitress she completely forgot our salads. Once we had our food we were forgotten again.I have eaten lunch here before and always had excellent service along with good food. It must have been an off night.

Menu is full of tempting, mouth-watering options.. the Goat Cheese plate was fantastic and left me wanting more. We also got another salad - pretty hungry after a decent rainy hike...Had both the Steak sandwich and the Ham & Brie sandwich, with potato salad and cole slaw. Both were satisfying, with the steak sandwich coming in ahead of the ham&brie. The fruit cobbler for dessert was good although a larger scoop of ice cream would've been appreciated as it cut through the overly sweet cobbler.Service was rather perfunctory and I had to find more water during the meal as we were not checked on, even though the table next to us seemed to receive appropriate attention. With the cost of the meal (2 lunches and a shared dessert) I expected much better.Parking: There were a couple of open spaces down Graton Street - there may have been more down the side streets

While visiting my aunt for her 82nd birthday, whom I hadn't seen in many years, she recommended this place. I didn't expect much. Just a little place down the street, as it seems everything is in Sebastopol. Man, I was impressed. Of course, friendly staff, good ambiance, sat in the back patio area, which is one of the reasons we came. They had a muffaletta on the menu! My favorite sandwich. A sandwich I hadn't had in a long time and something me and my chefs were just discussing two days prior. They did a variation of it, not deconstructed, but an out of the box presentation. Loved it. My aunt is simple and just wanted a piece of salmon and a side of veggies that wasn't on the menu. She didn't want to make a fuss but was a little disappointed. We asked the kitchen if it was possible. They said yes, and it made her day. Her simple dish was terrific. We were both in such a great mood at the end of the meal. You guys know what you're doing and I was so happy to see a little creativity and passion in the food and ingredients. The accommodation you guys made for aunt was appreciated, and I want to say that because I know the boh doesn't hear it enough. Awesome job everyone, sincerely.

Fantastic sounding menu, but didn’t quite deliver. The pork sandwich was good, but the Huevos Rancheros was tortilla, beans & egg, no sauce, something I have never seen before in many, many renditions of this dish. When I asked for some salsa or “green or red sauce”, I got a nice house made hot sauce, and was charged $2.50 extra for it! Just seems silly. I also had asked to have eggplant dip instead of cheese on on dish & was told that wasn’t possible, due to “cost”. (Seems eggplant is much less expensive than imported cheese?) It’s a cute little place, food is good, just a couple of things could make it much better.

Really good food here. The soft-scrambled eggs were delicious. As was the french toast. Best breakfast we have found in this area.

Visited this cute place last night. Great atmosphere and selection of foods. It’s hard to tell what is vegan though as you have to read everything to find cheese in a different part of each description. That’s not the reason for the review though. While everything was amazing, especially the outdoor patio, the service was hard to bear. I believe you shouldn’t have to question where your server is or how long it’s been since your ordered. She never came and ask how the food was or why it was taking so long. We never even got our appetizer. Normally I’d say maybe she’s having a bad day but her mood was completely different to the tables around us. I’d be willing to try the place again because the food was amazing but only if I have no plans right after my meal.Ps try the ginger brew🙌🙌

First the pros:The atmosphere was cute and very small town cafe/bistro and the patrons we spoke with while waiting for a table were all very friendly. Now the unfortunately longer list of cons:After getting seated we (table of 4) ordered waters, after hiking from Sebastopol along the trail, and were told they were out of clean water glasses and they'd bring some to us once they were clean. Okay, not ideal but they probably had a busy morning. We ordered our food and proceeded to wait. Our food did not take long thankfully but when it came out all 4 dishes were somehow already lukewarm and the portion sizes were disappointingly small for the price. I had 2 eggs, 3 slices of bacon, a small handful of their breakfast potatoes, about 8 pieces of assorted fruit of grape size, and a single slice of toast for nearly $20We began eating, still with no water or alternatively offered drinks, and were over halfway done with our meal when we noticed new tables being sat had waters being brought to them. We flagged down a passing busboy and asked if he could please get us waters, as our server had not come by at all to check on us. They brought us out waters a few minutes later with no apology and we finished our meal a few minutes later. When it came to the check we were able to get it fairly quickly thankfully but then no one came to pick it up. Which was disappointing because the patio was fairly empty at that point. I finally got up to approach our waitress to ask if I'm supposed to pay up front but she took the check and processed it.Overall I was quite disappointed with our experience. I understand there is limited options for the locals but I hope our experience is not the norm for their sake and for other hikers hoping for a nice rest after a long hike.

Fantastic spot in the little town of Graton. Excellent and unusual food. My only negative is that the service is very West County, ie., v-e-r-y laid back. Don't go here if you are on any time of time constraint.
