Great restaurant with country setting. Had lunch today..April 6th..see receipt.Shared the patty melt with fries (fries 4 bucks extra). Good flavor. Also had the chicken pot pie soup to go (omg..delicious!), and my friend ordered a slice of caramel pecan pie to go. Strong coffee! They have indoor and outdoor seating plus picnic tables in the grassy area. They are known for their delicious pies! Its located on colfax highway with relaxing views in the back of the restaurant. Even with inflation its still somewhat reasonable nowadays! Melanie our server was friendly and on top of everything!Its a great stop to unwind and relax!

In October, I was staying at an Airbnb nearby and went here for lunch and the food is delicious! The salads and sandwiches are tasty and very fresh. The peach pie was ammmmazing! They have pies in 2 sizes regular $25 and small $10. They also have delicious jams. I bought an apricot preserve for $10. That was also very good.The restaurant has benches around the establishment outside, or there is indoor seating. It does get busy and frequently has a line, but the food is worth it.Vegetarian options: Very tasty salads

I used to get my pies from the two famous places down in Auburn. Well...even with one of those two having new ownership, I can say that neither hold a candle to the pies from Happy Apple, and the Happy Apple pies are less expensive. My only beef is what I consider rather slow service, especially at the outside to-go window. This place has better food, too, than the Auburn pie place, at much lower prices.

My family has been visiting Happy Apple for lunch for at least 30 years. Not much has changed and that's perfect. My mom has always enjoyed the Happy Apple Burger with unsweetened applesauce. I'm in love with the Turkey Ortega sandwich on sourdough. The best though has to be their seasonable milk shakes, notably the peach one. An absolutle beast. At the moment only outdoor seating, but that's fine because both their vine covered patio and grass area under the trees is scenic and comfortable to enjoy during the warm summer.

A great pandemic retreat! Beautiful drive to really good, great quality food. Their strawberry shakes alone make the trip worthwhile... Unfortunately i was disappointed that much for a on their pies ... The filling was good but the dough was hard and not flaky. If you're going to spend that much for a pie, try Ikeda's...

This is a mom and pop restaurant. A little more pricey but far worth the prices. Their food is outstanding, and their pies? Well, try them and let me know. I happen to love a good crust and theirs is hands down, one of the best. The folks working here are very fun. They seem to like their jobs.

This is a wonderful family owned restaurant with great food and pies. I have been several times with my kids. We sit on the patio or picnic tables and just relax. It's a great destination for a relaxing day in the country. Also check out their farm stand during the summer or pumpkin patch in fall. Truly a wonderful experience that is close to town!
