This is my favorite coffee shop in Grass Valley. Everything here is completely gluten free and it tastes so good! I also love their maple mushroom chai and lavender matcha. On a hot summer day the iced mint tea is also great.Crinkle cookies and donuts are my favorite - I hope they make more of the elusive maple donuts, I've only ever seen them twice.There is local art and a forest vibe here and I always love to visit just for a break from the day. All of the staff are always super nice. I'm a regular there for sure :)Dietary restrictions: The best place ever for gluten free baked goods! They also have plenty of dairy free options and sugar free drinks. They're very diet conscious so you can always ask them about specific ingredients if you have a preference or allergy.

Loved this coffee shop and bakery! We walked in and the place smelt absolutely amazing. The customer service was great as she helped lead us through some of the fresh options just out of the oven and discussed some of the homemade syrups. Definitely hope to return for more!

Super cute place. Love the decor. Friendly service. Tried the veggie hand pie which resembles the historic pastie that the miners ate during the mining days here in this historic town. The pie was a little dry for my taste but had good flavor. Of course I had to try a fancy cupcake as well. Food tastes healthy and homemade not sugary and chemical flavors like the norm when you eat out. Had the buttercream frosting cupcake and if you love butter it tasted exactly like real butter,a lot of it. Lol. The chai latte tastes like chai so if your into sweet chai lattes that commercial chain places make don’t be surprised it’s not super sweet. They are also gluten free which is healthy even if you are not allergic to gluten it’s great to have gluten free food. Was here in October and the entire downtown area has cute Halloween decor all over the streets.

We love coming here for the treats and drinks. The hand-pies, scones, cinnamon rolls, bread pudding, coffee cake- all of it is yummy. Their chai is one of my kids’ favorite in Grass Valley. I am thankful that Corvus has extended their hours too.

Went to Grass Valley yesterday and found myself squeeing like a teenager at a $20 bill. I’ve been diagnosed with Celiac for 12 years now. This is the first time i saw a flaky pastry! It was all delicious. I noticed some pictures missing on google maps that would have helped so here they are for the community.Very delicious, will definitely make the trip from an hour away just for Corvus Bakery again.

If I could give this place infinite stars, I would! Best coffee I’ve ever had. Homemade syrups 👌 The honey rose cardamom was BEYOND AMAZING and not too sweet! I had a veggie pie and the pie crust was delicious! I wish I could transport this place to Lancaster, PA so I could go every day! SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF!

This is the best little bakery and coffee shop I have ever been to in my whole life. Never mind that it is gluten free. That is just a bonus. They have the best baked goods and they serve absolutely excellent coffee. Im a coffee snob so thats saying something. The owner has decorated the place so cute and she has an amazing crew. I love love love this place. The cranberry orange scones are my favorite. They make all their own ingredients and use organic in most things. Even the cows milk is organic! You can’t go wrong with whatever you try. First place I ever had a savory scone which is fabulous. Also first place I tried micro greens on a frittata. YUM! You just cant go wrong here.Vegetarian options: Veggie frittata, salads, veggie hand pieDietary restrictions: 100% gluten free everythingKid-friendliness: Appropriate atmosphere for family. Sometimes music is weird.

Ordered 3 specialty Coffee's and pastries. All were good. Nice atmosphere. Our experience would have been nice however, if you order 2 double shots (4 shots) of espresso and ask for a larger cup to allow for some half n' half, they wanted to charge me for a Breve' with 2 extra shots. I said I didn't want a Breve' as it is too weak. I promised I wouldn't use any more than I would use in a regular coffee. I was totally made to feel like a cheapskate in front of all customers and employees present. Literally only used 2 oz of 1/2 n' 1/2. Just whom is really being the cheapskate here? This is literally a hypocritical blame shift with the intent to gaslight. Understanding there are some patrons that may take advantage of your establishments condiments does not mean that a paying patron whom orders 4 items has this intent. Not a very good business tactic, let alone way to treat your customers or welcome them to return. Customer Relations 101. Update to Managers reply 11/28/2023:Appreciate the response & concern as my intent was to only to bring this to the business owners attention as a constructive awareness means to improve relations with customers and the community aura of your establishment.

I picture might be worth a thousand calories, but it's worth it! Actually, as a person who doesn't have a choice in being gluten free, this is the absolute best bakery I have been to, and I have tried at least a dozen in California. It's delicious even if you're not strictly gluten free.

I adore the environment here & the staff is always so friendly. Unfortunately I am barely ever able to eat here. I wish they would add more savory vegan options to their menu on a consistent basis. The vegan items I have been able to try every once in awhile like when the soup happens to be vegan are delicious! Would love to be able to come here more frequently to eat.

I am allergic to gluten and it is so wonderful to have a place in town that makes delicious gluten free options. I love the apple and vegetable hand pies. They also have great coffee and tea options. Plus they play good music!

I need to eat gluten-free, so I don't go to bakeries anymore. But my daughter found Corvus, and gave me a $20 gift card for Christmas. I didn't get there until mid-April 2023, and I had a concern: the gift card (with a magnetic strip on the back) briefly came in contact with the magnet on my phone holster.The lady at the counter checked the balance on the card, and - sure enough - it was zero. But instead of telling me "tough luck," she went above and beyond and tracked down my balance from the number on the card. She fixed it for me!I got to use the gift card to buy a raspberry lemon scone, which was my breakfast. I also got a chicken sausage, which I had for dinner.Wonderful food, and impressive service. I'll be back!Thanks.

As a long time employee and even longer time customer…Corvus is one of my favorite places in the area. Laura is an amazing owner and person to work with, and the rest of our team is just as great! The customers are pretty extraordinary too :)The atmosphere in Corvus is one of a kind, with delicious pastries and drinks, lots of smiles, and beautiful art work…I find myself coming in to grab goodies even on my days off!Whether you’re looking for your new daily bakery/coffee shop, or just passing through town and need a delicious gluten free pastry and drink for the road…or anything in between… I highly recommend checking Corvus out!!

Very disappointed in the treatment I got today. I've been coming to Corvis bakery for about 2 months now with my 2 American bullies Lola and Penelope. My dogs are two calm, quiet extremely well trained off leash and on leash dogs. On our 1st visit to the bakery, a staff member asked to take pictures to post on their website. We typically order our food and coffee and sit outside but we have also eaten inside while customers, children and adult alike, pet and talk to my girls. I have seen several other dogs in the coffee shop. Today, there was a poodle in the coffee shop with its owner sitting down eating. I was asked if my dogs were service dogs. I responded no to the owner. I was told to order my coffee and go outside... while other dogs are allowed in the shop to sit with their owners. All the staff know my dogs, and customers love my girls. This is really unfair. My two girls have the natural and trained ability/ mentality to save you from a burning building. I won't be coming back. Rude owner. Thanks for the reply and I understand your situation. I'm getting my dogs "support dog certified". I'm presuming I will have no issues after this. Thanks, Beth

This is such a cute bakery in beautiful downtown Grass Valley. My husband has celiac disease and it is such a treat to find a completely gluten free bakery where he can order anything (and everything!) off the menu. We shared a cinnamon roll, veggie frittata and avocado egg toast. They were all incredible! The staff is super friendly, too! We can’t wait to come back.

Mother's Day my kids asked to take me to get dessert/treat. We decided to go some place we had never been. So we picked Corvus Bakery... oh. my. gosh y'all! I can sit here and complain to you that I have no idea what half their menu is called and nothing is labelled so you have to ask BUT once you get past that and taste your food- you WILL. NOT. CARE! We have been back since and its only been a couple weeks. Their treats are the perfect level of sweet and flavorful. Their food has so many layers of taste... all of it has been delicious! The staff is friendly and super helpful and their little bakery is adorable! Any time we walk around DTGV, we will be stopping in!

This place is an absolute hidden gem, I've had celiac for 4 years and haven't found a dedicated bakery near me. There is a no wheat sign on the door and the atmosphere is so inviting. The line was long but the employees worked in harmony and everyone was served quickly. There were so many options I almost got one of everything and I was not disappointed, I will be making a trip to Grass Valley again just to visit Corvus, the food is dedicated deliciousness and my stomach is so full and happy! Thank you so much for dedicating this facility gluten free. And it's so good you don't even miss the gluten one bit!! Definitely a must try for Celiacs!!

I was pleasantly surprised to find this gluten free bakery / coffee shop while on vacation in Grass Valley with my son. The quality / taste of their gluten free products is fantastic and the atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. I highly recommend trying their plum bread pudding.

Everything here is fantastic and delicious! Best bakery in town. I crave their decadent brownies (best I’ve ever had) and they have a legit authentic matcha latte. Persian Rose cake - amazing! A nice place to work as well with wifi, outlets, nice tables, good natural light, great general atmosphere and decor, chill soundtrack every time I’ve been there (Mac Demarco, Deerhunter, Chromatics, etc). And a super friendly staff as well! So happy they are here in Grass Valley.

This bakery is absolutely amazing! All of the staff is so nice and the food is amazing. The veggie frittata is more than amazing, it is immaculate. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone in Grass Valley or visiting the area. Everything there is also gluten free which is great for anyone with food restrictions. Please visit this amazing local bakery and definitely try the apple hand pie.
