Bierwagen's Donner Trail Fruit and Pumpkin Patch is a great destination for families and friends looking for a fun and festive autumn experience. The fruit and pumpkin selection is ample and diverse, allowing visitors to pick their own produce and create their own unique basket of goodies. The pumpkin patch itself is well-maintained and has a variety of sizes and shapes to choose from, making it perfect for carving jack-o'-lanterns or decorating for the fall season. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, offering assistance and tips on selecting the perfect pumpkin. Bierwagen's Donner Trail Fruit and Pumpkin Patch is a fantastic place to get into the autumn spirit and make some lasting memories.

Beautiful family owned farm! Great place to go for a real pumpkin patch experience without all the craziness! The hayride was fun and the farmer even stopped and educated us about the pigs!

best and only pumpkin patch in the area!! pick your own pumpkin from the field and then end your visit with some yummy treats from the snack shake. there's also numerous farm animals to see including a giant turkey (that I'm sure come November will be a goner lol)plus it's a working farm which means you're not only supporting a local business but a long standing farming family in Nevada county!!love the bierwagons and wouldn't ever go anywhere else!

This place is my grandson and I our favorite place to go every year. We always have lunch and relax. See the animals and then pick out pumpkins. Food is always hot and delicious!

We love this farm. Animals to pet, pumpkins to pick, and the best home grown apple cider and apple fritters. Fun and safe for families.

Very cute location with a landing spot made up of old barns and big shade trees to keep the still-warm sun at bay. Various farm animals to view/pet, a delicious smelling snack stand with well-spaced outdoor seating, fresh apple cider, and a handful of local fiber artists selling from market stalls all make this a great place to spend an afternoon. People can walk a ways across the field to choose their pumpkin out of the patch. We loaded up one of their metal wagons with 6 large pumpkins--the walk back was a bit athletic once in awhile, but doable for people who can traverse uneven dirt paths and go up and down small hills. A really classic, fun pumpkin patch/small farm experience. I look forward to going again next year!

Everyones super friendly and we can't get enough of their fresh cider😍 Have cute little picnic area and if your lucky you'll be there on a day when they are cooking up some goodies. The animals are adorable and sweet and some like a nice scratch. Beautiful, small, quaint farm. Wonderful people both staff and fellow patrons. My family and I had a great time taking a wagon and walking to the patch to get a pumpkin then sitting at a picnic table in the shade to enjoy pulled pork sandwich, cupcake, and apple cider.

Great pumpkin patch. Really nice staff, nice, happy people attending, great prices on pumpkins, some animals, good pulled pork sandwiches, BUT DONT BUY THE BOYSENBERRY PIE!!!😭😡 So sad and disappointed! The single slices they sell look amazing, but we bought a $20 pie that was literally the exact consistency as water!😭 Can't even eat it! Nothing holds on a fork and its not very appetizing to drink pie off a spoon. So so sad about it, was looking forward to pie for dessert and no one could eat it. Other than that the patch was awesome.

This lovely family owned farm has farm animals, a pumpkin patch, delicious fresh pressed apple cider, and a warm inviting place to sit and enjoy lunch or some hot apple fritter nuggets! You can even pick up locally raised chicken, beef and pork, along with other products made by local artisans. I love supporting this small business! ❤️

Always kind & gracious family! We have been going to the farm for about 30 years and are very very appreciative. We have enjoyed the fruits and vegetables and the family feeling. I have taken many students on Apple field trips and we learned a lot about the process of raising and harvesting apples.

My favorite pumpkin patch by far. Not to big. Still small, family friendly and wonderful staff. Please don’t grow to Bushop size and become a human zoo.

Nice environment but the old lady that runs the place is mean old witch! Maybe she is just playing the part because it's close to Halloween but I highly doubt it! I couldn't tell if the broom next to her was parked there by her or just there for cleaning. Steer clear of her if possible, I wouldn't want to see anyone end up in her witches brew!
