Store not open at 9am do to not being ready said to come back at 10am. Don’t understand what that means but the manager was standing at the front door not letting anyone in. He also seemed very rude and not professional. Store hours were posted 9am opening time

I have tried to give this place a chance over and over but they continue to disappoint. One technician is ok with my poodles hair- another complaints it’s too matted and cuts in completely. My poodle would always itch after bath so my vet suggested medicated shampoo- this place was charging me for using my own shampoo!!! After I complained they placed restrictions on my account and now I can’t schedule appointments. So much for their petco membership! Over 2 years of dissatisfaction I am done with you petco!

I usually go to this branch even though Northridge branch is closer to where I live. The shelves here are well stocked and organized. Floors are maintained. And most importantly, the staff are nice and friendly.I’ve been scheduling my dog everywhere for her grooming before Brett. But now, I think we found our person to do my dog’s regular grooming. Although we weren’t able to get the cut that I wanted for my dog because of the amount of matting, Brett did a great job in trying to save the matted hair. The best thing he did was he informed me before I come to pick up my dog - at least I wasn’t shocked how it turned out.Good customer service! I hope all branches do this too.

Went in to buy feeder goldfish. The tank had a sticker on it $.25. Asked for assistance. A female employee showed looking a little irritated. Got to checkout rang up at $.29. Total checker that the price on the tank was different and she said "oh". That's it, no help. She said that's the price because that's what it rang up. I paid and left. 50 cents isn't a big deal but maybe customer service could improve. I would recommend checking your receipts on your purchases. Could be a lot of money being fleeced.

Your employee Daniel " DJ" did an excellent job. I had called the night before looking for a particular brand of Dog food. He said he wanted to double check to make sure they had it. Low and behold you had it. I advised DJ that I would be in tomorrow. The next day I came in and since I was having trouble finding it, DJ said hold on let me show exactly where it is. DJ is very welcoming and has excellent Customer Service skills. Please recognize him because DJ ROCKS!

The Petco store in Granada Hills is the best! The staff and very friendly and helpful. Our long time dog groomer Brett is awesome, he really takes the time to give my dog a stress free experience.

Placed an online order to pick up here. The store only had one attendant to handle the online orders and walk in purchases. Petco botched the order. Had to stand to the side and wait while the walk-ins were done. THEN they discover they DON’T HAVE ANY OF THE ITEMS in my order, requiring my having to travel across town to see if I can get the items I need.Petco seriously needs to up their game, as this kind of ineptitude is inexcusable, especially with their online system which they tout as being quicker and more efficient.

like the variety of pet foods and the employees are always very nice and helpful. What I keep having an issue with is that being a petco member for years and I never had to download your app to get my discount. I am elderly and although I am technically capable I don't download apps on my phone. I am very disappointed that in order for me to get my discount for supporting your business, one would have to download the app! NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY! Why did you change that???????????? If your cashier brings up my phone # they should be able to apply my 5 dollar discount. Period!

Took a beautiful Maltese to get her hair cut. He asked short medium or long. We said medium and ended up with a bald dog with all the pink on her skin showing. Yes the pictures are the same dog, my 8 year old cried the whole way home.

Scheduled grooming appt this morning for our older dog. When I showed up, they said bc she's on heart worm/flea protection med & has arthritis, is petco policy not to groom them. Strange policy at this location bc had her groomed at another petco 1 month ago. It would be helpful to know what exclusionary policies each place has before booking & driving over.

Jerminah is one of the worst pet groomers I’ve ever had. Every time I take my doggy to him, he leaves my dog dirty, does not brush his teeth and does not cut my dog’s fur correctly. It always comes out crooked! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND JERMINAH TO ANY PET OWNER!

They groomed my dog then other day & whatever they spray in the grooming room doesn't smell wierd at all & discouraged my dog from marking/peeing. Inwas impressed with the staff's friendliness, grooming skills, speed & whatever they use to clean the grooming waiting area. Thanks.

Very disappointed that Petco does not disclose that they will not groom your pet if its on medication. I answered questions online, made the appointment and showed up to be turned away.

My dogs loves training here , he enjoys that he gets special treats after class . We try to attend puppy play time , which is free here for puppy’s under 6 months . Overall it has everything I need .

They are a good size store with many selections. They are expensive but they have quality items. The workers are very busy and helpful. The store is very clean and organized. The animals look well cared for. They have grooming here if you need.
