These people are not very friendly, very slow and forget going through the drive through it doesn't work half the time. And they seem to run out of meds a lot. And they never get my prescriptions from my dr. Dr's send it but they say they never received them. So I am leaving them as if today

The most incompetent pharmacy in town.Getting a prescription here has about a 30% success rate. They will loose your information, loose your prescription, not answer their phones or be able to explain why there is a block on your order.I've collectively wasted days waiting here only to be told "sorry, come back another day" with an apathetic shoulder shrug and a slack jaw.This place seemingly exist only to sell Arizona ice tea to the herd of twitching meth attics that lurk around the building 24 hours a day, drawn by the shanty town across the street.All the useful stuff is locked up and a simple trip to the store to get some razors could result in a 30 minute wait for the lone working employee to retrieve the key for the plexiglass box with the forbidden toiletries. Go here if you want to experience a taste of the post capitalist American decline, otherwise avoid it.

Had to switch my CVS locations because the one closest to my house is closing ???? BUT this one on Shields is actually MUCH bigger and has so many more items to look at!!! NOT a fan of the huge homeless encampment right on Shields under all the nice trees CVS or City of Fresno planted….other than that, the CVS is clean and organized inside.

This is my regular pharmacy. Wait time on the phone can be long, but I always get the help I need. The staff is pleasant and helpful. I'm usually greeted when I enter. I get my meds delivered most of the time. I find that to be efficient. I was going to move my Rx to a closer CVS but the reviews there were terrible. I find that when I'm pleasant and kind I'm treated the same.

Medications rarely in stock when we need them monthly. Drive thru has been closed for months. The entire property is inhabited by transients. My kids got to see someone heating up their tin foil the last time we went because we had to walk through the crowd to get into the store.

I wish there was a zero star rating...I have had my son sick, 102 fever, throwing up and coughing till his sides ache since Friday. The pharmacist, someone named Tu, decided that the prescription was too expensive and put it on hold without calling me to see if I could pay for it. My son's doctor called himself on Saturday and assured me it would be ready... I called to no avail but all I got was a recording saying it would be ready by Sunday. I call first thing today and a despot answering the phone said there was a hold, did not say why, but she was processing and it would be ready in an hour. When I went to pick up everyone was passing the buck and would not say why it was placed on hold. I had to stand there and wait until the same despot printed a sheet and wrote "too high:. I will be reporting this to the California State Board of Pharmacy because the pharmacist's and his staff's behavior of not filling the prescription and not bothering to let me know was unacceptable and placed my son's life in danger.

If you’re looking for a CVS with a drive thru pharmacy, don’t bother with this place. Elderly? Disabled? Sick as a dog? They don’t care. You have to walk alll the way to the back of the store and wait in line down an already congested aisle for the super slow brain dead pharmacy staff (with a couple exceptions) to even acknowledge your existence. They say the drive thru metal partition is broken, but funny how they stopped opening the drive thru when the summer months hit. Wow, what a coincidence! The truth is that most of the staff is lazy and don’t care about customers at all. Don’t waste your time at this location, it’s a mess.

This location is horrible. They still have there window closed after almost 2 months. They said heat one time and now say it's broken. Clearly looks fine.What a waste of gas. And they want you to send someone else inside if your sick. That's what a drive thru is for, disabled and sick. Come on CVS, get it together.

Normally I have good thing's to say about CVS. Staff is normally helpful. However the last time I was in here for a prescription pickup. A man had asked for help in finding a item the lady was rather rude to the man and was not helpful. After I got my prescriptions I looked around trying to find this man to help him out. I couldn't find him I think he left the store without that item he was looking for.

There were 10 people in line and only one person at the counter in the pharmacy. This place is a joke! The pharmacy manager needs a class in customer service.

I have been going to this pharmacy for years--- when it was still Long's. Staff have always been friendly and polite. This week they filled a prescription even though i cancelled it with a pharmacist because i am no longer taking it. I tried to get a refund, but they wouldn't give it to me without a receipt, even though the meds wouldn't be in my posession if i hadn't paid for them. The girl at the counter was snippy and obviously did not care to help me. I'm rethinking my loyalty to this store.

I use this location only because it is so close. But I really am not a fan of this place.On one occasion, they filled amoxicillin for my toddler and only gave me half of it. It was a liquid suspension so it had to be in two bottles but they only gave me one of them.And they're often out of my other son's prescription medication.Those issues aside, they are super super super super super super super super slow. If you plan to use the drive-thru, don't even stop if there is more than one or two cars already in line. Figure they're going to take at least 15 + minutes on each car. It's insane.They are very friendly and I have never had any complaints as to the staff in that regard. Just very slow.

The employees are friendly! However, the line for the drive thru pharmacy hasn't been avaliable for a while now. So, when you come in the store to pick your things up, the lines are always long and it takes a while.

I have had so many problems at this pharmacy (Shields & West). Countless times, including today, they state they are out of my medication with a "hope" to have it tomorrow. Some of us depend on our medication. The staff is SLOW, RUDE, and getting alternative suggestions is like pulling teeth. I have called in refills over the phone and chosen a time for pick-up, often an hour before I expect to go, and they are NEVER ready. I always have to wait. They will not give you a courtesy call if something is wrong, or they are out of stock ...they will wait until you are standing in front of them at your wits end and they will basically say get bent, fend for yourself. I am taking my family and all of our meds to CVS in Fig Garden where the store is well-stocked, the staff are friendly, and grounds are not lined with garbage, feces, needles, and homeless, and where I have never had a problem with filling my meds. If you can avoid this pharmacy, I advise you do...for driving to another neighborhood is def. worth avoiding the terrible customer service and headaches at this location.

Their pharmacy is aweful, they don't even deserve a star, I tried to get a CVS closer to downtown since I moved. Had my doc efax the prescription, after 4 pharmacist I'm told they don't fill prescription for cash payment. So no one bothered to call or text but after a week of being told they would get it ready, just think they could have called or sent a text.

I've had mostly positive experiences at this location (Shields/West). I've been using this pharmacy/store for approximately 4 years. I transferred from Rite Aid, where I always had trouble & rude service, so I love this store!!The main trouble with this location is the constant beggars & the filth strewn around the outside of the store; it is often very dirty around the perimeter.

I started using this pharmacy because it’s the most convenient location near me but I’ve had nothing but problems since I’ve started going here. For example, I went to pick up my prescription but they told me they ran out of stock then turned me away. I had to call my doctor and have him transfer my prescription for me to another CVS. My doctor apologized for their inability to find me another location and transfer my prescription for me.

The pharmacy is so unhelpful. Many times I have gone and they don't even acknowledge you. Today was the last time I'm going to that store. I have transferred my prescriptions to another place. I'd rather drive farther than have to deal with that place. I was treated very badly by the pharmacy cashier today. I will never be back.

Worst CVS ever!!!! I'm a paying customer & frequently pick up monthly prescriptions, but I will never return here again!!!! At first they told me I could use the restroom because I had to pee really bad, then later they changed their minds and said I could not. I had to hold it in for a very long time while waiting in line. Two days later, I ended up with a UTI in my bladder as a result. I was in and out of the hospital for two weeks. I will never come to this location ever again. Instead, I go to the location in Fig Garden and they allow me to use the restroom there.

CVS Pharmacy is the worst!I have a special needs Son (13 year old) with behavioral and Mental problems and he came from Exodus. I had went through the biggest run around from CVS regarding his pills.Within 2 weeks of playing around with my Sons prescription I had to hospitalize him for mental problems.I felt ignored, confused and also like a bad Mom having to deal with CVS.CVS just lost 8 customers🙁. I'm tired of being ignored at the drive thru window. Had to sit there waiting for 5 minutes before getting helped! All they do is talk to each other and ignore the customers.Hey if your listening... There's Human poop by the window!!!FILED A COMPLAINT!

CVS is THE WORST. If I could give 0 stars they would get a -10 They are INCOMPTANTDropped off Blood Pressure & Thyroid refills. Instead of telling me there was NO pharmacist they let me wait for an hour then told me.They text you to pick up a prescription then can't find it.Sick of the ineptitude and just plain stupidity.DO NOT GO THERE.

They close the drive-thru quite often with a sign that reads register not working so I have to go inside and I have trouble walking and they have several registers and they all work so they are closing the drive-thru because their lazy and just don't want to deal with it which I think is wrong especially if you have trouble walking and I don't want them delivering anything to my home

I have had miscommunication between the staff of the pharmacy and myself . Things seem to never be ready on time Come back around 4 pm they will be ready 5:30 I'm still standing there waiting . Lately it seems to be improving I'm really hoping it does . Masks enforced, social distancing also !
