Friendly staff. The shelves could be stocked more often but I wouldn't blame it on the staff.. maybe the supplies are coming in late. But other than that, I shop here weekly and the prices are pretty reasonable.

It has all the food staples a family needs to sustain itself. It is comparable to any grocery store. The staff there are cheerful and ready to assist. There is a deli inside, and you can purchase freshly made sushi rolls. It is adjacent to the post exchange, near the gas station, and other shopping stores.

The deli is amazing, and the fresh sushi is absolutely delicious! Their produce is hit or miss but the staff is very friendly and always have a smile on their face. Their restrooms could use some more focus when it comes to cleaning but still really good to show here. Definitely try a hot sandwich from the deli, you will NOT be disappointed!

From Produce, drinks, animal food, meat, cheese, bread, ice cream, plants, haircare, feminine products, bakery, deli, baked goods, holiday foods, etc! Has what you need most of the time. If they do not have what you are looking for- just ask and they will check to see if they can order for the store . Nice friendly staff.

This is the least commissary I had liked and heard bad things about it. It’s so sad how we live in the middle of nowhere and most of the time they run out of chicken, other brands of milk, if your a coffee lover and love to add creamer let me tell you they hardly have any at times. They have been running out of a few things every time I mean yes they have it on shelves but when they do make sure you go early and do your grocery shopping before you can’t find it and drive further to find it.That’s the only bad side about this place. Other than that it’s very clean, mostly all workers are nice and the baggers as well.

They have most of the basics, good deli, they run low during RSOI week so plan accordingly. Also still waiting for them to stock Big Red soda. Overall can't complain

Can only shop here if you have a military ID. I was here for work and was looking to purchase two items and I couldn't. The staff was really nice and welcoming but I walked out with empty hands. Plot twist, someone purchased the items I wanted and the cashier came running after me with to give them to me. Have to say I was a happy camper with my Häagen-Dazs, thank you!

I will always commend good customer service, the workers here are always going above and beyond whenever I need help. Scott with the meat department helped me order a fruit/veggie platter and was very accommodating, made sure my order was doable before I left the store. There have been a couple other wonderful workers who wouldn’t hesitate to assist me whenever I have questions, I forgot their names, but I’ll make sure to post it when I find out. The commissary is small but the workers make up for it. Keep it up, Fort Irwin Commissary👏🏼

Always a great experience here. For such a remote location, there is an excellent variety of items. If there is anything wanted that isn't available, it is quickly ordered. The workers, cashiers and stockers alike, are all very helpful.

The produce seems to rot quickly. Thoroughly inspect before purchase, some of it is rotting on the shelves. Prices are okay; meat is cheap. But its not like you have any other options without a two hour roundtrip, so you'll just have to deal with it.

There are good food selections, organized and the staff are really knowledgeable and nice. I like that it is also close to the hotel so we could still get fresh meals, steamer veggie packs, various rolls, etc. Its a one stop shop with the px right next to it.

Although I think that our soldiers should have the benefits they do because of their service, I am not happy about this place because I was working on the base and staying in a hotel on the base but couldn't buy food because I'm not in the military. I think if civilians are working on a military base as well as staying on base then their should be exceptions to that rule due to the fact that we are tax payers. I had to drive 35 miles to get food.

Great selection, friendly staff, and super low prices. There's currently some construction going on so the layout is a little wonky, but other than that, good place to shop. ALSO, you MUST possess either a military ID, have a fort issued ID, or have a kind sponsor (like in my case) who is willing to go shopping with you.

This is definitely one of the better military grocery stores I have ever been to. The selection is pretty decent and the produce section is very well stocked. The restrooms are pretty clean and the customer service is really great.

Very limited on anything gluten free. And most of the gluten free foods they had they took out. Hate having to travel 45 minutes to Walmart to be able to get food. Workers are super nicr though.

Only place to get groceries around here and they bump prices up around payday. And it's very difficult finding fresh veggies. The meat always has red spots or a yellow tint to it. I'm pretty sure a lot of it's old. When I asked a butcher about the meat once, she said she wouldn't eat it but doesn't know what's wrong or why they're selling it. Pretty gross.

One of a handful of time I been a commissary but this one was very nice the isles were wide and clean and layed out better than most chain stores I have been too. Love the checkout lines.

The people who work here are always very friendly and excellent at their job. Prices are good compared to civilian prices. There are some items that it would be nice to have (like bulgar), but, honestly, they're very well-stocked for a commissary.

There is actually a wide selection of items and they will order you what you want if they don't carry it. It clean. They bag your groceries. The prices are reasonable and often less expensive then what you can get off base. I'm actually pretty impressed as it seems rather small but still has most of what you seek.

Great prices and quality of produce, meats, and other goods. Always well stocked, and very good prices for being in California. Usually if something is not available, within a day or two it will be in stock. For being so remote, this is impressive.

Hours, Mon-Fri: 1100-2000 Sat&Sun: 1030-1990. Being refurbished inside. New freezers and coolers for the produce. Bakery, Deli, and Sushi Bar is awesome. Workers are pretty professional and nice.

Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Store is clean, we'll organized, and stocked. Found everything I was looking for, and lines moved smoothly. Parking lot is logical and efficient.

I've been shopping here for the last 3 months. This is our main source for groceries. For where we are located it's not bad, but it's also not the best. Commissaries usually have a limited brand selection of items, so I'm use to that. I hear some not too good stories about this place but I have not experienced it. I just wish they had a better selection of produce. I'm a big fresh vegetables and fruits person and it lacks here. I usually have to wait until I go off post to shop at other establishments for produce :(

Today I had the unfortunate chance of being checked out by Kayla with the purple hair. She had a serious attitude and wouldn’t answer my questions without me asking a few times and barely answered them at best. She never smiled and looked incredibly unhappy to be there. I usually have a wonderful experience, but this girls customer service is horrible. Everyone’s entitled to a bad day but this isn’t the first time I’ve had an unpleasant experience with her.

I really enjoy the Commissary at Fort Irwin. They are always really kind and helpful. I had my first encounter with a rude checker tonight, but that was the first time that that has ever happened. Otherwise, it is clean and well stocked for such a small, remote location
