I drive down from the high desert because this Petco never disappoints. The customer service is awesome. The store is always clean and stocked well. Brenda in grooming, always does an amazing job with my doggos. I will forever continue to come here.

Went in for a check up apt for my dog. The nurses are very nice and friendly. the vet was also nice and was able to explain everything clearly to me

I signed my puppy for training classes and they were rescheduled and sent a message supposedly using an old number I did not list when I enrolled my pet. I showed up and was asked by Lindsay, a supposed trainer, why I was there. When I told her why she stated that it was only a puppy graduation day and she had no classes that day. She was extremely rude and very unprofessional. I told her about the scheduled classes and looked at my phone and chuckled to myself, thinking that this was really insane that I specifically signed up and looked forward to this class and this start date. Then she said under her breath, I don’t see what’s so funny. After I said excuse me thinking I must be hearing incorrectly, she then said to me that this puppy class was pushed to next Friday at the same time and that today was puppy graduation. I looked at her face and asked her why she was so angry, to which she replied that she did not appreciate being scoffed at. Because of her attitude and demeanor, it was clearly evident that this would not be a positive experience or partnership for me or my puppy to be in. I asked her if she could please let me know how to get a refund for the classes. Again, she chastised me and asked why I would request a refund if the class was only a week away. It’s just a week! I again asked her why she was so angry and she said you get a refund at the front counter, I can call my manager for you, you need to get out of the puppy training area and it’s too bad bc I love training doodles. I said, my puppy is not a doodle. Which angered her more. I will NEVER give this company a dime of my money. I would think someone in this role would be kind and compassionate. DO NOT COME HERE. I will be scheduling with PetSmart. My friend’s MIL had a bad experience too.

Customer service is key. As I walked up to the front of the line, the male cashier was walking out of the register area. I said wait one more customer. He replied with, “too late.” And he walked away. There was another cashier but she had just started with that customer. This is the type of behavior that causes customers to stop shopping at places. It’s unfortunate that employees don’t care much about customer service.

I found the syringes needed for nursing small animals which I did not find at the other big pet supply store the day before. Their merchandise is well stocked and looking really cute in some displays with generic, faceless, colorless dogs. They have a good selection of flotation vests for dogs and a good selection of small animal cages. The cashier was cheerful and polite.

My dog is on a special food due to allergies, so I love that they always have it in stock. Not too long ago, they switched all the food aisles in the back of the store, and now it feels so cramped and makes you feel clostraphobic. I loved the setup prior, and it was much more inviting to continue shopping. There are also never any carts in the store. You need to grab one from the parking lot if you can find one. I used to love spending time "shopping " in the store, but now, between the cramped feel and lack of carts, I literally just get what I need and get out. Guess my wallet is happier these days, though, lol

employees were rude i asked about a certain fish tank and this girl with short blonde hair told me “how would you feel if you were a fish”, i honestly just wanted to get the best for a fish that i wanted and i didn’t expect that response, i sincerely believe the employees were acting this way because i look younger than i actually am but nonetheless people deserve respect and not to get talked to like they’re dumb.

This is the first petco I have seen where the reptiles were actually kept decently, and they had such a wide variety compared to anything I've ever seen at another big chain pet store. They had Savannah monitor babies, Blue Tongue skink, and some more non typical for chain pet store lizards. Of course, there were the beardies, the Leo's, the cresties. They weren't just kept on that ugly green carpet stuff either. It was real soil, real sand/dirt, and aspen. They all looked healthy also. The fish displays were also very nice, and they had a decent variety that I'm not used to seeing. I definitely would consider them if you can't make it to a reptile or exotic pets only store. We only went for one thing, but the store was neat, clean, and the staff was friendly. Photos were bc we are thinking of getting that setup for shrimp.

The worst dog grooming experience I’ve ever encountered. I thought my fur baby was going to catch a disease being in the tubs all of the tubs have black mold shampoo did not come out properly or build a foam everything was workin so bad didn’t want to try the other settings. Air blow dryer didn’t work. They gave us a dirty towels, and a scrubber with some other dogs hair on it. Overall it was a zero out of 10 experience never taking my child back there. It was a nightmare

I love it here....I bought a HUGE litter box for my 2 kittens that is rectangular shape and has a slot to put your scooper. This picture doesn't do it justice.....it's at least 3 feet long.....I recommend for multiple cats

Great Experience. Saw the vet today & it didn't cost me anything. Vetco Premier is awesome! Well worth the money because it has saved me a ton of money. They give the money the program costs back to me in multiple $5 Rewards every month plus it costs nothing to see the vet (That's just the consultation. Any tests or meds or procedures will cost.) Plus. I get a discount on various things, plus I get buy 7 bags of food then get the next bag free.iSo last month, using my rewards, I got a bag of food enough for 2 weeks it cost me $4. Plus I saw the vet. That alone is a savings of $30 to $75 depending on which vet we're talking about. Plus, one aspect that hasn't worked out a single time for me, you're supposed to get $20 in Rewards if you do go to another vet other than Vetco and I've been to numerous vets but the app won't let me submit or the people reviewing my submissions won't permit them. But that is typical for a Targeted Individual to be denied reimbursement. Spot Pet Insurance and IEHP do it all the time.But, it's still worth the $21 I pay every month. They give that money back every month and sometimes a whole lot more.

My dog NEVER bit me last three years . Raised from a puppy . After grooming my dog bit me & even growls getting touched or picked up. They don’t allow anyone to watch their dog at time of appointment which makes this even more questionable

Mess in some isles, I ask an employee a question regarding a product and she was very unpleasant, its not my fault if she doesn't like her job. The guy at the registers was very nice and helpful.no hand towels in the toilet most of the times. Petco in summit fontana ca. This location does not take care of their fish. All the tanks were dirty and filled with dead fish. Fish were eating other fish and looked like they haven't been fed in a weekAll their betas had scale disease. the first photo is hard to see but all the white spots are dead fish

Went there 10 mins before scheduled appointment and there was no sign stating to check in towards the back of the store, waited 10 mins in the front until I asked a petco associate and she told me to check in towards the back of the store. I’m not a psychic, please put up a sign up on where to check in at would be really helpful.

I come to Petco because my dog has to have a prescription type of dog food. Plus he only like the original kind and not the strew kind. What I have found is that this particular type is very had to keep in stock and it makes for me making more than one trip at a time. The Petco is not very close and I wish they would have more stock on hand.

Best pet store in so cal! Employees here are actually friendly and happy to help you and your pets. I personally bring my dog to their training class and grooming and I love their service. Classes have been very fun and progressive. With grooming I love that they take their time and actually pamper my dog then go over everything they did and actually show me. They also have a great rewards program. Very worth joining if you shop here frequently.
