Paga (If that is Correct) is Amazing! She assisted us in the differential Rooms The Hotel offers customers and guided us throughout the entire journey of my baby’s first time. She ensured care for our baby!! Jacob is also Amazing and took care of our baby while we were on a cruise. He is very professional and straight forward. We will definitely be bringing our baby back! It’s good to know we can trust you guys with our child.

I went to PetsMart looking for cat items. They had a great selection of toys including ones with interchangeable heads. I bought 4 different attachments: mice, feathers, streamers, puff balls, etc. Found the Nulo cat food I was shopping for as well as a cat bed. My checkout process was quite nice. The cashier was friendly and helpful. In all I had a very positive experience.

I believe that this location has two UC Davis veterinary graduates for the veterinary clinic. I’m disappointed but not surprised that the doctors don’t value the life of a parakeet because they are affordable and easily replaced.After they recommended euthanasia for the second time I just stopped taking my pets to any UC Davis grad veterinarian.After searching around I discovered that euthanasia is what UC Davis graduates specialize.The veterinary school at UC Davis may be the best in the world but we are not talking about the medical school, this is about their graduates. This is what the so called #1 school in the world produces.There are other veterinary clinics that do attend to birds and those doctors who are not trained by UC Davis did what they could to save the lives of my parakeets. Not one ever mentioned anything about euthanasia.On behalf of my parakeets whose lives were taken away by the UC Davis graduates veterinarians, please protect your pet by avoiding such cold hearted doctors. 🙏

Don’t send your pets for grooming and hotel in this location and Banfield hospital inside this location . I have 1.5yrs old golden retriever ,I dropped her for grooming when I went to pick her I saw nothing trimmed only bath and brush even I pay $12 extra for brush her teeth so total $90 no trimming at all. I called them again to take an appointment for trimming , they said you have to $130 it’s all scam . Second , I left my pet to pet smart hotel like 5 days with all instructions and paid them $300 plus but when I picked her I saw she got injured nail and very weak but nobody told me anything and said she was very happy but right away infront of store she got loose poop and she got very bad diarrhea after that and I took her to Banfield they said she got GI infection I’m very sure this is because of staying in petsmart hotel . One more thing when I dropped my pet to Banfield as they said to check up so I went to pick up I found I got very bad smell coming around her first they said she didn’t poop and they didn’t able to collect to test but when I asked she said she just did and they got sample. I asked her how come she got poop on her body then she said they put her in cage that’s how but they supposed to clean her up before handling to me . They don’t care about your pets all they need money . They are big scammers. They were also giving me prebiotic medicine and told me to pay that then I got call she got infection and there is another medicine for that . Do go this place trust me . Save your money to find better vet .

Pet hotel rocks! I have had many emergencies this past year due to Caldor fires, flooding and blizzard in December. I have had to leave home or being unable to get home due to this. Everytime I've needed a place to put Charlie they have always made room for my puppy and he has even learned good socialization skills with other dogs in their day camp. I highly recommend the pethotel and the staff is always friendly and accommodating, Charlie gets very excited just when I pull into the parking lot... This is a great place!

My 11 month old border collie stayed with Pet Smart hotel while we took a vacation out of town. I was very nervous as this was our first time leaving her with anyone else other than family. She stayed for 5 days and it took her awhile to warm up but eventually did overtime. The staff were really great and super friendly. I called regularly and checked on her and they had nothing but great things to say. Overall I felt the staff were responsive and kind when dealing with them. On the final day of her stay, she began having diarrhea and was taken to the pet hospital in the store (which I appreciated that the staff communicated well with us about her symptoms and out of precaution, they felt it was necessary for her to be seen). However, the issue I had with the overall experience is that upon picking her up, she stunk SO bad and had diarrhea matted to the back of her fur. I was very shocked at the condition she was in and frankly just wanted to get her home and give her a bath. I even called a few days later after thinking on it and spoke to the Assistant Manager, Doug. He apologized and said she should’ve been bathed but appreciated my feedback and was sorry it happened. That was the extent of our conversation. Although he was nice, I just didn’t feel satisfied with the end result and no resolution came from our discussion. I don’t know if they were super busy and in over their heads with the volume of animals they had but I was pretty disappointed when I saw her at pick up. Honestly, I would most likely not be a repeat costumer just based on that fact. Again, staff were very nice but I don’t feel comfortable taking her back for a stay.

Very friendly staff - our fish helper was amazing and answered all the question we had and was able to get the fish we chose out of the tank in a flash. Purchased a big fish tank and stand and a gentleman helped me load rather loaded it himself. Thank you PetSmart staff!!

Never purchased anything from the store. My young children just like to see the reptiles and the fish, along with any other potential pets they may have inside. We've spent upwards of an hour wandering around, and no one has ever been rude to us or told us we must purchase something or leave. I'll keep coming back for that alone.Thank you!

Took my dog to get groomed. Got him backed he was shaved bald and the top of his backwas cut uneven with the scissors. They trimmed two nails and didn't do the rest. The groomer cut his nipple, under his private and the back of his leg. She said her clippers messes up that's why she had to shave him, however put in the notes that I requested him to be shaved. He still smelled I don't think they even washed him! Got an approval for a refund went in there was only 2 ladies working which I understand they are short staff so I wanted the manager came up told me she would be with me in a few minutes never came back up. I asked the cashier how much longer she called the manager and was told she was busy and I would need to wait 30 minutes until she can help me! My poor dog is itching, biting and licking himself you can tell he's so uncomfortable. they need to get professionals I trusted them with my dog and now he's paying the price and I have a vet bill. This place is horrible!

The folks at the Pets Hotel in Folsom were upbeat, friendly, and professional. They took great care of our 3 babies while we were on vacation. It is always difficult for us to leave our babies when we travel, but the employees here made us feel very comfortable, making it easier to leave them in their care. Christina, in particular, was amazing at coordinating our stay and reassuring us that our babies were in good hands!

Had an issue with the groomers. I spoke to the manager about my concerns. He Offered a credit to come back. I won't. Nails not trimmed, dog smelled worse and my dog was very scared and skittish. He loves going to other groomers but this one was not fun for him at all.Customer service in the groomers was not good and my concerns were not addressed.I will not go here for any grooming services even if they were free.

Worst experience ! Do not bring your dog here ! They shaved my golden retriever as short as possible everywhere when I asked For just a cut under his body. It’s called a Hygienic cut enrich j figured they understood . I specifically said “ do not cut his back at all” . The groomer didn’t write it down and told other groomer to just shave him all I guess . Thankfully the manager didn’t make me pay but the groomer who did the cut was not sorry and complained about not getting paid when the groomer I originally Talked to admitted she didn’t remember or understand how I wanted My pure bred golden retriever groomed. Sad to see that others have had the same experience . I will never even shop at Petsmart after this experience .

I love the staff at Pet Smart they are so good and helpful with our English springer spaniel Charlie who is a 7-month-old rough and tumble just a boy male dog. He is fully energy and demands attention and he will get it but the people that PetSmart are so patient and so caring for your animals I recommend them to anyone who has an animal that would love to need to be taken care of for a day or two because he can be a little much but we love him

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. One of our dogs just recently went blind and we were worried about how she would do. They gave her lots of extra attention and made sure that she was comfortable. We loved the pictures and update that they sent us while we were away. We would absolutely take them to the PetSmart hotel again!!!

I like the pond/picnic area to the West of the next parking lot. It's got a fountain and is nice to take your dog there after the Banfield vet. It is nice that you can get appointments on weekends.

Price was reasonable, got a minimalistic “report card” on how my dog did over his 3 day/2 night stay. Got my boy back smelling like urine. I provided exactly how much food he needed for the stay and He came back with 2 "spare" portions worth of food. Customer service was good, everything went smooth at check in/out otherwise and I even got a free night so I appreciate that. I MIGHT still try them in the future but be diligent with calling in to check on him and make sure he's being fed as much/when he's supposed to be. The price is worth a second try with phone check ins imo

Our dog plays at Pet Smart in the day camp a few days a week. They always take great great care of him. Since we are there so much we have gotten to know a lot of the staff throughout the store and most of them are wonderful. They are always professional. We don't trust anyone else to watch our dog.

I take my dog 5 days a week. They got to know her personality immediately, and they are so helpful. The hours are great, so I can hit the gym after work before picking her up. I love the location, and all the employees are so friendly. My dog gets excited when she goes in the mornings. I recommend trying them out!

The cashier was so friendly and nice! We also stopped at the groomer’s to meet-and-greet our dog and the groomer - Melissa - who was wonderfully kind and caring with interacting with our big, snuggly, nervous 70lb German shepherd mix. Then we dropped him off a the PetsHotel, where the desk associate greeted us professionally and whisked our dog away with the utmost care. All in all a great experience and worth the 30 minute drive.

Love and trust the Petsmart Hotel. I use the hotel for my 2 small house broken and pad trained dogs on average once or twice per year, anywhere from a 4-10 day stay. Not a lot, however, this is consistent over ten years in particular for one dog that is 12 years old and my littler dog who is 7 yo. That said, in 10 years, on the post hotel surveys I copiously fill out with comments, I never have had a follow up call or email from from Petsmart Corporate or whomever is reading these or processing these responses. I’m now asking “Why not?” All these post-stay surveys I complete after every single stay, with detail and an inquiry and not one Petsmart contact to respond to me. Kind of frustrated with this. But I do always speak highly of the hotel when referring coworkers, friends or neighbors. Have not had any dog distress after a stay which is peace of mind for sure to any pet parents.
