If you need a knowledgeable dog trainer Cindy is your person. We had few sessions in the past and we are coming back for more (Jan. 2024). She offers different classes so check her web. The sessions we had were certainly worth it! Our dog loves it and gets all excited. We drive about 40 min just to have a dog class with Cindy. She is a great resource.

Cindy is a very nice and knowledgeable trainer. I only had limited sessions because life got in the way, but the sessions I had were certainly worth it!She also was very curious. I couldn't attend class as the doctor had discovered my puppy had Giardia first day of in-person classes. That left me without any classes to attend (he needs to heal first and then 2 weeks without it to be safe).However, Cindy offered me to attend a later class where she had an opening for free!Overall 5/5

Cindy's classes are amazing. We particularly appreciate how she can frame any issue so you can understand it from your pup's point of view. Her puppy class has worked wonders for our puppy and we look forward to taking more classes at The Right Steps in the future.The only thing to be aware of is that she generally only answers email on specific days. It's worked out well for us but if you need more immediate contact with your trainer you might have issues.

My puppy was diagnosed with Giardia after I had already purchased the class. She said I could come alone without my puppy. I went to one class and it was just her talking. I apologize but I need a trainer who is able to physically keep up with my dog. Since I was refused a refund, she said I could attend the next class after my puppy was cleared with a clean bill of health but she never got back with me about which class to attend. Wasted over $200.*edit in response to her comment on my review. I have email proof showing I responded back that my puppy was negative but never received a reply back confirming when the class was.

Very knowledgeable trainer. However, she was only willing to work with the dogs that were already nearly trained. She compiled huge amounts of information to give to us, but I think I would have been better served by buying a book. The first class was brutal. She talked the entire time and was unresponsive to questions. She also ran a half an hour over the scheduled time.

My dog, Rosie, a golden-doodle, and I have been in several of Cindy's classes. Her main technique is to reward good behavior with treats and praise.Yesterday my dog passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test. She now qualifies for "Therapy Dog" training. I am grateful to Cindy and the training she provided to make this possible.

Cindy has plenty of knowledge about dogs. Unfortunately she was not able to provide right steps to help with my dogs axiety. Giving 3 stars, because Cindy was not right for my case, but I recognize that she can be good fit for most people and their puppies

I was contract by this people to come and trained my dog after the person name carol agreed to come to my house today by 2 pm i reach out to her because it was 2:20 and she was not there she said she had call me because it was too far for her i never got that phone call she said she made and in top of everything she had the professionalism of hanging up the phone on me that show a lot on her part please don’t use this people now i have to start looking for someone new hopefully i find someone that knows the meaning of responsibility
