Honest review: highest price store in town, despite the wide selection of available products, there is a large section of empty shelves. Consistent rotten odor near the front of the store has not been dealt with. Wouldn't trust the meat here.

I shop here somewhat regularly. I try not to shop at the Exeter location, though. It smells like old litter box or rotting meat. Meat prices have been pretty high everywhere, but I just realized I paid almost $20 for three pounds of ground beef :( With the increased cost of living, I'm having a hard time affording my groceries even from R-N Market- usually a pretty cheap store. Cost of living keeps going up, my salary stays the same... raising minimum wage makes cost of living go up again, and it's the same thing over and over year after year. Sigh.There may be a problem with their meat area cooler; the chicken I bought from there was a little warm. Luckily, the chicken wasn't bad (cooked it last night). I hope they can see this review and deep clean their meat department and repair the coolers. Toss out the bad meat every day and keep the meat coolers clean- I think that's where this smell is coming from. If they can clean up there store more, and make sure they are keeping their produce clean (they tend to over water the produce, causing it to go bad faster), they may find even more customers would be willing to go to their store over the SaveMart down the street. This would impact profits to go up. A good clean up and some needed repairs are the only price.

This is a wonderful neighborhood store. Though they keep it very cold even in the winter time. Prices are reasonable. Sweetest watermelon I've found in this 2017 season.2019- Always clean and stocked. Parking lot is well lit at night.

Their prices are usually better than the other store in town. Although I do like the atmosphere @ the other store & R&N has a smaller selection of the items i usually need. This store is outdated but once you get past that it's not so bad. Meat/produce prices are low and the employees are friendly. We do enjoy the music in the parking lot a little more than we should I must say. There's songs from the 90's playing...we like to sing along and embarrass the kids :)

I will never again shop at this store for a couple of reasons. I have always encountered not so friendly faces every time I visit this store, never once have I ever been greeted with as a little as hello how are you? I really shouldn't expect much but it's a store, you would think that they'd be happy to see customers without regards to nationality. Another reason is that this store is very limited in selections, I can't seem to find the items I normally find at the lovers Lane RN market. Anyways, I can't believe how strict this store when it comes to accepting form of payment, they will not accept the old $100 bills that still in circulation, will not accept discover card, will not accept American Express. Oh well... Good luck everyone hope you have a much better experience than I've had with this store...

Love this place. It's small and prices are a little lower than other stores in Exeter. Granted everything is more expensive in Exeter unfortunately, but RnN seems to be alittle lower on things... Friendly employees and well stocked... Even have some unusual special items at times...

The produce department rocks. Great flow of displays allow easy navigation of carts . Great planning went into this department. Very friendly and helpful employees make this an an enjoyable visit. Heads up guys. 👍

This grocery store is immaculate, well organized and maintained with different varieties of Asian, Mexican and American foods. Upon walking into the store you will be greeted with a friendly, welcoming acknowledgement by the employees. Usually near the entrance are the weekly sale specials and the sales at this R&N Market are worth coming to. For example, C&H Sugar is $1.99 for a 4 pound bag. Hunts ketchup is .079 cents. Rockstar are .099 cents. The fish and meat selection is very fresh and prices are affordable and competitive with other grocery stores. There is a large selection of beer and even custom ale beer is available. The produce section is fresh, beautifully arranged and inexpensive. The watermelon at this time is only .017 cents a pound. You can find Religious candles here, Salsas and cheeses, a wide variety of chips, breads and juices and soda. A liter of Mug Rootbeer is .099 cents today. Outside of the store is a Glacier Water Fill-up station, 25 cents per gallon. There is plenty of parking.

If you've ever seen the movie Menace to Society and remember the part at the beginning where the store owner is following around the customer. I had virtually the same experience minus the Cap'n of the store owner. Been back a few times same thing. I have a go here now when they have super cheap deals on 🐔 for my dogs as it's not edible for humans

They don't have everything but what they do have is almost always cheaper than anywhere else. This place is my go to for pork if I'm doing pulled pork or tamales. They don't have gluten free products but they do have a nice little craft beer selection.

Good service, with good deals and they take COVID seriously which is always welcome. Compared to other grocery stores in the area, has really good prices. It's my goto around here. Others are too expensive.

Been shopping here fr years. Not much has changed as far as the look of the place that you should probably update it but they just recently read Stephen I guess they feel that's job well done the price is however you can't really beat them

Well RN has cleaned up it's store if you shop there you know what I mean! It stunk like "bad" fish it smell is gone for now. The produce dept looks alot better than it did just afew months ago. Fresh produce ( not tired) is always a site to see because we pay a higher price for what is grown right here in our own backyard. That's just crazy. Looking good RN

My visit to the RN is always fine because only pick certain clerks to go through if they're not working then I don't go that day so I just picked certain people that I've known for years since I've been shopping there ever since 1971

Make sure you check the dates on frozen foods or other packaged products! have had multiple issues with expired items. Otherwise a great place, with low prices on produce.

Love my hometown stores for the most part. One small gripe is the lack of Chinese food takeout. Maybe one day the dream will come true.
