He took his time explaining what it would be like and I could tell he was so sweet with my dog and made her feel as comfortable as possible. She’s so soft and smells so good right now! Excited to continue getting groomed each month!

I have been using Petco for several years, the groomers at other place were pleasant to deal with and the hair cuts were just ok. Petco has always been very kind to me and especially to Geegee. She can be very nervous. When I picked her up after her hair cut and bath she looked absolutely beautiful. The groomer that worked with was super kind to her. I will continue to use Petco for all my grooming needs. Thank you again to her groomer she was so good with Geegee.

I had my dog trimmed at Petco and they let me know that she was a little touchy around her feet and maybe the next time I should have her give her something that would help her relax a little bitSo I called my veterinarian got a prescription got the prescription filled and lo and behold about a year later when I made another appointment I got out the prescription and gave it to my poor dog and when I got to Petco they said oh no you must have misunderstood we can't trim a dog he's been sedated. I know that I did not misunderstand I know that Kathy told me that the next time I brought my dog in she should have something to help her calm down.Aside from having to be very careful Petco about treats and food that come from out of the country and cause my dog to stress they've been pretty good but I don't feel comfortable going back there by getting two different messages from their grooming people.

My first appointment went well because it was for my 4 lbs toy Pomeranian. However, for my other dog, the appointment was at 10 AM and Elizabeth refused to groom my other Pomeranian who is 14 lbs because my 14 lbs Pomeranian got excited and bark because he thought she was playing with him when she came down and tried to touch his feet. My dog even did the bowing posture where it means that he wanted to have fun and play, but Elizabeth rudely said that he was being too snappy and told us to take him somewhere that muzzle dogs. I won't be bringing either of my dogs here again and will find them someplace else in the future.

Katie was great, and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond suggesting a harness that fit our dog better and showing us where to find it. Our dog just got a ton of dandruff after the bath.. I think we need to use a different shampoo next time

I finally got my dog in for grooming after weeks of them rescheduling my appt only for them to injure my dog. After he was groomed there, he started limping and we noticed that they cut WAY too deep on his nail. This has been a horrible experince and my dog who will now need medical attention.

I can’t speak to the quality of the service, because we were never able to actually get my dog in. After waiting TEN WEEKS to get in (the first appt was cancelled) we took the day off of work and drove 70 miles to Eureka. During check in they decided that because he’s 13 years old and has a limp, they wouldn’t see him. In today’s liability-adverse world I can understand why they have a policy like this, but failing to share that information up front is unacceptable.The ladies were polite and apologetic, but unable or unwilling to make an exception due to their scheduling department’s shortcomings. Now the poor guy has to floss Eureka with his shaggy ‘do, and he doesn’t understand why he got didn’t get the haircut I promised him.We need a groomer in Southern Humboldt!

My groomer greeted me when I arrived, listened about my pets needs, and then acquainted herself with the pet. She did a great job on her nails and coat. Taking everything into consideration I will be returning to Eureka Petco for my pets grooming needs.
