Clean and well kept store. Team was regularly stocking shelves as well as doing wipe downs and sanitizing. Quite impressed with level of care they showed in keeping the store clean during this time. Plenty of products including items that have been previously difficult to find.

This store is awesome. I was in there of course last minute before they closed. They didn't follow me around trying to rush me out. Asap. The cashier was super nice and whoever was the closing mngr lastnight, renewed my faith in humanity! Thank you your kindness changed the course of my whole night! Never underestimate the power that even smallest act of kindness.

It was pretty good. They have a sign that says to wear a face mask but if you forget it they won't reject you at all. They will still let you go. They were pretty fast and friendly.

Love this place.. Has everything needed always and usually more... Prices are GREAT. So much easier to drive here then to a bigger store..

Never been to a store that made such a huge deal over something small. Rather than a customer going in to get a great experience with great customer service I was disappointed with the service I recieved from a cashier. The saying of "a customer's need always comes first" doesn't exist at this store. The manager himself doesn't know how to take control of it's own staff.

Love this store the cashier are very nice and helpful and if you forget something they let you run and get it real quick of corse if it is just real quick and don't hold up the lines. The store is clean and prices are good can't really ask for much more.

Some of the staff are just wonderful and then there are some duds. Recently I got over charged and when I challenged it the staff thought I was wrong even when I showed her their posted sales ad. I had to take a breather and hunt down someone with more than half a brain.

**Downgrading my review because the parking lot is still always disgusting and the interior is almost always a mess, borderline hazardous**The parking lot is the worst in the city when it comes to cleanliness. There's always trash and carts EVERYWHERE.

Usually a good place until tonight the cashier was letting several people in the store without masks when it clearly says on door u need to wear one. I think they really need to enforce this policy.

Today I went to Dollar general twice. This morning I had a full cart and the clear rang it all up and then told me she had no change for a 100.dallar bill. The items came to about 65 dollars. This afternoon I went to pick up a few more items . After waiting in line for 15 minutes in a long line again she rings it up and the then tells me she has no change for 100. Needless to say I walked out again and went to a store that was more expensive to get what I wanted. The service is always bad and the store is always thrashed, some sometimes you can't get down isles. Upper management needs to really look into this place it needs help.

Great people when you're in the store but if you call and ask for a product and they're helping somebody they actually ask you to call back they need to learn to multi-task and need to know Mariah's where products are and if somebody calls there should be another person available to go and see what the price of a product somebody is calling for

Check the expiration dates!!!Check the products with CRV, got charged for a cardboard juice carton that isn't a California redemption fee!But still got charged 10cents for their brand, clover valley in the refrigerator section & told the manager, the manager told me corporate can charge on the east coast and that's how the register rings it up,,, the manger knows it's not how the west coast does it but the manager can't change it only corporate can,,, boycotting their name brand clover valley! I do luv the the people that work at DG on Alpine st. Good people & some good prices, if not expired!I'm talking about DG in Stockton, California not Escalon, California, just want to clarify that!DG in Escalon is really nice!

The store is clean but the customer service isn't the greatest. Sometimes you have to wait for a chashier to come to the register for awhile. There is usually always a line. They have gotten alot better about bot having you wait as long.

I went the store recently and overheard another customer say that an employee had left on their shift because they ended up being called during his shift and it was a confirmed case which was surprising because when a person does the test, they are usually not allowed to be at work until the results are in saying it’s negative.

Dollar General Riverbank California went there today 835 p.m. all the lights are on cash register 5 was lit up the doors were locked I sent out in front of that place for 15 minutes never seen nobody move but the sign said open from 9 to 9 you're not going to be there don't advertise it not a happy shopper
