I will NEVER go to the EDH Walgreens pharmacy department again. I couldn't believe that my daughter had to wait 3 1/2 business days to have her prescriptions filled and yes her meds were in store. She requested refills in the morning on Friday, Dec. 29th. The earliest date they could be filled was Tuesday, Jan. 2nd by 1 or 2 pm, per Walgreens app. On Tuesday evening, she called the EDH pharmacy to check on her prescriptions and was put on hold for 45 mins only to get disconnected. Then she call the EDH Walgreen main store number and got transferred to the pharmacy to be talked to rudely and told that her prescriptions would now be ready at 7pm Tuesday Jan 2nd. Well the prescriptions were not ready by then.... Then called again this morning, Wednesday Jan 3rd, to find out her prescriptions still were not ready. What kind of customer service is that??? Then told her they would have her prescriptions done that day within two hours. We arrived at the EDH Walgreen 1/2 before her prescriptions were to be ready. So 15mins before the time that the prescriptions were supposed to be ready I went to the pharmacy to check and was told by a rude woman with long black straight hair that it would be ready in 20 mins. I shopped a little then went and sat by the pharmacy and read a magazine as the black haired woman helped and smiled at others and walked around the pharmacy department... Then I saw a couple a white bags by the window to the pharmacy department. This woman saw me sitting there and never said once that the white bags that I could see were my daughters prescriptions until my daughter walked up to the window and asked about her prescriptions... That is VERY POOR customer service... I will be informing all my friends how poorly we were treated at the EDH Walgreen's pharmacy department.

Pharmacy is not responsive and slow. Other issues too which I've file a complaint for. Hopefully they fix the problems here, go elsewhere until they do.

Had a prescription filled here for convenience, never again. Customer service was extremely rude and dismissive. They didn't take my insurance, so I had to use GoodRX, which they clearly didn't like, but took them about 5 seconds to input into their computer. They hadn't even started filling the prescription yet, and was told that it would be ready sometime before closing, also in a very dismissive tone. It was ready in about 25 minutes, and had a consult with the pharmacist, who was too busy texting on her phone to be bothered. Never again.

Pure chaos. They advertise with free same day delivery, but just do not deliver if the Doordash drivers do not feel like coming by. They even try to blame it on the customer, noting the order was not in the system (it was, with all confirmations!).

After reading all the other reviews, I see that I’m not alone in my feelings. Horrible customer service.My prescription was transferred to this location because it was the only one in the area that had it in stock. I arrived at pharmacy drive thru and waited 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me only to be told their system was down and was rebooting. I was told I could either wait 30 minutes or come back in 30 minutes, I chose to wait as it took me 20 minutes to get here. After 30 minutes went by I came back through the drive thru and was told that my prescription (one I’ve been on since I was 2 years old) required a pharmacists review but that the pharmacist is now on a break and I will have to wait another 30 minutes. Why would you tell someone to wait or come back in 30 minutes if the pharmacist isn’t even going to be available?UPDATE: I had my prescription transferred to a new pharmacy and didn’t need a pharmacist to review.

I would not recommend this pharmacy due to the lack of customer service. My prescription was transferred over to this location after they had been called to confirm it was in stock. I ended up finding our via a text message that they did not in fact have the medication. Rather than call around to other pharmacies, the individual told me to call around and find the medication myself. They are able to look at inventory of other Walgreens pharmacies around the area. I received a text message. When I called, I was on hold for over 25 minutes and then was hung up on. When I arrived at the store, rather than receive an apology, I received the same rude mistreatment from the same person, but while face to face.I have given Walgreens a pass many times knowing they are short staffed, but I am done. Lack of medication and customer service is no longer acceptable.

I always use the drive through pharmacy here and have never had an issues. I do check the app to ensure my order is ready and I rarely wait more than 10 minutes when I use the drive through.

Extremely poor pharmacy customer service. The gal with the long bleached hair and 4 inch nails doesn't say hello, doesn't say thank you, doesn't confirm the proper information she should for prescription pick-up, and will just walk away from the window in the middle of a transaction. She has very poor English but that is no excuse, she's downright rude! Moving our prescriptions to CVS.

The pharmacy assistant was extremely helpful and quick with filling my sons new medications while out of town. Genuine disappointment when pharmacist refused to fill one prescription despite the pediatric gastroenterologist giving clear orders. All in all the fast and easy communication with other staff made up for it.

Actually I want to give "-1" star or 0 if possible.The one of pharmacists in this Walgreens is the worst one I have ever dealt with. I called to reschedule my flu shot appointment and she was so rude to me. The way she treated me is.. I begged her to get flu shot. Even I could not reschedule my appointment and I was told I have to wait for a long to get it if you just walk in to the store. And the worst thing is she just hang off the call.

I wouldn’t recommend this Walgreens pharmacy to anyone. They are completely rude and waste peoples time. I called them multiple times today in regards to a prescription to make sure it was in stock they told me it was, after being told multiple different pick up times I finally went to pick up my prescription at 5 like the women told me, it would finally be ready the pharmacist just needed to confirm it. Once I got there they told me it was out of stock & I would need to go to a different Walgreens, the lady who told me this was so rude and didn’t care that I’ve been waiting all day for a prescription that they knew was out of stock. They literally gave me the run around all day in regards to this prescription different pick up times & multiple made up issues w insurance. I finally went to the other Walgreens and got my medicine in less then 30mins w no issues with my insurance. I genuinely can not stress this enough if you don’t absolutely have to don’t use this Walgreens pharmacy!

Can’t believe I didn’t switch pharmacies sooner. I used to like Walgreens, but the last few years they have gone SIGNIFICANTLY down hill. After my last few times there I was so fed up I moved my prescriptions to CVS and I haven’t looked back. They don’t allow drive through prescription pick up anymore, and good luck trying to get anyone on the phone if you need to talk to a pharmacist. And now I had the misfortune of my post op meds getting sent to Walgreens, and hours after my surgery my pills still aren’t ready! They also have poor customer service and act annoyed with each customer.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I was on hold for 30 minutes, then the line hung up on me. I called back, was on hold for another 40 MINUTES and then the line hung up on me again. Good luck trying to get ahold of a pharmacist over the phone. Not to mention, there is one pharmacist in particular that is SO rude whenever I go through the drive thru. While I wait in line which usually also takes a good half hour, I’m hoping it’s not this particular lady working. I’m switching to CVS pharmacy and not looking back. Walgreens sucks.

Big guy at Pharmacy in blue uniform so rude ,and 2 ladies , will never cone here again . 3 employees and they have me wait 40 minutes in line, finally big guy called me to the window and said “this is not a fast food restaurant “. So rude .

I was so impressed with Mackenzie who called me to let me know that my Rx was ready as promised and my Rx was ready from the Dr. order to pickup in less than an hour. No fuss no muss. Perfection! Thank you!

This is a zero. Multiple issues over the years. Newest, I began having Covid symptoms and made an appointment to get a PCR test. On Friday Sept 24 I did the drive through test. Told results should come in by Monday. Today Wednesday, no results. Contacted Walgreens, they said to call the lab. I called, lab said they could not find any record of any test from Walgreens. Lab gave my an email address which I responded to. Within 30 minutes the lab contacted me said no results were found and listed all Covid test by number by day that was picked up from Walgreens. Called Walgreens asked if I can retest ASAP as I have been sick for a week. The pharmacy stated they don't have time to do paperwork right now and we needed to call later. Stated, I have Covid symptoms for over a week and you lost the test. Pharmacist stated, "We don't make mistakes!: Tried to get a manager and the pharmacist hung up. There was no swearing or any attitude, but just hung up. If you value your health and time. do not ever got to this location. Went to El Dorado County Library where they are testing and they got me in and out. Walgreens should be shut down. Rod, El Dorado Hills Ca.

This is the WORST pharmacy I have ever dealt with. It takes days to get prescriptions filled. When I’m the only person in line it takes 10-20 minutes to even pick up. My doctor has had to call in prescriptions multiple times. She called it in for the 2nd time on Friday.. I just called in Monday to see if it was ready but “it’s on hold for an insurance issue”. Every other pharmacy I’ve used would have called to get it resolved, but not them.

I realize that the omicron variant has created a lot of havoc but this pharmacy has not stepped up in any any way. Hours on the phone, hours in line and it has been five days waiting on prescriptions. Will have to use another pharmacy, this is one is just not cutting it.

ZERO STARS--I am on hold currently for the 3rd time in 5 days. Each time I had to wait almost 20 minutes on hold. ABSOLUTELY not ok. Each time they give me a different reason why the prescription is not ready. Then, they tell the insurance part is fixed and it will be ready later that day. Now two days later, and on hold again for 20 minutes, they prescription is still not ready--can't wait to hear what lie they will give me now as to why it's still not ready...... We will be moving are prescriptions else where.

Went to this walgreen few days back and meet pharmacist. His behavior was very rude and his behavior was unacceptable even he said shut your mouth and so what I am saying … how come people like that become pharmacist - that’s why this walgreen has such a bad rating - 0 rating

Poor customer service - Walgreens allows legalized theft, what a shame! My doctor gave a prescription for some pills which I ordered & paid for at the pharmacy without knowing what toxic chemical it is and the negative side effects it has. When I found out and came to the store trying to cancel my order, they declined to refund my purchase. So they kept my unused, unopened bottle of their drugs and still charged me fees... The customer service at the front wasn't helpful either and the pharmacy dept. is just plain rude - I'm disappointed and will not come back here again!

So rude and slow pharmacy workers!!they don’t know what to do! It took more than 50 minutes, I am still waiting to to take just 2 item!! I am even not sure it is the right pills as it seems they don’t know what to do! They even neglected me when I wanted to ask them question at information section! All 3 of them! Most of the costumers are unsatisfied !!

Why does it take for one person like 20 to 30 minutes in a drive thru Can't they tell them to go round or come inside if their prescriptions aren't ready for upsetting in the car when it's 90゚ outside it's too hot. I don't understand why it is taking so long there's 3 cars ahead of me and I've been here for 20 minutes myself.

I wish i could give 0’stars. This location is absolutely ridiculous. I waited In line for 2 hours for my scheduled covid test. When i finally Get to the window- they closed for lunch. So i had To wait another 30+ minutes. Meanwhile I have 2 toddlers in the car- crying, hungry, need to go potty. If you need covid testing- GO ELSEWHERE!I call To talk to a representative in the store- i can Hear them talking in the background- “she’s just going to have to deal with it. We are going to lunch”.The system they have in place is a joke. So unprofessional and rude. What a huge waste of my valuable time. Not only will i never Get a covid test done here again, i will no longer shop from Walgreens- ever.

If I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would. When I went to go pick up my medicine, the guy who was checking me out told me that my insurance wasn't covering my medication. I spend twenty minutes on the phone with my insurance provider who checked everything out said my policy covers my medication. Here I am trying to get a refund (I went ahead and paid for my meds because I need them) and now a different pharmacist is telling me my insurance will refund me? When my insurance says its the pharmacists discretion. I have NEVER had such an issue with this in my whole life having insurance and with a pharmacy. I thought Walgreens would be better than CVS but all I got was a money hungry company taking my money when my insurance already covers it!!!! SHAME ON YOU! I will get this resolved, and hope I never have to step back into this building with horrible customer service.

Pharmacy is just the worst. The pharmacist here are aggressively terrible at their job. Try to hide behind made up policies to draw any accountability for providing service. You should avoid this place at all cost. The only reason anyone still goes here is the drive thru
